    I am trying to format currency that will always contain 2 decimal digits, but if there are extra digits of accuracy to display up to five. As an example: for value = 5.0 display: $5.00 for value = 5.023 display: $5.023 for value = 5.333333333333333 display: $5.33333 I have been playing with the .ToString() formatting, but I can't seem to find the right match of options. Clarification: I want to show from 2-5 decimals, truncating zeros after the second digit. for value = 5.000000000000000 display: $5.00 for value = 5.333333333333333 display: $5.33333

    I am sure antlr can solve my problem, but can't figure out how to implement it, even high level. I rapidly got caught into syntax problems of antlr itself. My grammar is quite simple and made of following tokens and rules. Don't really need to go in their details here. The evaluator resolves to expressions, which finally resolve to IDENT: evaluator : expression EOF! ; ... ... term : PARTICIPANT_TYPE(IDENT | '('! expression ')'! | max | min | if_ | NUMBER)+ ; Now, I would like to analyse and rewrite the 'term', so that IDENT tokens (and them only) get re-written with the PARTICIPANT_TYPE. All the others should simply remain the same.

  • PHP --> SQL Server + Excel file upload from a specific row

    I have a requirement in which, i need to upload an excel file into SQL Server database. It is working well till this point. But sometimes i am getting excel file in such a way, that the first 2 rows and columns are empty rows. That is not even fixed every time. so the format of the table after upload is not as expected. It is assigning F1, F2 as column names for the table in SQL Server. It varies from file to file. I want to program it in such away so that the user can enter the row number and the column number from where the actual data is starting. So that while upload it should from line 3 and column 2. I don't know how to specify that row and column while uploading. Please help me to solve the same.

    When doing recursive diffs I want to ignore expected differences/translations - is there a way to do that with standard unix tools? E.g. file1: 1 ... 2 /path/to/something/ver1/blah/blah 3 /path/to/something/ver1/blah/blah 4 ... file2: 1 ... 2 /path/to/something/ver2/blah/blah 3 /path/to/something/ver3/blah/blah 4 ... I want to be able to do something like: diff file1 file2 --ignore-transltion "ver1>ver2" This should show only show me that line 3 is different Does anyone know of a good way to do that? I can easily write a perl script to do it but i will end up re-implementing most of the rest of the functionality of 'diff'. Update: My goal is to run this on directories with different versions of the same files with "diff -r" so I can spot unexpected differences in versions.

My implementation need to re-execute the whole system again after one manipulation, and that is not efficient.     I'm creating a database so I can access names of people from a university. But I would like to create a registration ID for each person like 1012607, of which the first 2 numbers would be the year (11 for 2011) and the third digit would be the semester they registered (1 in the beginning of the year and 2 in the end of the year). The other 4 digits would be incremental. I don't know how to code a prefixed number in MySQL that can change only the last 4 digits and after a year change the first 2 digits every time you have a new registration.     I'm using custom tags to define sections in an application, so I have something like this: <mysection> <form> <input name="myfield"> </form> </mysection> I'm using the following and able to get the tag (printed to console, everything is groovy) var parent = document.getElementsByTagName('mysection'); The issue I'm having is finding the child field by name: var myfield = parent.getElementsByName("myfield"); ...as I don't want to pick up on any other 'sections' that might have an input with the name 'myfield'. EDIT: var parent = document.getElementsByTagName('mysection')[0]; was suggested and returns to console the section contents, however, getElementsByName throws an error: Uncaught TypeError: Object #<NodeList> has no method 'getElementsByName'
