    Hi all, Assume I have the following style table, col1 col2 and col3 have same value scopes, I want to select the records when two of the 3 columns have a value combination such as ('ab' and 'bc'), in the following example, the first 3 records should be selected.   • How can I pass in specific parameters to mstest in Visual Studio

    I'm trying to modify my test projuect to allow for remote invocation of an api we're building. Right now the tests are hard coded to run locally(against localhost), but I would like to be able to point the tests at any endpoint (even remote ones in production). Ideally there would be a place in the .testsettings for config values to be stored. Sadly this isn't the case. Or, being able to pass parameters to MSTest that the test would read...? Any ideas?     I need to match html tags(the whole tag), based on the tag name. For script tags I have this: <script.+src=.+(\.js|\.axd).+(</script>|>) It correctly matches both tags in the following html: <script src="Scripts/JScript1.js" type="text/javascript" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="Scripts/JScript2.js" /> However, when I do link tags with the following: <link.+href=.+(\.css).+(</link>|>) It matches all of this at once(eg it returns one match containing both items): <link href="Stylesheets/StyleSheet1.css" rel="Stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <link href="Stylesheets/StyleSheet2.css" rel="Stylesheet" type="text/css" /> What am I missing here? The regexes are essentially identical except for the text to match to? Also, I know that regex is not a great tool for HTML parsing...I will probably end up using the HtmlAgilityPack in the end, but this is driving me nuts and I want an answer if only for my own mental health!

    Hello, I have a requirement in which, i need to upload an excel file into MSSQL database. It is working well till this point. But sometimes i am getting excel file in such a way, that the first 2 rows and columns are empty rows. That is not even fixed everytime. so the format of the table after upload is not as expected. It is assigning F1, F2 as column names for the table in mssql. It varies from file to file. I want to program it in such away so that the user can enter the row number and the column number from where the actual data is starting. So that while upload it should from line 3 and column 2. I dont know how to specify that row and column while uploading. Please help me to solve the same.

  • Single C++/CLI method to wrap many type specific C functions

    I am wrapping a C library using C++/CLI so that the C library can be used easily from C# in a C#'ish way. Some of the functions in this library are for putting a value into a container. There are no generics in C so there exists a function per type CLIB_SetBool(BOOL value), CLIB_SetInt(int value), CLIB_SetString(char* string) and so on. To make it easier to use from C#, I have created a single Set function which takes a System::Object. I have two related questions: With my method how would you use a switch statement on the type of System::Object to call the correct CLIB_Setxxxx function. [typeid is only for unmanaged code and I can't seem to use GetType.] Is there a better way to wrap these functions like using a Generic? [I started using template specialisation but then realised that C# doesn't see templates.] Thanks.

    I'm looking to extract values from a whole load of html (i've just trimmed down to the relevant data), there are multiple 'select' elements, and only want to extract those who's 'name' element matches the name 'aMembers'.     Hello, I have this string that may contain some urls that I need to grab. For instance, if the user does: www.youtube ... or www.vimeo ... or http://www.youtube ... or HttP://WwW.viMeo I need to grab it (until he finds a space perhaps). and store it on a already created array. The need is to separate the vimeo links from the youtube ones and place each of those on the appropriate video object. I'm not sure if this is possible, I mean, if the URL coming from the browser could be used to be placed on a predefined video object. If it is, then this is the way to go (so I believe). If all this is feasible, can I have your help in order to build such a rule? Thanks in advance

  • Pass off execution to different/specific thread in Java

    I have about 4 threads. One thread keeps checking some data that the other thread is updating. The others are doing some processing in the background. All have been started at this point. My question is when the checking thread sees that the data has not been updated yet I currently sleep for a little bit but is there any way for me to tell the system to back to executing the thread that does the updating? That or is there any way I can put something like a listener on the data(a String) and once its updated an event will fire that will do what it needs to do? I tried using yield() and it seemed to just keep returning to the thread I called yield() from. Thanks

    There are often times I'll grep -l whatev file to find what I'm looking for. Say the output is 1234: whatev 1 5555: whatev 2 6643: whatev 3 If I want to then just extract the lines between 1234 and 5555, is there a tool to do that? For static files I have a script that does wc -l of the file and then does the math to split it out with tail & head but that doesn't work out so well with log files that are constantly being written to.

    I am trying to format currency that will always contain 2 decimal digits, but if there are extra digits of accuracy to display up to five. As an example: for value = 5.0 display: $5.00 for value = 5.023 display: $5.023 for value = 5.333333333333333 display: $5.33333 I have been playing with the .ToString() formatting, but I can't seem to find the right match of options.     I have a very big list of file names that end with a the following: .c .h .cpp and much more. I need to extract file names that end with .c and .h How do I do that? Also, how could I add quotation marks to the beginning and end of the word, followed with a comma? For example, if I have this in the list: mi_var.c How could I extract it from a very big list, and everything else that ends in .c and replace it to have quotation marks and a comma at the end? Like this: "mi_var.c", I'm new to this, any help is greatly appreciated.
