  • HTML inside webView

    - by Samuh
I am posting some data to a server using DefaultHttpClient class and in the response stream I am getting a HTML file. I save the stream as a string and pass it onto another activity which contains a WebView to render this HTML on the screen: response = httpClient.execute(get); InputStream is = response.getEntity().getContent(); BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(is,"utf-8")); StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer(); String line; while((line=br.readLine())!=null){ sb.append(line); sb.append("\n"); } is.close(); Intent intent = new Intent(this,Trial.class); intent.putExtra("trial",sb.toString()); startActivity(intent); Log.i("SB",sb.toString()); In Second Activity, the code to load the WebView reads: WebView browser = ((WebView)findViewById(R.id.trial_web)); browser.getSettings().setJavaScriptEnabled(true); browser.loadData(html,"text/html", "utf-8"); When I run this code, the WebView is not able to render the HTML content properly. It actually shows the HTML string in URL encoded format on the screen. Interestingly, If I copy the Loggers output to HTML file and then load this HTML in my WebView(using webview.loadurl(file:///assets/xyz.html)) everything works fine. I suspect some problem with character encoding. What is going wrong here? Please help. Thanks.

  • sphinx xmlpipe2 cassandra and ruby 1.9

  • Conversion from Iphone Core Surface RGB Frame into ffmepg AVFarme

    - by Sridhar
    Hello, I am trying to convert Core Surface RGB frame buffer(Iphone) to ffmpeg Avfarme to encode into a movie file. But I am not getting the correct video output (video showing colors dazzling not the correct picture) I guess there is something wrong with converting from core surface frame buffer into AVFrame. Here is my code : Surface *surface = [[Surface alloc]initWithCoreSurfaceBuffer:coreSurfaceBuffer]; [surface lock]; unsigned int height = surface.height; unsigned int width = surface.width; unsigned int alignmentedBytesPerRow = (width * 4); if (!readblePixels) { readblePixels = CGBitmapAllocateData(alignmentedBytesPerRow * height); NSLog(@"alloced readablepixels"); } unsigned int bytesPerRow = surface.bytesPerRow; void *pixels = surface.baseAddress; for (unsigned int j = 0; j < height; j++) { memcpy(readblePixels + alignmentedBytesPerRow * j, pixels + bytesPerRow * j, bytesPerRow); } pFrameRGB->data[0] = readblePixels; // I guess here is what I am doing wrong. pFrameRGB->data[1] = NULL; pFrameRGB->data[2] = NULL; pFrameRGB->data[3] = NULL; pFrameRGB->linesize[0] = pCodecCtx->width; pFrameRGB->linesize[1] = 0; pFrameRGB->linesize[2] = 0; pFrameRGB->linesize[3] = 0; sws_scale (img_convert_ctx, pFrameRGB->data, pFrameRGB->linesize, 0, pCodecCtx->height, pFrameYUV->data, pFrameYUV->linesize); Please help me out. Thanks, Raghu

  • Flex, Ant, mxmlc and conditional compilation

    - by Rezmason
My ActionScript project builds with several compile-time specified constants. They are all Booleans, and only one of them is true at any given time. The rest must be false. When I represented my build process in a bash script, I could loop through the names of all these constants, set one of them to be true and the rest to be false, then concatenate them onto a string to be inserted as a set of arguments passed to mxmlc. In Ant, looping is more complicated. I've tried the ant-contrib for tag: <mxmlc file='blah' output='blah'> <!- ... -> <for list='${commaSeparatedListOfConstNames}' param='constName'> <sequential> <define> <name>${constName}</name> <value>${constName} == ${theTrueConst}</value> <!-- (mxmlc's define arguments can be strings that are evaluated at compile time) --> </define> </sequential> </for> </mxmlc> Long story short, ant-contrib tags like the for tag can't go in the mxmlc task. So now I'm using Ant's propertyregex to take my list of arguments and format them into a set of define args, like my old bash script: <propertyregex property='defLine.first' override='false' input='${commaSeparatedListOfConstNames}' regexp='([^\|]+)\,' replace='\1,false ' /> <propertyregex property='defLine.final' input='${defLine.first}' regexp='(@{theTrueConst}\,)false' replace='\1true' /> <!-- result: -define+=CONST_ONE,false -define+=CONST_TWO,false -define+=TRUE_CONST,true --> Now my problem is, what can I do with this mxmlc argument and the mxmlc task? Apparently arg tags can go inside the mxmlc task without it throwing an error, but they don't seem to have any effect. What am I supposed to do? How do I make this work with the mxmlc task?

  • GDB Not Skipping Functions without Debug Info

  • Javadoc through Ant task with {@inheritDoc} from J2SE classes

    - by miorel
I generate documentation for a project using an Ant task. In several places, I wanted to inherit documentation from the standard classes, so I used {@inheritDoc} which allowed me to see the Javadoc in Eclipse, but it wouldn't show up in the HTML files. The problem was that I hadn't included the unzipped src.zip (J2SE source) in the sourcepath. Having fixed that, I now get several hundred warnings about the use of Sun proprietary API in files like lib/jdk-src/java/lang/Class.java. Is there any way to suppress these warnings? It's hard to find relevant problems in this mess. A possible solution I thought of was to run the Javadoc task once without including the J2SE source in the sourcepath, which will reveal any real issues. Then I can run Javadoc a second time with the J2SE source included, discarding the output altogether, which will produce documentation with properly-working {@inheritDoc}s. I'm not entirely sure about the best way to accomplish this in Ant, not to mention that running Javadoc twice would be a dirty fix. Any suggestions?

  • PGP Encrypt from C# using GnuPG

    - by Kishore
Hello All, I'm trying to encrypt a incoming document in C#, and I'm using GnuPG with input redirection. I need to use -se(sign and encrypt) in a single step, which requires entering passphrase. But for some reason, input redirection is not working. Appreciate your help. Control is going to else block. I'm not sure if there is deadlock or child process(gpg.exe) waiting for the input. pgpproc = new Process(); pgpproc.StartInfo.FileName = exeFilePath; pgpproc.StartInfo.RedirectStandardOutput = false; pgpproc.StartInfo.RedirectStandardInput = true; pgpproc.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = false; pgpproc.StartInfo.Arguments = "-a -o C:\PGPStaging\output.pgp -se -r recipientID C:\PGPStaging\input.txt"; pgpproc.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = true; pgpproc.Start(); StreamWriter myStreamWriter = pgpproc.StandardInput; myStreamWriter.Write("*****"); myStreamWriter.Close(); if (pgpproc.WaitForExit(waittime)) { //success } else { //failure pgpproc.Kill(); pgpproc.WaitForExit(); } `

  • how to use a regex to search backwards effectively?

    - by Asaf
hi, i'm searching forward in an array of strings with a regex, like this: for (int j = line; j < lines.length; j++) { if (lines[j] == null || lines[j].isEmpty()) { continue; } matcher = pattern.matcher(lines[j]); if (matcher.find(offset)) { offset = matcher.end(); line = j; System.out.println("found \""+matcher.group()+"\" at line "+line+" ["+matcher.start()+","+offset+"]"); return true; } offset = 0; } return false; note that in my implementation above i save the line and offset for continuous searches. anyway, now i want to search backwards from that [line, offset]. my question: is there a way to search backwards with a regex efficiently? if not, what could be an alternative? 10x, asaf :-) clarification: by backwards i mean finding the previous match. for example, say that i'm searching for "dana" in "dana nama? dana kama! lama dana kama?" and got to the 2nd match. if i do matcher.find() again, i'll search forward and get the 3rd match. but i want to seach backwards and get to the 1st match. the code above should then output something like: found "dana" at line 0 [0,3] // fwd found "dana" at line 0 [11,14] // fwd found "dana" at line 0 [0,3] // bwd

  • Status of VB6/ Best Desktop Application Language with Native Compilation

    - by Sandeep Jindal
I was looking for a Desktop Application Programming Language with one of the biggest constraint: - “I need to output as native executable”. I explored multiple options: Java is not a very good option for desktop programming, but still you can use it. But Java to Exe is a problem. Only GCJ and Excelsior-Jet provides this. .Net platform does not support native compilation. Only very few expensive tools are available which can do the job. Python is not an option for native compilation. Right? VB6 is the option I am left with. From the above list, if I am correct, VB6 is the only and probably the best option I have. But VB6 itself has issues like: It is no more under development since There are questions on support of VB6 IDE with Vista Thus my questions are: From the list of programming language options, do you want to add any more? If VB6 is good/best option, looking at its development status, would you suggest using VB6 in this era?

  • Geolocation Firefox accurate than iPhone Safari?

    - by johnz
    I just tested Geolocation on Firefox 3.6 and iPhone Safari (os 3.1.3), the result is interesting, firefox is more accurate than safari. any one got idea how to make iPhone Safari result more accurate. this is the code for testing: navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(handler, {enableHighAccuracy: true}); function handler(location) { var message = document.getElementById("message"); message.innerHTML = "<img src='http://maps.google.com/staticmap?sensor=true&center=" + location.coords.latitude + "," + location.coords.longitude + "&size=300x300&maptype=street&zoom=16&key=ABQIAAAAZrVtlT2df2pkfI_RZB_6WBRWTAkRKJS7h1XjKaOTqACHuw1n0BT5cATkkKFnZNGHmrwUw9IilQK0Eg' />"; message.innerHTML+="<p>Longitude: " + location.coords.longitude + "</p>"; message.innerHTML+="<p>Latitude: " + location.coords.latitude + "</p>"; message.innerHTML += "<p>Accuracy: " + location.coords.accuracy + "</p>"; // call the function with my current lat/lon getPlaceFromFlickr(location.coords.latitude, location.coords.longitude, 'output'); } . . test from here

  • Ruby on Rails export to csv - maintain mysql select statement order

    - by zekial
Exporting some data from mysql to a csv file using FasterCSV. I'd like the columns in the outputted CSV to be in the same order as the select statement in my query. Example: rows = Data.find( :all, :select=>'name, age, height, weight' ) headers = rows[0].attributes.keys FasterCSV.generate do |csv| csv << headers rows.each do |r| csv << r.attributes.values end end CSV Output: height, weight, name, age 74,212,bob,23 70,201,fred,24 . . . I want the CSV columns in the same order as my select statement. Obviously the attributes method is not going to work. Any ideas on the best way to ensure that the columns in my csv file will be in the same order as the select statement? Got a lot of data and performance is an issue. The select statement is not static. I realize I could loop through column names within the rows.each loop but it seems kinda dirty.

  • jQuery Drag/Drop problem: mousemove Event not binding for some elements

    - by saturdayplace
Using the latest jQuery/UI that are hosted at Google. I've got the following markup: <ul id="tree"> <li><a href="1/">One</a></li> <li><a href="2/">Two</a></li> </ul> And the following javascript: $(document).ready(function(){ // Droppable callbacks function dragOver(overEvent, ui_object) { $(this).mousemove(function(moveEvent){ console.log("moved over", this); }); } function drop_deactivate() { $(this).unbind(); } function drag_out() { $(this).unbind(); } // Actual dragging $("#treeContainer li").draggable({ revert: true, revertDuration: 0 }); // Actuall dropping $("a").droppable({ tolerance: "pointer", over: dragOver, deactivate: drop_deactivate, out: drag_out }); }); If I drag the first li down over the second, the mousemove function fires (and firebug logs the output). But if I drag the second li up over the first, the mousemove function doesn't fire. You can see this live at http://jsbin.com/ivala. Is there a reason for this? Should I be trapping the mousemove event in some other way? Edit: It appears as thought the mousemove() event isn't binding for earlier elements than the one currently being dragged (should be bound upon their mouseover).

  • NSURLErrorBadURL error

    - by Victor jiang
My iphone app called Google Local Search(non javascript version) to behave some search business. Below is my code to form a url: NSString *url = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/services/search/local?v=1.0&q=%@", keyword]; NSMutableURLRequest *request = [[[NSMutableURLRequest alloc] init] autorelease]; [request setURL:[NSURL URLWithString:url]]; [request setHTTPMethod:@"GET"]; //get response NSHTTPURLResponse* urlResponse = nil; NSError *error = [[[NSError alloc] init] autorelease]; NSData *responseData = [NSURLConnection sendSynchronousRequest:request returningResponse:&urlResponse error:&error]; NSString *result = [[NSString alloc] initWithData:responseData encoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]; When the keyword refers to english characters, it works fine, but when refers to chinese characters(encoded in UTF8, such as '???' whose UTF8 code is 'e5a4a9 e5ae89 e997a8'), it will report NSURLErrorBadURL error(-1000, Returned when a URL is sufficiently malformed that a URL request cannot be initiated). Why? Then I carry out further investigation, I use Safari and type in the url below: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/services/search/local?v=1.0&q=??? It also works, and the output I got from Macsniffer is: /ajax/services/search/local?v=1.0&q=%E5%A4%A9%E5%AE%89%E9%97%A8 So I write a testing url directly in my app NSString *url = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/services/search/local?v=1.0&q=%E5%A4%A9%E5%AE%89%E9%97%A8"]; And what I got from the Macsniffer is some other thing: /ajax/services/search/local?v=1.0&q=1.687891E-28750X1.417C0001416CP-102640X1.4CC2D04648FBP-9999-1.989891E+0050X1.20DC00184CC67P-953E8E99A8 It seems my keyword "%E5%A4%A9%E5%AE%89%E9%97%A8" was translated into something else. So how can I form a valid url? I do need help!

  • Linux Device Driver - what's wrong with my device_read()?

    - by Rob
My device /dev/my_inc is meant to take a positive integer N represented as an ascii string, and store it. Any read from /dev/my_inc will produce the ascii string representation of N + 1. • The Date type and the Android database

    - by cdonner
I understand that SQLite stores dates as long integers. When I read rows into a cursor using the standard method (i.e. using the query() method that reads data into a cursor), the result is a date string that includes the time. If I want a different format, I have to parse the string back into a date - possible, but a bit backwards. By using a ViewBinder (as suggested in this question), I can pretty much do anything I want, but the date is already a string at the time the method executes. The accepted answer to the above question also suggests that storing dates as longs would help avoid this problem. I don't want to do that, just in case I want to interpret my data with something else than this application. Maybe I want to expose it via a provider. Is there a way to handle this in the database adapter instead, i.e. controlling the date format that the cursor contains, so that I don't have to change the schema, and don't have to parse the default output back into a Date type?

  • GNU Make: How to call $(wildcard) within $(eval)

    - by bengineerd
I'm trying to create a generic build template for my Makefiles, kind of like they discuss in the eval documentation. I can't seem to get the wildcard function to work within an eval. The basic code I'm having issues with looks like this. SRC_DIR = ./src/ PROG_NAME = test define PROGRAM_template $(1)_SRC_DIR = $(join $(SRC_DIR), $(1)/) $(1)_SRC_FILES = $(wildcard $$($(1)_SRC_DIR)*.c) endef $(eval $(call PROGRAM_template, $(PROG_NAME))) all: @echo $(test_SRC_DIR) @echo $(test_SRC_FILES) @echo $(wildcard $(wildcard $(test_SRC_DIR)*.c) When I run make with this, the output is ./src/test [correct list of all .c files in ./src/test/] Basically, the wildcard call within PROGRAM_template is not being eval'd as I expect it. The call results in an empty list. The join call is being eval'd correctly though. So, what am I doing wrong? My guess is that $$($(1)_SRC_DIR) is not correct, but I can't figure out the right way to do it. EDIT Once this was solved, it didn't take long for me to hit another issue with eval. I posted it as a new question at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2428506/workaround-for-gnu-make-3-80-eval-bug

  • Text mining on large database (data mining)

    - by yox
Hello, I have a large database of resumes (CV), and a certain table skills grouping all users skills. inside that table there's a field skill_text that describes the skill in full text. I'm looking for an algorithm/software/method to extract significant terms/phrases from that table in order to build a new table with standarized skills.. Here are some examples skills extracted from the DB : Sectoral and competitive analysis Business Development (incl. in international settings) Specific structure and road design software - Microstation, Macao, AutoCAD (basic knowledge) Creative work (Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator) checking and reporting back on campaign progress organising and attending events and exhibitions Development : Aptana Studio, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, AJAX Discipline: One to one marketing, E-marketing (SEO & SEA, display, emailing, affiliate program) Mix marketing, Viral Marketing, Social network marketing. The output shoud be something like : Sectoral and competitive analysis Business Development Specific structure and road design software - Macao AutoCAD Photoshop In-Design Illustrator organising events Development Aptana Studio PHP HTML CSS JavaScript SQL AJAX Mix marketing Viral Marketing Social network marketing emailing SEO One to one marketing As you see only skills remains no other representation text. I know this is possible using text mining technics but how to do it ? the database is realy large.. it's a good thing because we can calculate text frequency and decide if it's a real skill or just meaningless text... The big problem is .. how to determin that "blablabla" is a skill ? thanks

API at C++ layer succesfully gets called, however, when call returns to Java layer, the cPtr (long) variable does not get updated. Ideally, this variable should contain address of CExample object. I read in documentation that typemaps can be used to handle output parameters and pointer references as well; however, I am not able to figure out the suitable way to use typemaps to resolve this problem, or any other workaround. Please suggest if i am doing something wrong, or how to use typemap in such situation?

  • Error 404: No target servlet configured for uri

    - by Aman
Hi Experts, I just got done with a new Web module built with Spring Framework. Till now I was testing all the pages on my local machine using Tomcat. Today after I moved the application to Websphere, I am getting the following error: Error 404: No target servlet configured for uri is there anything I need to do in web.xml or somewhere? I deployed an EAR file on my WAS , which has another war file. Below is the output I am seeing on the console, if thats any help. The resource WEB-INF/ibm-web-bnd.xmi that is defined in URI WEB-INF/ibm-web-bnd.xmi for module analytics.war is not valid. The resource has a cross reference org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.webapplication.internal.impl.WebAppImpl@4be44be4 (eProxyURI: WEB-INF/web.xml#WebApp_ID) that cannot be resolved. • Cocoa NSStream works with SSL, with socks5, but not at the same time

    - by Evan D
Upon connecting (to an FTP, at first without SSL) I run: NSArray *objects = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:@"proxy.ip", [NSNumber numberWithInt:1080], NSStreamSOCKSProxyVersion5, @"user", @"pass", nil]; NSArray *keys = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:NSStreamSOCKSProxyHostKey, NSStreamSOCKSProxyPortKey, NSStreamSOCKSProxyVersionKey, NSStreamSOCKSProxyUserKey, NSStreamSOCKSProxyPasswordKey, nil]; NSDictionary *proxyDictionary = [NSDictionary dictionaryWithObjects:objects forKeys:keys]; [iStream retain]; [iStream setDelegate:self]; [iStream scheduleInRunLoop:[NSRunLoop currentRunLoop] forMode:NSDefaultRunLoopMode]; [iStream setProperty:proxyDictionary forKey:NSStreamSOCKSProxyConfigurationKey]; [iStream open]; same for iStream. This allows me to connect succesfully through a socks5 proxy. If I continue without setProperty:proxyDictionary... (socks5 disabled) I would tell the server to switch to SSL, and then successfully apply these settings to the in/output streams, thus giving me a SSL connection: NSMutableDictionary *settings = [NSMutableDictionary dictionaryWithCapacity:1]; [settings setObject:(NSString *)NSStreamSocketSecurityLevelTLSv1 forKey:(NSString *)kCFStreamSSLLevel]; // to allow selfsigned certificates: [settings setObject:[NSNumber numberWithBool:YES] forKey:(NSString *)kCFStreamSSLAllowsAnyRoot]; [iStream retain]; [iStream setDelegate:self]; [iStream scheduleInRunLoop:[NSRunLoop currentRunLoop] forMode:NSDefaultRunLoopMode]; CFReadStreamSetProperty((CFReadStreamRef)iStream, kCFStreamPropertySSLSettings, (CFTypeRef)settings); [iStream setProperty:NSStreamSocketSecurityLevelTLSv1 forKey:NSStreamSocketSecurityLevelKey]; same for oStream. All of which works fine if I disable socks5. If I turn it on (line 7 in the first snippit) I lose contact when applying the SSL settings. If I had to guess, I'd think it's losing some properties when applying (ssl) "settings"? Please help :) Evan

  • Request.IsAuthenticated problem with Cache in ASP.NET

    - by Julien
    Hello guys or girls..! I'm new in ASP.NET and I have a problem... When I want to cache I View or an Action like this : <%@ Page title="" language="C#" masterpagefile="~/Views/Shared/MemberHome.Master" inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage<IndexViewData>" %> <%@ OutputCache duration="400" varybyparam="divId;regionId;page" %> I know that it cache all data in my page ... But in my page I have a condition like this : <% if(Request.IsAuthenticated) { %> <a href="/fr/Advertiser/Search"><img src="/content/images/v_2/bot.jpg" alt="Entreprises liées à vos passions" title="Entreprises liées à vos passions" /></a> <% } else { %> <a href="/fr/Advertiser/OpenSearch"><img src="/content/images/v_2/bot.jpg" alt="Entreprises liées à vos passions" title="Entreprises liées à vos passions" /></a> <% } %> I dont want to cache this variable : Request.IsAuthenticated ... because some result depend of this condition ... I try the donut caching by scottgu's but it return (I think) just some text not a bool ... http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2006/11/28/tip-trick-implement-donut-caching-with-the-asp-net-2-0-output-cache-substitution-feature.aspx Now I'm tired to try anything that come to my mind .. can you help me pleaseee! :) Julien.
