    Using XNA 4.0, I am currently playing songs from the user's PC/XBox360 using the following: Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Media.MediaPlayer.Play(Song song); I see that MediaPlayer has a static Property PlayPosition that, as I've researched, used to be a get/set property, but it has been updated to get-only. Are there any other methods/tricks I can use to explicitly set the playing position of a currently playing song?

But why instantiation of static nested class object is allowed in following situaltion? class EnclosingClass { //... class static StaticInnerClass { //... } } Why we can create object of inner class if it is marked as static? For instance, instead of mvn eclipse:eclipse completion escapes the colon mvn eclipse\:eclipse Any suggestions how this can be fixed? I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 (2.6.27-17-generic) and $ bash -version GNU bash, version 3.2.39(1)-release (i486-pc-linux-gnu)

    Hi, I am facing issue of the WCF Services on staging server. The same service is running perfectly in my local pc. But when i configured the same on staging server it is giving issue saying that: "The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel, cannot be used for communication, because it is in Faulted state."     I am about to create a new developer PC image for developing WPF applications using VS2010, WCF, SQL2008 and SharePoint2010. What OS should I opt for? Windows 7? Windows Server 2008 R2? I'd have thought Windows 7 to make sure that I have a similar experience during development as an end user, however I can't install SharePoint on a client OS and so thought about Windows Server 2008 R2 to help with the SharePoint development process. Thoughts?

    Hi I'm trying to develop a site for mobile phones. At the moment it seems to work on iphone and android htc desire and an n95. When I try it on an LG renoir instead of the page fitting the width of the screen the page displays at least twice as wide as it should meaning you can scroll left and right.     There might have been a restriction on originating (making) calls (voice or data) from mobile phones without an explicit user permission i.e. a window would pop-up, asking the user to press 'Yes'/approve or 'No'/cancel for a call attempt made by a software application on that cellphone/mobile. There seems though to exist API for making calls, voice calls and data calls, on various embedded OS like WM, Symbian and Android. Do they require a user button-press then?

  • Could it be that the stack size of a Web Service is smaller than that of a Window Application?

    Hi, I have a program that includes a recursive function. This function when executed in a Windows Application works just fine, and when used in a Webservice, it works fine when the webservice is initiated by the VS (it assigns a random port), but this function return a stackoverflow error when the webservice is published. (note that the machine used is the same, hence it is published on my pc). Could it be that the stack size of a Web Service is smaller than that of a Window Application?

    Is it possible to have a vb.net program sound the PC's internal speaker? you know the one that produces C's \a BELL I have tried beep(), but this only produces the error sound on the sound card.     I am importing SSIS packages to SQL Server 2008 that were originally built for SQL Server 2005. I upgraded them in VS2008 and them imported them. They all import and work except for the one with the Konesans File system Watcher task. I installed in the setup exe for Konesans File system Watcher SQL Server 2008 on my dev pc and the production server, but still get this error: Exception from HRESULT: 0xC0010026 (Microsoft.SqlServer.DTSRuntimeWrap) Any advice?
