• Dot Net Nuke app_offline randomly being generated

  We have had multiple DNN sites running for quite a few months now without any issues. Twice in the last 3 days our sites have gone offline by the addition of the app_offline.htm file in the root dir. There is only one developer with access to the sites at a coding / directory viewing level and the file is generated at weird times times when he is NOT accessing our network. We are not publishing anything to the server ( and have not published any .net code in days ), upgrading, changing code, or even modifying content. Has anyone run into this issue?

  Hello, I need to use reflection to get the binding value in a control that is a DataGridTemplateColumn (e.g HyperLinkButton). Does anyone know how I might do this? It seems simple enough to do this with a TextBlock because it has a “TextProperty” dependency property, but I can’t seem to get a binding expression from a control that does not have an immediate “TextProperty”. Here is the code I’m using to acquire the binding expression for a TextBlock: FrameworkElement fe = (FrameworkElement)dependencyObj; FieldInfo fi = fe.GetType().GetField("TextProperty"); BindingExpression bindingExpression = fe.GetBindingExpression((DependencyProperty)fi.GetValue(null)) However, the following code never works for a dependency object that is a HyperLinkButton: FieldInfo fi = fe.GetType().GetField("ContentProperty"); Does anyone know how I might be able to get the BindingExpression (and binding value) for the content of a HyperLinkButton? • ASP.NET Temporary Folders - growing uncontrollably

  On our production server, we find that the ASP.NET Temporary folders grow uncontrollably. It reaches as much as 14Gb. When we check the folder content, we find couple of assemblies being created again and again in the folder. What could be possible reasons for this duplication? As per our understanding, compiled ASP assemblies goes into temporary folders - so what could be reasons for some of these assemblies getting duplicated in these temporary folders? What possible fixes (other than IIS Reset or changing web.config etc. - causing delete of all these files) can we look forward to implementing?

• NHibernate and hbm2dll update attribute

  Hi, i'm using NHibernate with Sdf database. In my hibernate.cfg.xml file i've set: <property name="hbm2ddl.auto" value="update"/> But this does not seem to work at all. "Update" attribute should make NHibernate generate missing tables and columns during application launch, but it does not happen. If i want missing tables geenrated I have to set hbm2dll.auto property to "create" which is not an option for me since it drops existing db content beforehand. I experienced the same problem with PostgreSql problem. Am I missing something?

• UIImageView in UITableCell gets a weird size

  Hi, I'm trying to place a UIImageView in a UITableViewCell. I create a special view called ProductView. In that view, I have several components, one of them being a UIImageView. I set this ProductView as content view of the UITableViewCell. Everything is drawn properly except the UIImageView. UIImageView gets scaled meaninglessly. It's height gets twice the height of the table cell size. I've spent hours trying to solve this problem. I've set the frame of UIImageView manually, I've called drawRect method of UIImage in UIImageView, neither of them worked. I'm thinking of replacing UITableView with a UIScrollView if I can't find a solution. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

• jQuery slideable divs with floated images how to make the right size.

• Flex Debugger wont launch - Only on particular project.

  When trying to launch Flex debaugger on my project, it does not launch and I get an error instead. Every other project in different workspaces launches just fine. • jQuery Selectors: how to access an a tag, whose span has a specific class?

  I'm messing around with FullCalendar jQuery calendar, and qTips, so that I can display more information about the event upon mouseover. I've added a summary element to the FullCalendar js, and also my server code. I then added a new qTip in the eventMouseover method, based on the span class, which works prefectly. However, if the event stretches over a couple of days, the qTip only works (because it is a span tag), on the text itself, not the entire blue strip. What I want to do is to assign the qTip to the a tag, and make the a tags display block. This works currently: eventMouseover: function(event){ $('span[class=fc-event-title]').each(function() { if( $(this).text() == event.title ) { $(this).qtip({ content: event.summary, style: { border: { width: 1, radius: 5, color: '#6699CC' }, width: 200 } }); } }); but I can't figure out how to select the a tag where it contains a span with class of fc-event-title.   I am dealing with an old application which uses struts 1.2. And for some reason, we are using pure html form to submit to struts action. For example: for the content output of testAction.do, I try to submit to itself. item 1 item 2 Then I associate an form bean TestForm with testAction. I am not sure how to specify the properties in the form so that it take the value from myitem1 after user click "submit" I tried to add getMyitem1(), setMyitem1(String[] items), getSelectedMyitem1(), setSelectedMyitem1(String[] items) Those set methods are only called when page are loaded. I guess my understanding of ActionForm in struts 1.x must be wrong. Please advise, thanks.

  Each tweet has a single URL such as http://twitter.com/#!/DeliciousHot/status/23189589820702720. The tweet identification (/DeliciousHot/status/23189589820702720) is in the URL fragment segment which is not actually sent to server. Originally, I thought it works this way: The URL response doesn't have this tweet specific info. It is JavaScript module that extracts tweet id from current browser URL and fetch tweet payload with AJAX. The page content is then updated with the tweet payload. To my surprise, it is doesn't work this way! With Firebug, you can view that response of http://twitter.com/#!/DeliciousHot/status/23189589820702720 has tweet payload "10 Signs of a True Gentleman" text in inline JavaScript. The tweet payload is not fetched by another AJAX. So, how does Twitter server get to know the expected tweet ID even it is in URL fragment segment?

Everyone must access that program and be able to put their scripts. Recover previous versions of script file. Execute these scripts over a selected database. Compare databases by procedures (not only by name, by content of procedure), functions, table columns, packages etc. I am searching a program like that. Which one do you suggest me?

  I need to create several windows before NSDocument is loaded, or create a window that blocks NSDocument window and top menu. I tried several solutions - but they didn't work right. modal window, one after another. there were some problems with Async URLConnection, and some other problems with my NSDocument content. I created custom MainMenu.xib with no menu, that opens my preinitialize windows. here i found some other problems, when a file(associated with my application) is opened - the Document Window initializes. Here i tried to subclass NSDocumentController, but i found no way to pause the "open document". (i want the document to be opened anyway, but only after the preinitalize windows would be closed). So what is the right way to do this?

• SQL Server T-SQL statement to replace/delete sub-strings

  Hi, I have a table with 6 columns containing HTML content with some markups in it and now when moving to a new designed site most of this HTML code has to be deleted. More or less all tags except <B> and </B>. Is there a nice way of doing this, identify all tags end delete them within the data? I'm sure there are no < symbols in the test so a regular expression would maybe work? My alternative is to fetch every row, process it and update the database but I'm guessing this is possible to do in T-SQL directly. My server is an MSSQL 2008 and is located in a hosted environment but I can fetch a local copy if needed. Thanks, Stefan

• Hosting Javascript/CSS file on CDN similar to Google hosting jQuery

  Hello, I am wondering if there are any hosts or if I can host my file (JS & CSS) on Google so that they are cached and load real quick (due to CDN and gzip). A number of my customers use these files and I would prefer if they could somehow include this to file to receive the JS file. Ideally with filename.js?publickey=sdfgsdfg (which will be tied to a particular domain name). The problem is that my hosting needs are very small- only about 100kb. Any suggestions. My problem is that the customers using the JS & CSS file, have no clue about gzipping content or caching (as their shared hosts do not support it), as a result causes the JS/CSS to take forever to load. Am wondering if I can leverage an existing free service, or I do not mind paying either. Thank you for your time.
