  Hi everybody, I know the attribute which makes the text "disapear" on the left part of the Edittext to maintain a single line, (singleLine="true"). Btu my issue is when I fill the edittext before the view is displayed... in this case, my edittexts are all going out of the screen... any ideas? thx

  I'm creating a child window within the main window. I assigned these styles to the child window: WS_CHILDWINDOW | WS_VISIBLE | WS_VSCROLL | WS_HSCROLL | WS_SIZEBOX | WS_CAPTION The child window I get has a caption and a resizable border. However there's no close button in the caption, and the caption/border of the child window is not transparent (I'm using the aero theme in windows 7). • Texturing Issue when Overlaying images onto Camera preview SurfaceView

  I am in the process of making an augmented reality application and I have successfully overlaid a 3d cube over a camera surface view. The Issue now is when I add a Texture the cube then flickers(with the texture on it) and disappears leaving the camera preview upon further research i discovered that the cube with the texture was disappearing behind the Camera preview. My Question is has anyone else had this issue and if yes what approach did you take to solve this. Heres another strange Issue when i take a print screen the cube is on-top of the camera Preview

• Why is png file looks different in firefox?

  If you take screen shot this web page in different browser, you'd see that it displays slightly different in firefox. (7.01, ubuntu) At first I thought it was because of color profile, but even if I turned on color management in firefox, the problem is still there. Although it's not a very noticeable problem, I got a perfectionist boss who asked to make it look exactly the same in every browser. Does any one know what might have caused the problem? Thanks!

  In my application I'm dynamically adding new TdxBarSubItems based off of a SQL query. In some cases the result set is rather large so the menu fills the entire screen and sometimes has a down arrow to scroll the list. In a previous version of the code before switching to Dev Express, I was able to add TMenuBreak objects to make the list divide into columns. Is there a way to do this with Dev Express components?

  I have an array of CGPoints, and I'd like to fill the whole screen with colours, the colour of each pixel depending on the total distance to each of the points in the array. The natural way to do this is to, for each pixel, compute the total distance, and turn that into a colour. Questions follow: 1) How can I colour a single pixel in Quartz? • Is it reasonable to use OpenGL for desktop applications?

  I've been writing a small desktop gadget-type application that displays scrolling text along the bottom of the screen (Similar to the old CNN news ticker), however the performance of GDI is just unsatisfactory (As high as 8-12% on a quad core and 20% on a single core) even after I've attempted to clean out bottlenecks. I was considering using OpenGL instead to render everything, but I don't know if that is a reasonable option to require users to have hardware acceleration for a tiny app like this. Does anybody have any input on this?
