• Why my own UIViewController can't detect touch?

• Drupal - Lightbox -> iframe node displaying entire website with views

  I am attempting to make a view that would list thumbnails of my projects, then when clicking them enlarge the photo using lightbox and list out some text and a link to the website. I am not sure if there is a way I can just add text to the lightbox using views so right now I have it using a field for Lightbox2 iframe: thumb200wh-node page. Open my entire website again in the lightbox instead of just the node: http://jeffkilroy.com/portfolio_boxes Is there a way to just display the node from the views module or is there a way to just use an image but modify the description so that I can put text in?

  Hello, What is the best way to use the custom UI graphics on the iPhone? I've come across CGContextDrawPDFPage and Panic's Shrinkit. Should I be using storing my vector ui graphics as PDF's and loading them using CGContextDrawPDFPage to draw them. I did previously asked what way Apple store their UI graphics and was answered crushed png. The options as I see it, but I would really want to know what technique other people use. This question is for vector graphics only. Looking for what is standard / most effective / most efficient. PNG (bitmapped image) Custom UIView drawing code (generated from Opacity) PDF (I've not used this method, is it with CGContextDrawPDFPage?) Many thanks Ross

  hello everyone. i am using slideshow2 by Aeron Glemann in a website.Does in generate the thumbnails or do i have to provide them?the images iam showing are coming from a cloud, and are passed to the slideshow in an array.the thumbs exist in the cloud. how can i pass them in the array if the show cannot create them? i have used the replace parameter with regex but it shows as thumbnails the full image and nothing happens when i alter the css properties for the thumbnails. the images are displayed. here is the line for the show creation: var myShow = new Slideshow('show', eval(res.value), { controller: true, height: 350,overlap: false, resize: false, hu: '',replace:[/^\S+.(gif|jpg|jpeg|png)$/,'t$1'],thumbnails: true, width: 600}); the value object contains the images from the cloud in format shown below: ['xx.jpg','yy.png',....] thank you very much for your time.

• DIV menu ontop of <li> on hover

  Hey guys, this is my first time actually posting at stackflow but i've used people's answers before. Really a great site. Anywho onto my problemo. I have some 'li' tags. When I hover the mouse over these 'li's, I need a DIV to appear over the 'li' with some buttons, etc. Basically it's kind of a menu. the 'li's are an unpredictable length, usually somewhere from 1 line to 5. A great example of what I'm trying to accomp is the dribbble.com homepage. Hover over an image (though I'm using 'li's) and a nifty lil info thing comes up. I have absolutely no experience with javascript or jqry, I'm just a PHP guy with some CSS. I do the back-end work. Anywho, can anyone show me how to do this and include a basic example please? Would really really appreciate it. Help?

• ESRI frameworks: java vs javascript

  I'm about to develop a web mapping application with ESRI Products like ArcGIS Server and Image Server. I can't find a good comparison between the Java Web ADF and the Javascript Framework. They're of course different because one is a full environment and the other is only client side but it's much more concise and the step to start is minimal. Another problem is that the Java Web ADF is not compatible with our current application server (JBoss 4.2.2) and require an old 4.0.2 version. Someone out there has experience that can help me?   Hey guys, I am working on a game, and wanted to add a screen that would open when the user clicked on certain objects. The screen would be laid out to have an image on the left, a title on the top right, and text below the title. I have a few problems with this, 1) How would I create the popup box? (preferably with rounded edges) 2) How would I wrap the text (in front of the picture, but not outside the popup-box, I may even need vertical scroll bars) 3) How would I account for different screen resolutions (would they even make a difference?) • Annotation Title/Subtitle under Pins

  Hi, I use the Map to display some pin location from my database, everything is working fine. After that I use a pickerView to let the user display some specific pins. So I remove all the Pins first with [mapView removeAnnotations:mapView.anotations]; and display new Pins. There is like 100 of news pins, my problem is when I click on a Pin, the Title and subtitle are display under the others pins. Someone got the same problem? Thanks, P.S: Don't know if its relevant but I add a custom image for the pins.

However, in the chart image the labels are reversed. I searched the documentation, but I didn't get why it is like this. Is it because I didn't set a value correctly, or is this the desired functionality? I could reverse the label texts in chxl from code to be displayed how I want. Is this the right way?

I use the button inside a movieclip and I export it in a SWC. The I'm trying to use it in flex. What it does is pretty simple, you save once a code clip which you use very often and assign it a shortcut and when you want to re-use it on editor you type the shortcut you assigned and it automatically pastes that code clip and sets caret position to the defined position.   I've got a bunch of PNG images, and I'm looking for a way to identify duplicates. By duplicates I mean, specifically, two PNG files whose uncompressed image data are identical, not necessarily whose files are identical. This means I can't do something simple like compare CRC hash values. I figure this can actually be done reliably since PNGs use lossless compression, but I'm worried about speed. I know I can winnow things down a little by testing for equal dimensions first, but when it comes time to actually compare the images against each other, is there any way to do it reasonably efficiently? (ie. faster than the "double-for-loop checking pixel values against each other" brute-force method?)
