  • Windows Mobile 6.5 modern GUI development

    - by dominolog
Hello How to approach a modern GUI development in Windows Mobile 6.5. I can see in .NET CF 2.0/3.5 only legacy common controls, no alpha blended controls, no fading etc. Comparing to Android or Symbian, Windows Mobile 6.5 look-a-like of applications is very elderly. Is there support for WPF in Windows Mobile 6.5? Thanks and Regards Dominik

  • No Matching Function Error for inserting into a list in c++

    - by Josh Curren
    I am getting an error when I try to insert an item into a list (in C++). The error is that there is no matching function for call to the insert(). I also tried push_front() but got the same error. Here is the error message: main.cpp:38: error: no matching function for call to ‘std::list<Salesperson, std::allocator<Salesperson> >::insert(Salesperson&)’ /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/4.3.4/include/c++/bits/list.tcc:99: note: candidates are: std::_List_iterator<_Tp> std::list<_Tp, _Alloc>::insert(std::_List_iterator<_Tp>, const _Tp&) [with _Tp = Salesperson, _Alloc = std::allocator<Salesperson>] /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/4.3.4/include/c++/bits/stl_list.h:961: note: void std::list<_Tp, _Alloc>::insert(std::_List_iterator<_Tp>, size_t, const _Tp&) [with _Tp = Salesperson, _Alloc = std::allocator<Salesperson>] Here is the code: #include <stdlib.h> #include <iostream> #include <fstream> #include <string> #include <list> #include "Salesperson.h" #include "Salesperson.cpp" #include "OrderedList.h" #include "OrderedList.cpp" using namespace std; int main(int argc, char** argv) { cout << "\n------------ Asn 8 - Sales Report ------------" << endl; list<Salesperson> s; int id; string fName, lName; int numOfSales; string year; std::ifstream input("Sales.txt"); while( !std::getline(input, year, ',').eof() ) { input >> id; input >> lName; input >> fName; input >> numOfSales; Salesperson sp = Salesperson( id, fName, lName ); s.insert( sp ); //THIS IS LINE 38 ************************** for( int i = 0; i < numOfSales; i++ ) { double sale; input >> sale; sp.sales.insert( sale ); } } cout << endl; return (EXIT_SUCCESS); }

  • How do you automatically remove the preview window after autocompletion in Vim?

    - by Ben Davini
I'm using omnifunc=pythoncomplete. When autocompleting a word (e.g., os.), I get the list of eligible class members and functions, as expected, as well as a scratch buffer preview window with documentation about the selected member or function. This is great, but after selecting the function I want, the preview window remains. I can get rid of it with ":pc", but I'd like it just to automatically disappear after I've selected my function, a la Eclipse. I've played around with "completeopt" but to no avail.

  • Does EGit mandate installing JGit?

    - by Souper
After using Git from the command line for a while, I am ready for the convenience a GUI plugin (for Eclipse) can offer. However, I prefer a Git plugin similar to to MS Visual Studio's Git Source Control Provider which is only a wrapper around the already installed msysgit. I really don't want two different Git implementations accessing the same repository. EGit sounds perfect - if it can use the already installed msysgit in my PC. But can it?

  • Is there any way to identify a unique user in Flash/Actionscript 3?

    - by VGambit
I'm trying to make a vote/poll application in Flash using Actionscript 3. Is there any way to generate a specific ID that is unique to each user? The only other option I can think of is using the IP address, which is less than ideal in many cases (college campuses, shared Internet access, etc.). It needs to be the same number every time it is run on the same PC, but different for each user.

  • UIFileSharingEnabled use folders

    - by Ali Shafai
I want to allow users add files to the application document folder, so I used the iTunes file sharing. The problem is they can only add single files with a flat structure. I want to drag and drop whole folder (even with sub folders) and keep the structure. Questions I have: is it possible with iTunes file sharing? if not, is there an open source project that helps me with writing a pc side app that talks to the iPhone side app and pushes the files into it?

  • HTML5 Offline Storage on iPad and iPhone BUG

    - by scaraveos
Hello everyone, I created a manifest file with 1000 items. Safari, Mozilla browsers are saving the files offline successfully and even Android saves the files correctly offline. On iPad and iPhone when I am trying to save more than 300 items in some point the applicationCache returns "error". When I am trying to save less (e.x.: 200) it saves the files correctly and the applicationCache returns "cached". Any ideas? Thank you.

  • What is the easiest to transfer an object between two C# apps over the web?

    - by edude05
I have written an application that basically gathers up a bunch of text and numerical data from the client PC and stores it as an object. Right now I'm implementing XML serialization so that the file can be saved. The issue is now, how do I get this data to the server? I have a server running IIS 7 setup but I don't quite understand the ASP.net life cycle, so I'm not sure how to implement the receiving app. What should I do? Thanks
