  • Custom UITableViewCell not appearing when row height is set

    I have a custom UITableViewCell which I have created in IB. My labels display when I don't over-ride: - (CGFloat)tableView:(UITableView *)tblView heightForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath however my content is squished. I want the height to be 120px so I have the following: - (CGFloat)tableView:(UITableView *)tblView heightForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { CGFloat rowHeight = 120; return rowHeight; } I'm not sure why the content inside of my UITableViewCell all of a sudden disappears?

  • "freeze" one column in flex datagrid

    I'm using a datagrid to display a column of date ranges and several columns of data. I'd like to make the first column (the date ranges) fixed; i.e. that column stays in place when the user scrolls the other columns. That way, the dates column will always be visible as the user scrolls through many data columns. I don't see a datagrid property for this; anyone have a solution? TIA

  • How can I make a child window topmost?

    Hi, I have a parent form, with some child windows (not forms - just windows, for example label controls) inside it. Under certain circumstances, I want one of those child windows to be drawn "above" the others, to display a message over the entire main form. I've tried setting HWND_TOPMOST and HWND_TOP on the child windows, but it doesn't seem to have any effect at all. Am I doing something wrong, or do HWND_TOPMOST and HWND_TOP only work on forms, as opposed to controls within forms? Thanks.

    I have a TextBox that I wish to reset its Background property to its default value after changing it to a different colour. I have tried setting it to SystemColors.WindowBrush, but then, if the Display Settings are updated to change this value, it doesn't get dynamically reflected in the TextBox (it does normally if TextBox.Background hasn't been touched). Any idea how to do this?

    I've been working through the exercises in a book recommended here on stackoverflow, however I've run into a problem and after three days of banging my head on the wall, I think I need some help. I'm working through the "Speakline" exercise where we add a TableView to the interface and the table will display the "voices" that you can choose for the text to speech aspect of the program. I am having two problems that I can't seem to get to the bottom of: I get the following error: * Illegal NSTableView data source (). Must implement numberOfRowsInTableView: and tableView:objectValueForTableColumn:row: The tableView that is supposed to display the voices comes up blank I have a feeling that both of these problems are related. The problem is that: http://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/friends.json provides me the last 100 persons ive followed and i wanted to display only 20 for each 'page'. When rendering the page for the first time, this works fine. However, when I post back to the page for some action, I get an error: [3/26/10 12:52:32:781 EST] 0000008c SystemErr R javax.faces.FacesException: Error getting property 'options' from bean of type TypeB at com.sun.faces.lifecycle.ApplyRequestValuesPhase.execute(ApplyRequestValuesPhase.java:89) at com.sun.faces.lifecycle.LifecycleImpl.phase(LifecycleImpl.java(Compiled Code)) at com.sun.faces.lifecycle.LifecycleImpl.execute(LifecycleImpl.java:91) at com.ibm.faces.portlet.FacesPortlet.processAction(FacesPortlet.java:193) My grasp on the JSF lifecyle is very rough. At this point, i understand there is an error in the ApplyRequestValues Phases which is very early and so the previous state is restored and nothing changes. What I don't understand is that in order to fufill the condition for rendering "item.typeA" that object has to be an instance of TypeA. But here, it looks like that object passed the condition even though it was an instance of TypeB. It is like it is evaluating the inner dataTable (InnerItems) before evaluating the outer (outerItems). My working assumption is that I just don't understand how/when the rendered attribute is actually evaluated.
