• Is there a Netbeans equivalent to Eclipse's Workspace

  I enjoy using Netbeans, especially for development with Maven, however, I've found recently that I've been working with three different branches of the same code base in different parts of the development cycle. One of the things that Eclipse can do, is separate the projects into different workspaces, so i can simply start Eclipse with the workspace containing my Maven projects in the production patch branch or the trunk depending upon what I need to be working on. I'd love to accomplish this in Netbeans, but haven't found a way to do so. Any ideas?

  What is Logically correct and W3C valid way to clear float? zoom:1 is not valid by W3C and IE8 don't have hash layout problem overflow:hidden and overflow:hidden were not made to do this,as the spec intended overflow to be used <div class="clear"/> is not semantically correct and i don't want to add extra markup. clearfix hack generates content that really hasn’t any semantic value. Then every few minutes/hours/days I do a serious checkin with a real comment like, "Fixed bug #22.55, 3rd time." How can I separate these two concepts?   If your controller action looks like this: respond_to do |format| format.html { raise 'Unsupported' } format.js # index.js.erb end and your functional test looks like this: test "javascript response..." do get :index end it will execute the HTML branch of the respond_to block. If you try this: test "javascript response..." do get 'index.js' end it executes the view (index.js.erb) withOUT running the controller action!

  I sometimes check out some previous version of the code to examine or test. I have seen instructions on what to do if I wish to modify previous commits -- but suppose I make no changes. After I've done e.g. git checkout HEAD^, how do I get back to the tip of the branch?.. git log no longer shows me the SHA of the latest commit.
