  Hello everyone, How can I assert a fact into a file without deleting the previous fact? In the following line, when I execute it twice, the second fact overwrites the first fact: tell('animal.txt'),write(Animal),nl,told. But when I use assert or assertz it will do nothing.   I've seen this before, but I just can't find it. I am writing a resume and want to include the articles from my bibtex file. If I write \cite{FOO} then they all appear at the end. I know that there is some way to say \something{FOO} and the FOO reference appears here. Basically, I want this section of my CV to look like: \something{FOO1} \something{FOO2} What is the \something? Thanks.

I guess I am looking for something similar to django's South framework here. given the fact that South is tightly coupled with django's ORM, and the fact that there's so many ORMs for MS SQL I guess having just a generic migration framework, enabling you to write and execute in controlled and sequential manner SQL data/schema change scripts should be sufficient.   I just installed Dynamics CRM 4.0. It is working nicely except for workflows. They won't start. I turned on tracing and it appears that there is an IO error. The server is setup with IFD and SSL. No issues accessing it internally or externally.   It is simple to implement a port mapper using bufferevent_* functions of libevent. However, the documentation states that "This file descriptor is not allowed to be a pipe(2)". Will libevent work correctly if I shutdown the socket in one direction shutdown(socket, SHUT_WR);? I expect it to discard remaining data in the buffer and not write there anymore, but continue reading from socket and calling a read handler.

  Is it possible (on iPhone/iPod Touch) for a file written like this: if (FILE* file = fopen(filename, "wb")) { fwrite(buf, buf_size, 1, file); fclose(file); } to get corrupted, e.g. when app is forced to terminate? From what I know fwrite should be an atomic operation, so when I write whole file with one instruction no corruption should occure. I could not find any information on the net that would say otherwise.
