    In Html 5, there is an new attribute on textbox call autofocus. The problem is it is a boolean value (there or not there) It should look something like : <input name="a" value="" autofocus> I try : <%= Html.TextBox( "a", null, new { autofocus } ) %> But, it's give me an error because I'm not setting a value to autofocus... I know I can do it manually, but can I do it with Html.TextBox ?

  • How to handle unknown initializer functions in lua?

    I want to load data written in a variant of lua (eyeonScript). However, the data is peppered with references to initialization functions that are not in plain lua: Redden = BrightnessContrast { Inputs = { Red = Input { Value = 0, }, }, } Standard lua gives "attempt to call a nil value" or "unexpected symbol" errors. Is there any way to catch these and pass it to some sort of generic initializer? I want to wind up with a nested table data structure. Thanks!

    Displaying "Type here to ..." until the user enters text into a TextBox is a well-known usability feature nowadays. How would one implement this feature in C#? My idea is to override OnTextChanged, but the logic to handle the changes of Text from and to "Type here" is a bit tricky... Displaying "Type here" on initialization and removing it on first input is easy, but I want to display the message every time the entered text becomes empty.

    I'm trying to make a test for checking whether a sys.argv input matches the regex for an IP address... As a simple test, I have the following... import re pat = re.compile("\d{1,3}.\d{1,3}.\d{1,3}.\d{1,3}") test = pat.match(hostIP) if test: print "Acceptable ip address" else: print "Unacceptable ip address" However when I pass random values into it, it returns "Acceptable ip address" in most cases, except when I have an "address" that is basically equivalent to \d+ Any thoughts welcome.     It is known that the halting problem cannot have a definite solution, one that a) returns true <== the program does indeed halt, and b) handles any input, but I was wondering if there are good enough solutions to the problem, ones that can maybe handle certain types of program flows perfectly, or is able to identify it when it cannot correctly solve the problem, and so on.... If so, how good are they, and what ideas/limitations do they rely on?

According to the rules in normal c# and all it should not enter the loop as it will be as follows with the values. If( not(false and (true)) = if not( false) =if( true) which implies it should enters the loop But it is not happening Can someone let me know if i am wrong at any place
