I'm trying to display on a web page database records related to files, which was saved in MySQL database. All works fine if a volume of data is small. But the volume of data is big I'm recieving an error "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" I've tried to write in blobFields null values on each row of table. In this case, application works fine, memory doesn't go out of. I have a conclusion that the blob field which is marked as lazy (@Basic(fetch=FetchType.LAZY)) isn't lazy, actually! • Windows Phone 7 Connect to SharePoint via SOAP

  I am making my second application for the Windows 7 Phone Series platform and I cannot seem to connect to a SharePoint server using https. 99% of the following is not my code. I have borrowed it from http://blog.daisley-harrison.com/blog/post/Practical-Silverlight-and-SharePoint-Integration-Part-Two.aspx untill I can further understand how SOAP works in W7P Series. I know that I need some way of sending credentials over but the win 7 API does not seem to let you. If you dig down into the error output it says access is denied. I have tried various methods of sending credentials but none seem to work. "ClientCredentials.Windows" is not supported and ClientCredentials.UsersName.Username is read only.

• NHibernate IUserType convert nullable DateTime to DB not-null value

  I have legacy DB that store dates that means no-date as 9999-21-31, The column Till_Date is of type DateTime not-null="true". in the application i want to build persisted class that represent no-date as null, So i used nullable DateTime in C# //public DateTime? TillDate {get; set; } I created IUserType that knows to convert the entity null value to DB 9999-12-31 but it seems that NHibernate doesn't call SafeNullGet, SafeNullSet on my IUserType when the entity value is null, and report a null is used for not-null column. I tried to by-pass it by mapping the column as not-null="false" (changed only the mapping file, not the DB) but it still didn't help, only now it tries to insert the null value to the DB and get ADOException. Any knowledge if NHibernate doesn't support IUseType that convert null to not-null values?   I'm suppose to develop an automated application for my project, it will load past-year examination/exercises paper (word file), detect the sections accordingly, extract the questions and images in that section, and then store the questions and images into the database. (Preview of the question paper is at the bottom of this post) So I need some suggestions on how to extract data from a word file, then inserting them into a database. Currently I have a few methods to do so, however I have no idea how I could implement them when the file contains textboxes with background image. The question has to link with the image. • NHibernate Mapping and Querying Where Tables are Related But No Foreign Key Constraint

  I'm fairly new to NHibernate, and I need to ask a couple of questions relating to a very frequent scenario. The following simplified example illustrates the problem. I have two tables named Equipment and Users. Users is a set of system administrators. Equipment is a set of machinery. Tables: Users table has UserId int and LoginName nvarchar(64). Equipment table has EquipId int, EquipType nvarchar(64), UpdatedBy int. Behavior: System administrators can make changes to Equipment, and when they do, the UpdatedBy field of Equipment is "normally" set to their User Id. Users can be deleted at any time. New Equipment items have an UpdatedBy value of null. There's no foreign key constraint on Equipment.UpdatedBy which means: Equipment.UpdatedBy can be null. Equipment.UpdatedBy value can be = existing User.UserId value Equipment.UpdatedBy value can be = non-existent User.UserId value To find Equipment and who last updated the Equipment, I might query like this: select E.EquipId, E.EquipName, U.UserId, U.LoginName from Equipment E left outer join Users U on. E.UpdatedBy = U.UserId Simple enough. So how to do that in NHibernate? If I can tell NHibernate to do the query in one hit, how do I do that? Time is of the essence on my project, so any help you could provide is gratefully received. • wave.getState() returns null

  When trying to call wave.getState() in my Google Wave gadget, I get back null (no state object). How can I initialize the Wave state object? I am working in the Wave Sandbox. My ModulePrefs contains the following: <Require feature="wave" /> <Require feature="rpc"/> I got the "rpc" feature from some google groups post when searching for a fix, but it doesn't seem to be any help. I have verified that the initializer method is called, and the view/edit mode switch works just fine (except the state is null). When I click on the new button link (the link at the bottom in edit mode), and trigger the newButtonClick handler, I get an error because wave.getState() also returns null. How can I initialize the wave state so that I can work with it? The purpose of my gadget will be to keep track of combat initiative order in a Shadowrun tabletop game (4th Ed). • developing maven plugin, how to exclude bitkeeper files

  Hi There, I am trying to write my first maven plugin. I'd like to exclude all the java files related to the source repository I'm using, which is BitKeeper. These files live in directories called SCCS. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this. When I add the maven-compile-plugin with excludes data, it works (the bk files are excluded) if I specify mvn compiler:compile. But this is not binding to the compile phase. So that when I run mvn compile, it blows up trying to compile a source control specific java file. Any help or pointers appreciated. Another thing to note: Everything works perfectly if I change the packaging from "maven-plugin" to "jar", which of course, I can't do permanently since this is a maven plugin I am trying to write. I'm sorry if this is answered elsewhere. I've looked around for several hours here and through the maven docs, but everything on this topic seems to be related to writing code which will be packaged in jars, not maven plugins. • Seemingly simple skinning problem in Flex4; style gives disco effect

  I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. Simple project in flex4, whereby I create a skinned combobox (fragments at end). If I turn on the 3 skin references (over-skin, up-skin, down-skin), the combobox appears to simply stop working. If I remove the up-skin, hovering over the combo produces a flickering effect, where it appears to apply the style, then remove it immediately. I get the same thing with a button instead of a combo.   Hi guys, I was just wondering if Android had built in code so that I could select multiple images in a gallery-view and then have those images exported as filenames in a string array(ex /sdcard/~f1.jpg, /sdcard/~f2.jpg,...). The only thing I guess is that the svg generated by Raphael JS is not well formated for canvg (like, href of image should be xlink:href if I follow the W3C recommandations ) Anyone got an idea on this problem ? :D

• Android Augmented Reality

  I'm working on my first Android Augmented Reality application. The application works pretty good if the ARActivity runs as the first class (android.intent.category.LAUNCHER) in the manifest file. But when I added a splash screen which means the ARActivity will be the second to run(android.intent.category.DEFAULT), the camera seems not detecting the marker. I believe the problem is all in the manifest file. Any suggestions ?   When I try to findViewById() on my custom view I keep getting a ClassCastException. I've tried so many things that I'm sure I've botched the code now! To make sure I'm not going insane I stripped down the classes to their bare minimum inorder to find what was wrong. I'm new to android programming and I'm sure I'm missing something basic. • Mono-LibreOffice System.TypeLoadException

  In the past I wrote a C# library to work with OpenOffice and this worked fine both in Windows than under Ubuntu with Mono. Part of this library is published here as accepted answer. In these days I discovered that Ubuntu decided to move to LibreOffice, so I tried my library with LibreOffice latest stable release. While under Windows it's working perfectly, under Linux I receive this error: Unhandled Exception: System.TypeLoadException: A type load exception has occurred. [ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.TypeLoadException: A type load exception has occurred. Usually Mono tells us which library can't load, so I can install correct package and everything is OK, but in this case I really don't know what's going bad. I'm using Ubuntu oneiric and my library is compiled with Framework 4.0. Under Windows I had to write this into app.config: <?xml version="1.0"?> <configuration> <startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true"> <supportedRuntime version="v4.0" sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.0,Profile=Client"/> </startup> </configuration> because LibreOffice assemblies uses Framework 2.0 (I think). How can I find the reason of this error to solve it? Thanks UPDATE: Even compiling with Framework 2.0 problem (as expected) is the same. Problem (I think) is that Mono is not finding cli-uno-bridge package (installable on previous Ubuntu releases and now marked as superseded), but I cannot be sure.   I'm trying to get some code I was passed up and running. It appears to use the Hibernate framework. I've gotten past most of the errors tweaking the configuration, but this one has me dead stumped. It's trying to connect to two databases: gameapp and gamelog. Both exist. It seems to have issues connecting to gamelog, but none connecting to gameapp (later in the init, it connects to and loads other DBs just fine). Below, I've pasted the error and exception stack dump. I imaging there's something else in the configs, so I've also included the configuration file for that db.   I have two entities, a User and Role with a one-to-many relationship from user to role. I changed the relationship to use eager loading and then the following query is made in addition to the above: select roles0_.User_id as User1_1_, roles0_.roles_id as roles2_1_, role1_.id as id9_0_, role1_.description as descript2_9_0_, role1_.name as name9_0_, role1_.summary as summary9_0_ from User_Role roles0_ left outer join Role role1_ on roles0_.roles_id=role1_.id where roles0_.User_id=?
