    My "task" database table look like this: [title] [content] [start_date] [end_date] [...] [...] [01.06.2010 20:10:36] [06.06.2010 20:10:36] [...] [...] [05.06.2010 20:10:36] [06.06.2010 20:10:36] And I want to find only those records that meet the condition that a given day is between start_date and end_date. I've tried the following SQL expression: SELECT * FROM task WHERE strftime ('%d', 'start_date') <= @day AND @day <= strftime ('%d', 'end_date') Where @day is an SQLiteParameter (eq 5). But no result is returned. How can I solve this problem? Thanks.

    Hi, I am very new to using this wmd editor. In simple way, i am using this editor in my page using asp textbox with "wmd-input" class. It is perfectly behaving like a wmd editor. But when enter some data and do some formatting like bold, italic etc and read editor's content from server side, i can see that the data in plain text. Is there any way i can read the data in html formatted data? Thanks for your help.

  • How to scale an image (in data URI format) in JavaScript (real scaling, not using styling)

    We are capturing a visible tab in a Chrome browser (by using the extensions API chrome.tabs.captureVisibleTab) and receiving a snapshot in the data URI scheme (Base64 encoded string). Is there a JavaScript library that can be used to scale down an image to a certain size? Currently we are styling it via CSS, but have to pay performance penalties as pictures are mostly 100 times bigger than required. Additional concern is also the load on the localStorage we use to save our snapshots. Does anyone know of a way to process this data URI scheme formatted pictures and reduce their size by scaling them down?     Hi, I currently have an array, created from a database, an example of which looks like the following: Array( [0] => Array ( objectid => 2, name => title, value => apple ), [1] => Array ( objectid => 2, name => colour, value => red ), [2] => Array ( objectid => 3, name => title, value => pear ), [3] => Array ( objectid => 3, name => colour, value => green ) ) What I would like to do is group all the items in the array by their objectid, and convert the 'name' values into keys and 'value' values into values of an associative array....like below: Array ( [0] => Array ( objectid => 2, title => apple, colour => red ), [1] => Array ( objectid => 3, title => pear, colour => green ) ) I've tried a few things but haven't really got anywhere..     i cant for the life of me figure out how to change the date from default mm/dd/yyyy to the european dd/mm/yyyy the manual states to use: $.datepicker.formatDate('yy-mm-dd', new Date(2007, 1 - 1, 26)); so far i have: $('#next_date').datepicker(); which shows the calendar fine but im not sure where the first line of code goes. this for example disables the calendar, nothing shows up, no js errors reported $('#next_date').datepicker.formatDate('yy-mm-dd', new Date(2007, 1 - 1, 26));

    My problem is the page shows a vertical line of options. I want to put them into a 4 column table to display instead of just down lhs of page. For example, I could write: write(*,'(3f15.3,3f9.2)') x,y,z,(var(i),i=1,nvari) where nvari = 3 But, what if, in some cases, I actually have 4 variables (i.e. nvari = 4) I would like to write something like this: write(*,'(3f15.3,nvari(f9.2))') x,y,z,(var(i),i=1,nvari) Now, nvari can be anything and the output will work as I like. How can I make something like this work?

I would like to put periods so that report looks like: 1234 Robert Jones................... (234) 921-4922 1235 Jennifer Wilson................ (919) 582-2914 Is this possible to right-pad the text box with periods, or would I need to roll out some code to accomplish the above effect.   • Determining Excel spreadsheet format before Data Flow Task

    I'm working on an SSIS package which uses a for each loop to iterate through excel files in a directory and a data flow task to import them. The issue I'm having is that the project manager I'm working with doesn't think the users will always follow the structure. So if a file is in the folder and the package tries to import it but the spreadsheet is missing columns or has extra columns it generates and error of course. Even though I have the task set to not fail the package; the package does indeed fail and then the other files aren't imported. So, I'm wondering what is the easiest way to either determine the spreadsheet is incorrectly formatted, or stop the error from failing the package execution? After taking said step I would just use a file copy task to move the file to a "Failure" folder. Then continue on processing the spreadsheets.

It does not need to be customizable but it must be able to recognize statements separated by either semicolons or newlines since this code has both.   • erlang io:format, and a hanging web application

    While I'm learning a new language, I'll typically put lots of silly println's to see what values are where at specific times. It usually suffices because the languages typically have available a tostring equivalent. In trying that same approach with erlang, my webapp just "hangs" when there's a value attempted to be printed that's not a list. This happens when variable being printed is a tuple instead of a list. There's no error, exception, nothing... just doesn't respond. Now, I'm muddling through by being careful about what I'm writing out and as I learn more, things are getting better. But I wonder, is there a way to more reliably to [blindly] print a value to stdout? Thanks, --tim

    While trying to come-up with a servlet based application to read files and manipulate them (image type conversion) here is a question that came up to me: Is it possible to inspect a file content and know the filetype? Is there a standard that specifies that each file MUST provide some type of marker in their content so that the application will not have to rely on the file extension constraints? Consider an application scenario: I am creating an application that will be able to convert different file formats to a set of output formats. Say user uploads an PDF, my application can suggest that the possible conversion formats are microsoft word or TIFF or JPEG etc. As my application will gradually support different file formats (over a period of time), I want my application to inspect the input file instead of having the user to specify the format. And suggest to user the possible formats of output. I understand this is an open ended, broad question. Please let me know if it needs to be modified. Thanks, Ayusman

    MySQL stores the date in my database (by default) as 'YYYY-MM-DD' The field type for my date is 'DATE' (I do not need any time storage).. Is there a simple way to change it by default to DD/MM/YYYY ? I call up different dates in 2 different tables, and no where in any of my code do I have anything resembling a date variable or anything! Hopefully this is a straight forward change?
