• Presta Shop Switching Domain Issue

  I have a website made on Presta Shop CMS. I had it on my trial server. The installation and everything. It works and runs fine. I then copied (using FTP) every file from my trial server to the main domain. I did not install it on the main domain (bought from network solutions), but copied everything there. The issue is when i hit the main domain, it somewhat redirects me back to the trial server. I have checked and changed many of the default values. and many values in the database. But still havent had luck. Also made changes in the .htaccess file, still without any luck. I do not want to go through the installation process again on my main domain. You can check the site (main domain :- www.myworld-myhome.com, it will redirect you to hrm.com/esol/ )

  In my opinion WWW will sooner or later come to full-blown AJAX web-sites, so that we wouldn't have page reloads every time you click somewhere. Now I want you to ask this. What tools and frameworks can one use to make a Java Web-application running on Tomcat have AJAX functionality like "in-place, with no page reloading" table sorting by clicking on its column header, multi-tabs that enable opening at once the new screen to the user without reloading a page, saving data in the database without reloading a page, and other similar things that we do not usually see on web pages. That's all should probably be based on AJAX. But how to integrate this AJAX functionality with existing java web-frameworks, let's say Spring MVC? Or maybe there are other frameworks that better suit such needs but that can be integrated with core Spring?

• Tcp Socket Closed

  I always thought that if you didn't implement a heartbeat, there was no way to know if one side of a TCP connection died unexpectedly. If the process was just killed on one side and didn't exit gracefully, there was no way for the socket to send FIN or let the other side know that it was closed. (See some of the comments here for example http://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=566568 ) But there is a stock order server that I connect to that has a new "cancel all orders on disconnect feature" that cancels live orders if the client dis-connects. It works even when I kill the process on my end, and there is definitely no heartbeat from my app to it. So how is it able to detect when I've killed the process? My app is running on Windows Server 2003 and the order server is on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10. Does Windows detect that the process associated with the socket is no longer alive and send the FIN?

But when using it in the servlet it return a null value. So the problem that the servlet return the parameter received but did not able to use it. What should I do to resolve it. Many thinks.

• Spawning Process Never Finishes on ASP.NET Page

  The code below spawns the process and sits forever, never finishing. It doesn't matter what process I run. If I use delegates it doesn't work either. It just hangs up in my dev and on the test enviornment. Also, if I use Shell with Wait it does the same thing. If I set wait to false in either approach it works just fine. It's ASP.NET 2.0 VB.NET DotNetNuke 4.0 on Windows Server 2003. I can't even phathom why this would hang up. UPDATE: It causes the CPU to throttle up but it's not running anything. It's like there's something weird going on in the threading. • AudioRecord doesn't work for Motorola Milestone

  I'm having this problem only on Motorola Milestone. • Restoring Sharepoint content database

  Hi, My WSS_Content database had got corrupt. And my pc was infected by virus. I had no backup of my WSS_Content database. So, I copied the corrupt database to a separete disk, formatted and reinstalled Sharepoint, with SQL Server 2005 as before (I'm using sharepoint 2007 ). I used Sytools Sharepoint Recovery tool, that i found on the net, which helped me restore my corrupt WSS_Content database. Now i want to set this content database as my "The content database" for my newly installed sharepoint. I tried the steps that i found in the link :- http://www.stationcomputing.com/scblogspace/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=40 I get stuck at step 3. Can anybody help me. I am really in a big mess. • MVC - Loading DLL programmactically

  I'm trying to implement a plugable architecture in asp.net MVC. I have based my modules on the following article - http://www.wynia.org/wordpress/2008/12/aspnet-mvc-plugins. I have a DLL that contains a simple controller, and a view. The view is an embedded resource within the DLL. The problem I'm having is, if I drop the DLL in the bin directory of my MVC application manually, then everything works perfectly i.e. the assembly loads correctly. But when I copy the DLL from a file upload input box (via a web form) into the bin directoy, I get an error (The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.) when trying to load the assembly. I use the same DLL, what could the problem be?

  I'm attempting to improve the usability of a client's SharePoint deployment via JQuery; and am hitting a brick wall when trying to find any sort of documentation of what's happening in core.js (aside from painfully digging through and trying to parse any sort of meaning out of it --all 250kb of it!!!!--) Anyone have any pointers, or documentation? EDIT: Sorry, to clarify my question, i'm familiar with using JQuery with SharePoint. My question involves hooking JQuery into SharePoint's own client API. My question is inspired by this post http://www.codefornuts.com/2009/09/forcing-sharepoint-into-asynchronous.html# ; where the author is overriding methods such as "SubmitFormPost" and "STSNavigate" in order to make the UI interaction more "AJAXy".

• How important is caching for a site's speed with PHP?

  I've just made a user-content orientated website http://www.humanisms.co.uk Its done in PHP, MySQL and jQuery's AJAX, at the moment there is only a dozen or so submissions and already i can feel it lagging slightly when it goes to a new page (therefore running a new mysql query) Is it most important for me to try and optimise my mysql queries (by prepared statements) or is it worth in looking at CDN's (amazon s3) and caching (much like the WordPress plugin WP Super Cache) which works by serving static HTML files when there hasnt been new content submitted. Which route is the most beneficial, for me as a developer, to take, ie. where am i better off concentrating my efforts to speed up the site?

  There are many SO questions (e.g. here and here) about how to do server-side scrubbing of Markdown produced by the WMD editor to ensure the HTML generated doesn't contain malicious script, like this: <img onload="alert('haha');" src="http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/srpr/logo1w.png" /> This doesn't affect the WMD client's preview box. I doubt this is a big deal since if you're scrubbing the HTML on the server, an attacker can't save the bad HTML so no one else will be able to see it later and have their cookies stolen or sessions hijacked by the bad script. But it's still kinda odd to allow an attacker to run any script in the context of your site, and it's probably a bad idea to allow the client preview window to allow different HTML than your server will allow. StackOverflow has clearly plugged this hole. How did they do it? [NOTE: I already figured this out but it required some tricky javascript debugging, so I'm answering my own question here to help others who may want to do ths same thing]

  Hello all, I'm trying to use youtube's api to bring back a listing of a user's videos. The request url looks something like: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/username/uploads with 'username' being the correct username. This bring back the appropriate url in the browser.   Hi, I'm looking for a simple bookmarklet to take the current URL of my website and refresh it with a couple of changes. For example: Take the current page: http://www.example.com/pages/ and change it to: https: //admin.example.com/pages/ * then load that new URL. *(I added an extra space after https:// because I'm a new user so can't have more than one link in my question) I tried searching for a bookmarklet that can do this but I couldn't find one. • Magento Search returns All Products

  I have set up a website (www.autobodypartsnow.com) and the search function has gone haywire. Whenever you search for anything, it returns every product in the system making it useless. I have fiddled around with it with no prevail. I have done the Like and FullText thing in the Configuration - nothing. I have reset the Search and FS cache. I have actually gone in the product attributes and disabled all the attributes from being searchable (just to see) and Rebuilt the Search Cache, cleared the FS cache and it still does the same thing - which tells me that something it pretty wrong. Any Ideas? Thanks in Advance!

I must say that if dont place the HyperlinkButton insise the itemTemplate, everything works fine.   Hello, can anyone tell me how to view executed queries in SharePoint? I couldn't find a way to show query logs with SQL Server. As you know, SharePoint framework hides all queries from programmers.   I have a list of training dates saved into an XML file, and I have a little javascript file that parses all of the training dates and spits them out into a neatly formatted page. This solution was fine until we decided that we wanted another web-page on another sever to access the same XML file. Since I cannot use JavaScript to parse an XML file that's located on another server, I figured I'd just use an ASP script.
