    - by abhishek
I want combobox displayfield value with hyperlink. The selected combobox value should display with a hyperlink, if I click that selected combobox value then it will open in a new tab. var multiComboMap = Ext.create('Ext.form.field.ComboBox', { fieldLabel: 'Select multiple states', renderTo: 'combo-map', multiSelect: true, //disabled: true, displayField:'locationMap', valueField:'locationId', id:'combo-map', width: 500, labelWidth: 130, emptyText: 'To view map select it', store: Ext.create('Ext.data.Store', //get data for the combobox { fields: [ { name: 'locationId', type: 'int' },{ name: 'locationName', type: 'string' },{ name: 'locationMap', type: 'string' } ], proxy: { type: 'ajax', //url: '../data/users.asp', url: '/AOP_MEETING/venueMaster.json', reader: { type: 'json', root: 'venueMasterc' } }, autoLoad: true }), triggerAction:'all', mode:'local', typeAhead: true, lastQuery:'' }); Thanks in advance.

  • Drupal CCK Text field not saving.

    - by Mark Milbourne
Hey Guys, I've been trying to write a CCK Field based on the Text field. But if I create a standard CCK Text field with only 1 value. Then edit a content item for this type, the values are never persisted. When I go back in and edit the same node, the value isn't there. I checked the database and its not in the table for the CCK node. If I use more than one value it works fine. I'm upto date on CCK (6.x-2.6) and CTools (6.x-1.5). Has anyone seen this? and a possible solution?

  • Delete all previous records and insert new ones

    - by carlos
    When updating an employee with id = 1 for example, what is the best way to delete all previous records in the table certificate for this employee_id and insert the new ones?. create table EMPLOYEE ( id INT NOT NULL auto_increment, first_name VARCHAR(20) default NULL, last_name VARCHAR(20) default NULL, salary INT default NULL, PRIMARY KEY (id) ); create table CERTIFICATE ( id INT NOT NULL auto_increment, certificate_name VARCHAR(30) default NULL, employee_id INT default NULL, PRIMARY KEY (id) ); Hibernate mapping <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <!DOCTYPE hibernate-mapping PUBLIC "-//Hibernate/Hibernate Mapping DTD//EN" "http://www.hibernate.org/dtd/hibernate-mapping-3.0.dtd"> <hibernate-mapping> <class name="Employee" table="EMPLOYEE"> <id name="id" type="int" column="id"> <generator class="sequence"> <param name="sequence">employee_seq</param> </generator> </id> <set name="certificates" lazy="false" cascade="all"> <key column="employee_id" not-null="true"/> <one-to-many class="Certificate"/> </set> <property name="firstName" column="first_name"/> <property name="lastName" column="last_name"/> <property name="salary" column="salary"/> </class> <class name="Certificate" table="CERTIFICATE"> <id name="id" type="int" column="id"> <param name="sequence">certificate_seq</param> </id> <property name="employee_id" column="employee_id" insert="false" update="false"/> <property name="name" column="certificate_name"/> </class> </hibernate-mapping>

  • PHP - How can I check if return() was called from an include()'d file?

    - by John Himmelman
    How can I tell if return() was called from within the included file. The problem is that include() returns 'int 1', even if return() wasn't called. Here is an example... included_file_1.php <?php return 1; included_file_2.php <?php echo 'no return here, meep'; main.php <?php $ret = include('included_file_1.php'); // This file DID return a value, int 1, but include() returns this value even if return() wasn't called in the included file. if ($ret === 1) { echo 'file did not return anything'; } var_dump($ret); $ret = include('included_file_2.php'); // The included file DID NOT return a value, but include() returns 'int 1' if ($ret === 1) { echo 'file did not return anything'; } var_dump($ret);

  • Why is this CustomValidator client function not firing?

    - by xaisoft
I have a dropdown with the Id of "BACKGROUND" and if nothing is selected or the value is other, it should fire my client side validation function, but it is not. Am I missing something? I have the following client side function: function cv26(oSrc, args) {//BACKGROUND,BG_OTHER alert("cv26"); var otherCtrl = document.getElementById("BG_OTHER"); args.IsValid = (args.Value != " ") || (otherCtrl.value.length > 0); } My Custom validator looks like this: <asp:CustomValidator ID="cv26" runat="server" ErrorMessage="26. Background is required." ControlToValidate="BACKGROUND" ClientValidationFunction="cv26" Display="Dynamic" ValidateEmptyText="true">*</asp:CustomValidator>

  • C# Reflection - How can I tell if object o is of type KeyValuePair and then cast it?

    - by Logan
Hi All I'm currently trying to write a Dump() method from LinqPad equivalent iin C# for my own amusment. I'm moving from Java to C# and this is an exercise rather than a business requirement. I've got almost everything working except for Dumping a Dictionary. The problem is that KeyValuePair is a Value type. For most other Value types I simply call the ToString method but this is insufficient as the KeyValuePair may contain Enumerables and other objects with undesirable ToString methods. So I need to work out if it's a KeyValuePair and then cast it. In Java I could use wildcard generics for this but I don't know the equivalent in C#. Your quest, given an object o, determine if it's a KeyValuePair and call Print on its key and value. Print(object o) { ... } Thanks!

  • jQuery: How to collect values from sliders into simple object with id as keys

    - by Svish
I have several jQuery UI Sliders and I want to collect their values. Thought it would be a simple task, but when I was going to do it I got stuck and not quite sure what to do anymore :p The object I would like to end up with should look something like this: { a: 80, b: 90, c: 20, ... } I can do it manually like this: var values = { a: $('#a').slider('value'), b: $('#b').slider('value'), c: $('#c').slider('value'), ... }; But that's a bit tedious, especially if I need to add or remove or rename. Was hoping I could do something with the map or each function or something like that, but I can't figure it out. Anyone have some clever ideas?

  • C# Date Time Picker to Text?

    - by user3691826
Im trying to get a text from a file into date format for a label. What i currently have works great for a DateTimePicker however im wanting to now use a label to display the date rather than a DateTimePicker. This is what currently works when getting the value to a DateTimePicker: dateTimeMFR.Value = this.myKeyVault.MFRDate; and this is what im attempting to make work in a label: DateTimePicker myDate = new DateTimePicker(); myDate.Value = myKeyVault.MFRDate; txtMFR.Text = myDate.Text; Thanks for any help on the matter.

  • Handling Denormalized Schema with Eclipselink

    - by iamrohitbanga
Hello All I have a denormalized table containing employee information. The fields are employee id, name and department name. The primary key is a composite one consisting of all three fields. An employee can belong to multiple departments. I want to read/write the objects in the table using the Eclipselink Dynamic Persistence API (which is infact a wrapper on top of JPA descriptors etc.). Example Data: 1 e1 dep1 2 e1 dep2 3 e2 dep1 4 e2 dep3 5 e3 dep1 5 e3 dep2 5 e3 dep3 A normal ReadAllQuery (select query) on the table returns a DynamicEntity corresponding to each row in the table. However I want to club all entities based on the emp id and return all the departments he belongs to as a list. I can merge the entities after retrieving them but if I can use some Eclipselink feature out of the box then it would be better. One way to do the read is the following: I create two dynamic types corresponding to employee: Having id,name as the primary key Having id, department as the primary key, I create a OneToManyMapping from the first type to the second one. Then when I query the first type it does return the departments to which employee belongs as a list of DynamicEntity of the second type. This satisfies the read scenario. Is there a better way of doing this? Is this inherently supported by Eclipselink or JPA? I cannot get the same dynamic type configuration working for the write scenario. This is because when I write the changes using the writeObject method of UnitOfWork, it generates insert queries which enter the following entries in the table id name department 102 emp_102 102 st 102 dep_102 102 dep_102 102 dep_102 instead of: id name department 102 emp_102 st 102 emp_102 dep_102 102 emp_102 dep_102 102 emp_102 dep_102 Is there any way I can get write to work with this schema using eclipselink? I want to avoid doing the heavy lifting of merging the rows for such a denormalized schema or generating each row before doing a write. Is there no clean way of doing this using Eclipselink or JPA? Thanks in Advance.

  • How to access referenced table from ASPX in-line code (datagridview control)

Hi, i am trying to bind data to a datagridview control on an ASPX webpage and am using something like this.. <asp:TemplateField HeaderText="MyField"> <ItemTemplate> <%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "MyField") %> </ItemTemplate> </asp:TemplateField> the problem i am having is that the data for the 'MyField' field is actually an integer that is a reference to a string value in another sql table. Does anyone know how i can reformat my code line above to show the string value instead of the int value?

  • SELECT product from subclass: How many queries do I need?

    - by Stefano
I am building a database similar to the one described here where I have products of different type, each type with its own attributes. I report a short version for convenience product_type ============ product_type_id INT product_type_name VARCHAR product ======= product_id INT product_name VARCHAR product_type_id INT -> Foreign key to product_type.product_type_id ... (common attributes to all product) magazine ======== magazine_id INT title VARCHAR product_id INT -> Foreign key to product.product_id ... (magazine-specific attributes) web_site ======== web_site_id INT name VARCHAR product_id INT -> Foreign key to product.product_id ... (web-site specific attributes) This way I do not need to make a huge table with a column for each attribute of different product types (most of which will then be NULL) How do I SELECT a product by product.product_id and see all its attributes? Do I have to make a query first to know what type of product I am dealing with and then, through some logic, make another query to JOIN the right tables? Or is there a way to join everything together? (if, when I retrieve the information about a product_id there are a lot of NULL, it would be fine at this point). Thank you

  • Generating an NSDictionary from an SQL statement.

    - by Ed Wist
I am trying to generate an NSDictonary that can be used to populate a listview with data I retrieved from an SQL statement. when I go to create an array and add them it adds the arrays for ALL my keys and not just for the current key. I've tried a removeAllObjects on the array but for some reason that destroys ALL my data that I already put in the dictionary. //open the database if(sqlite3_open([dbPath UTF8String], &database) == SQLITE_OK) { const char *sql = "select alphaID, word from words order by word"; sqlite3_stmt *selectStatement; //prepare the select statement int returnValue = sqlite3_prepare_v2(database, sql, -1, &selectStatement, NULL); if(returnValue == SQLITE_OK) { NSMutableArray *NameArray = [[NSMutableArray alloc] init]; NSString *alphaTemp = [[NSString alloc] init]; //loop all the rows returned by the query. while(sqlite3_step(selectStatement) == SQLITE_ROW) { NSString *currentAlpha = [NSString stringWithUTF8String:(char *)sqlite3_column_text(selectStatement, 1)]; NSString *definitionName = [NSString stringWithUTF8String:(char *)sqlite3_column_text(selectStatement, 2)]; if (alphaTemp == nil){ alphaTemp = currentAlpha; } if ([alphaTemp isEqualToString:(NSString *)currentAlpha]) { [NameArray addObject:definitionName]; } else if (alphaTemp != (NSString *)currentAlpha) { [self.words setObject:NameArray forKey:currentAlpha]; [NameArray removeAllObjects]; [NameArray addObject:definitionName]; } } } The Statement above adds all the "keys" but then removes all the array elements for all keys. if I take out the removeAllKeys it adds ALL the array elements for ALL keys. I don't want this I want it to add the array elements FOR the specific key then move on to the next key. in the end I want a NSDictonary with A (array) Alpha (string) Apple (string) B (array) Beta (string) Ball (string) C (array) Code (string) ...

  • Is it necessary to declare attribute [DataMember(Order=n)] on public method?

    - by veera
In my solution, I have created public class to store value and already declare [DataContract/DataMember] attribute. For example, [DataContract] public class MeterSizeInfo { string _meterSizeId; [DataMember(Order = 1)] public string MeterSizeId { get { return this._meterSizeId; } set { this._meterSizeId = value; } } string _meterSizeName; [DataMember(Order = 2)] public string MeterSizeName { get { return this._meterSizeName; } set { this._meterSizeName = value; } } } Then I need to add another public method exposing to entire project. I wonder I have to add [DataMember(Order = 3)] for it or not. [DataMember(Order = 3)] //<--- must declare or not? public string DoSomething() { // do something... } I understand that if I want to use serializer in protobuf-net to serialize my data stored in, I have to declare those attribute. but I'm not sure about that on method. please help. Thank you in advance.

  • When is it safe to use a broken hash function?

    - by The Rook
It is trivial to use a secure hash function like SHA256 and continuing to use md5 is reckless behavior. However, there are some complexities to hash function vulnerabilities that I would like to better understand. Collisions have been generated for md4 and md5. According to NIST md5() is not a secure hash function. It only takes 2^39th operations to generate a collision and should never be used for passwords. However SHA1 is vulnerable to a similar collision attack in which a collision can be found in 2^69 operations, where as brute force is 2^80th. No one has generated a sha1 collision and NIST still lists sha1 as a secure message digest function. So when is it safe to use a broken hash function? Even though a function is broken it can still be "big enough". According to Schneier a hash function vulnerable to a collsion attack can still be used as an HMAC. I believe this is because the security of an HMAC is Dependant on its secret key and a collision cannot be found until this key is obtained. Once you have the key used in a HMAC its already broken, so its a moot point. What hash function vulnerabilities would undermine the security of an HMAC? Lets take this property a bit further. Does it then become safe to use a very weak message digest like md4 for passwords if a salt is perpended to the password? Keep in mind the md4 and md5 attacks are prefixing attacks, and if a salt is perpended then an attacker cannot control the prefix of the message. If the salt is truly a secret, and isn't known to the attacker, then does it matter if its a appended to the end of the password? Is it safe to assume that an attacker cannot generate a collision until the entire message has been obtained? Do you know of other cases where a broken hash function can be used in a security context without introducing a vulnerability? (Please post supporting evidence because it is awesome!)

  • How would I associate a "Note" class to 4+ classes without creating lookup table for each associatio

    - by Gthompson83
Im creating a project tasklist application. I have project, section, task, issue classes, and would like to use one class to be able to add simple notes to any object instance of those classes. The task, issue tables both use a standard identity field as a primary key. The section table has a two field primary key. The project table has a single int primary key defined by the user. Is there a way to associate the note class with each of these without using a seperate lookup table for each class? I'm not so sure my original idea is a decent way to implement this. I considered the following (each variable mapping to a field n the notes table. Private _NoteId As Integer Private _ProjectId As Integer Private _SectionId As Integer Private _SectionId2 As Integer Private _TaskId As Integer Private _IssueId As Integer Private _Note As String Private _UserId As Guid Then I would be able to write seperate methods (getProjectNotes, getTaskNotes) to get notes attached to each class. I started writing this a few weeks ago but got pulled away before i could finish. When revisiting this code today my first thought "this is retarded". Thoughts on drawbacks to this design?

  • created persisted computed columns when the user defined scalar function appears to be non-determini

    - by Ralph Shillington
I have a scalar UDF that I know to be deterministic, however SQL doesn't. Is there a way to declare it as deterministic so that I can then use it in a persisted computed column definition? further clarification: The purpose of this exercise is that I need to harvest out specific values from an XML column on the row. I can't use the value method of the xml column in my computed column definition, but I can use it in a UDF. I know the xpath query in the value method will produce the same output give the same input so while I certainly understand that not all calls to value will be deterministic I want to assert that mine is.

  • Using strtotime for dates before 1970

    - by ctroy
I have a text column in mysql and it stores a date value in the format yyyy-mm-dd. Now, in my php page, I use this code to parse into a date value. date("F j, Y", strtotime($row['value'])); Now, I just read that strtotime() parses values only after January 1, 1970. I have lot of date values before that date. Is there a work around? I don't want to change my database structure.

  • Fetch a Rails ActiveRecord 'datetime' attribute as a DateTime object.

    - by Tobias Cohen
I have an attribute in one of my models that contains a Date/Time value, and is declared using t.datetime :ended_on in my migrations. When I fetch this value using myevent.ended_on, I get a Time object. The problem is that when I try to use this attribute as an axis in a Flotilla chart, it doesn't work properly because Flotilla only recognizes dates as Date or DateTime objects. I thought about writing a virtual attribute that will convert the existing Time value to a DateTime, but I'm wary of doing this, since I've heard that Time can't handle dates later than 2040, and I don't wish to risk creating a "2040 bug" to worry about later. Is there any way I can persuade ActiveRecord to return DateTime objects for this attribute instead of Time objects?

  • Couldn't I just pass an copied string to an Core Data property?

    - by dontWatchMyProfile
The docs say: The default implementation does not copy attribute values. If the attribute value may be mutable and implements the NSCopying protocol (as is the case with NSString, for example), you can copy the value in a custom accessor to help preserve encapsulation (for example, in the case where an instance of NSMutableString is passed as a value). So instead of getting into trouble and inconvenience with overwriting accessors in my NSManagedObject subclass, couldn't I simply do something like this? myManagedObject.firstName = [[firstNameMutableStr copy] autorelease]; This would have the exact same effect, or not? The dynamic implementation would retain that anyways ... so.... why not the easy way?

  • Is there a shorthand way to denullify a string in C#?

    - by Moose Factory
Is there a shorthand way to denullify a string in C#? It would be the equivalent of (if 'x' is a string): string y = x == null ? "" : x; I guess I'm hoping there's some operator that would work something like: string y = #x; Wishful thinking, huh? The closest I've got so far is an extension method on the string class: public static string ToNotNull(this string value) { return value == null ? "" : value; } which allows me to do: string y = x.ToNotNull(); Any improvements on that, anyone?
