  Hi! Could you please help me to figure out how to bring Opera's window to front, using class name?! I use the following procedure to bring other applications to front and it works fine. I need to use only a class name and not window's caption. If I use window caption instead, the procedure works. • WPF: In Expression Blend, how to change Foreground of a custom button with a Border on different states?

  In Expression Blend 4, I want to change the Foreground of a custom button on different states. I'm just able to change the Background and BorderBrush. Just like this: If the state is "Normal", the color of text "Button" is Black, while the state is "Pressed", the color of text "Button" is White. On Brushes Panel under Properties Panel, there're 3 properties but no Foreground property: Who can help me? I'm so perplexed. Edit I find ContentControl have a Foreground property, but ContentPresenter haven't. Wether I should use ContentControl instead of ContentPresenter?

• Place GWT application on Jetty

  Can someone help me to place my GWT application on Jetty. I am not using maven. I have libraries in my build path. First I am taking the war folder already exploded and copy it in jetty/webapps, then in folder context. • Excel 2007 - combination of If and vlookup formula

  i have a cell that refer to more than 1 worksheet and display the result (value) when it found the product from the 2 sheets. SheetA has 2 columns which column A is the value and column B is that product name, SheetB only has product name. • Is there a way to include commas in CSV columns without breaking the formatting?

  I've got a two column CSV with a name and a number. Some people's name use commas, for example "Joe Blow, CFA." This comma breaks the CSV format, since it's interpreted as a new column. I've read up and the most common prescription seems to be replacing that character, or replacing the delimiter, with a new value (e.g. "this|that|the, other"). I'd really like to keep the comma separator (I know excel supports other delimiters but other interpreters may not). I'd also like to keep the comma in the name, as "Joe Blow| CFA" looks pretty silly. Is there a way to include commas in CSV columns without breaking the formatting, for example by escaping them?

  I have a dynamic class that I have created public dynamic class SiteZoneFileUploadVO { public var destination:String = "sitezone"; public var siteZoneId:uint; public var fileType:String; public var fileContents:String; public function SiteZoneFileUploadVO() { } } when I try to iterate over this object's property names it only iterates the dynamically added properties. parameters.dynVar= "value"; for(var name:String in parameters) { trace(name); } Even though the object has all the properties equal to a value (ive checked this in the debugger) the only property name that will be traced is dynVar. How can I iterate over all the property names and not just the dynamically added ones?

• Custom CSS menu, "Active" tab remains on 'Home' not the actual page

  I created this custom css menu, but when switching tabs, the "Active" tab design remains on the 'Home' link on the menu, rather than the actual page I'm on. Any idea how I an fix this? • Are `return` and `break` useless inside a Ruby block when used as a callback?

  In Rails, blocks can be used as callbacks, e.g.: class User < ActiveRecord::Base validates_presence_of :login, :email before_create {|user| user.name = user.login.capitalize if user.name.blank?} end When a block is used like this, is there any use for break and return? I'm asking because normally in a block, break will break out of the loop, and return will return from the enclosing method. But in a callback context, I can't get my head round what that means. The Ruby Programming Language suggests that return could cause a LocalJumpError but I haven't been able to reproduce this in a Rails callback. Edit: with the following code I'd expect a LocalJumpError, but all the return does is stop the rest of the callback executing. class User < ActiveRecord::Base validates_presence_of :login, :email before_create do |user| return user.name = user.login.capitalize end

  I have an array of objects that looks like this: [{ name: 'test', size: 0, type: 'directory', path: '/storage/test' }, { name: 'asdf', size: 170, type: 'directory', path: '/storage/test/asdf' }, { name: '2.txt', size: 0, type: 'file', path: '/storage/test/asdf/2.txt' }] There could be any number of arbitrary path's, this is the result of iterating through files and folders within a directory. What I'm trying to do is determine the 'root' node of these. Ultimately, this will be stored in mongodb and use materialized path to determine it's relationships. In this example, /storage/test is a root with no parent. /storage/test/asdf has the parent of /storage/test which is the parent to /storage/test/asdf/2.txt. My question is, how would you go about iterating through this array, to determine the parent's and associated children? Any help in the right direction would be great! Thank you

• git merge specifies wrong author

  I have a problem with latest version of git i compiled under cygwin. At first, it displays editor to enter merge message. Previously, it went sailent. And then commit author seems to be different from normal commit. When I do manual commit, author is User Name <[email protected]>, but when I do merge author name is Domain\username <[email protected].name.com> Is there a way to make merge to specify the same auther as for manual commit? What's happening?

• Where is the best place to label a server?

  There isn't much room on server chassis and I'm wondering where a label with the servers name should go? Is there any other information in addition to the name that should go on the label? Does it make sense to label each hard drive in a server or is that not necessary? There certainly is overkill, when I worked at Big Blue labeling was a huge source of bureaucracy, even a projector needed to be labelled and have it's whereabouts routinely reported.

• DNS MX record workaround

  I use a tk domain name and another web host to host my blog site. I redirect DNS query to xxxhost.[myhost].com and tell my web host my domain name. (since my web host is virtual one) This works OK. But now I want to use an email service provided by third party, which requires adding a MX record to my DNS service. But this cannot be done on my web host management pages. Is there any workaround for this?

• Hashing and salting values

  I am developing a small web app that internally authenticates users. Once the user is authenticated my web app then passes some information such as userID and Person's name to a third party web application. The third party developer is suggesting that we hash and salt the values. Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly does that mean? I am writing the app in Java. So what I am planning on doing is hashing the userID, Person's name, and some Math.random() value as the salt with Apache Commons Digest Utils SHA512 and passing that hashed string along with the userID and person's name. Is that the standard practice? I should be passing the third party the salt as well correct?

  Could you guys help me figuring out QuadCurveTo's 4 parameters , I tried to find information on http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/scene/shape/QuadCurveTo.html, but it's hard for me to understand without picture , I search on google about 'Quadratic Bezier' but it shows me more than 2 coordinates, I'm confused and blind now.   I'm using sql server 2008 R2 and would like to apply unique key constraint to nullable columns. This code works good, but if I have multiple columns to add this rule to, it would generate as many 'nullbuster' columns. ALTER TABLE tblBranch ADD nullbuster AS (CASE WHEN column1 IS NULL THEN BranchID ELSE NULL END); CREATE UNIQUE INDEX UK_Column1 ON tblBranch(column1,nullbuster); tblBranch is the table name, nullbuster would be the new column name, BranchId is the Primary key column of the target table, and Column1 is the column name of the target column. Is there any way that I could achieve the goal without generating new columns.
