  Been searching the FB documentation to find an answer for this, but have been unsuccessful. Is an application able to appear as a tab on a page/profile, and also in the sidebar of that same page/profile? So the tab would show the full application details, but the sidebar would give a small breakdown. Is this possible? Thanks!

I am aware that there are programs which extract the audio from .mp4's, but I am looking for another approach without using external applications such as those.. is there any direction that someone can point me towards to solve this problem?   I been searching how to use the single access token in Authlogic but there is no consistent documentation on the web. Anyone knows how it work? Presently, I have this: class UserSession < Authlogic::Session::Base single_access_allowed_request_types = :all end And been using this url: www.mysite.com/?user_credentials=xyz but it does not work and the CSRF protection (protect_from_forgery()) is in the way too. thanks,

• Why are there so many data centres in Texas?

  I've been searching for online hosting recently and have noticed a high concentration of hosting providers in Texas. Just wondering why this is? It couldn't be possibly be because of temperature (I don't think Texas is a particularly cool place to be) or maybe power is cheaper in Texas vs the rest of the States? Or maybe it's just there are laws in place which give hosting providers tax breaks? Would be very interested to find out.

Majority query on this table - searching documents similar to current document: select 10 documents with maximum of (count common to current document value)/(count ov values in document). Nowadays we use PostgreSQL. Table weight (with index) ~1,5 GB. Average query time ~0.5s. Should I transfer all this to NoSQL base, if so, what?

  Just wondering if there's anything out there to help make my project a lot easier to deal with. I'm working on a program that uses the Wiimote and infrared pen (mapped to the mouse) to manipulate images in real time and I'd much rather not have to use all my time figuring out how to make the program resize and rotate images efficiently with the least amount of distortion...   I downloaded the iFrameExtractor sample code and try to compile it with the iPhone simulator version 3.1.3 The project shows the following errors ( http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/3245/66948298.png ) even thought I added *.a libraries to my project. All libraries was under the library searching path. I guess it is a linking problem. Anyone can recommend to me a configuration for compiling ffmpeg on x86? Thanks in advance.

• Is it possible to transcode audio in C# using DirectSound?

  I want to transcode a lot of audio from its source format to PCM without resampling or messing with the sample size. I figure if Windows Media Player can play the file and it doesn't use a legacy ACM codecs it must be using DirectSound to do so (this is on Windows XP and Windows Server 2k3). So is it possible to access DirectSound from C# and do so? I've tried searching the web but all the examples have been about playback which I have no interest in doing.

  I can't find XamlPad anywhere after I installed .NET 4.0 / Visual Studio 2010 and Windows 7 SDK - v7.1. I tried searching C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.1\bin and did a dir /s xamlpad.exe to see if the Windows Index service didn't get to that folder yet. And it's not under Start Menu - All Programs - Windows SDK v7.1 -- Tools. Where has it gone? Did MS deprecate it? Thanks
