Since the first two characters of a JSON text will always be ASCII characters [RFC0020], it is possible to determine whether an octet stream is UTF-8, UTF-16 (BE or LE), or UTF-32 (BE or LE) by looking at the pattern of nulls in the first four octets. What does it mean "Since the first two characters of a JSON text will always be ASCII characters [RFC0020]"? I've looked at RFC0020 but couldn't find anything about it. JSON could be {" or { " (ie whitespace before the quote.

  • Issues with installing PHPUnit

    So I've installed PHP Unit via PEAR (all the files are there, I've checked). However, when I try to run a test I get: Warning: require_once(PHPUnit/Framework.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\WAMP\www\ExampleTests\arraytest.php on line 2 I'm guessing this has something to do with my PHPUnit installation not updating the include_path properly, but I'm not too sure what to update it to? I'm on Windows (7), using WAMP. Cheers! EDIT: The bottom of PHP.ini contains: ;***** Added by go-pear include_path=".;C:\WAMP\bin\php\php5.3.10\pear" ;***** I also get the error: Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'PHPUnit/Framework.php' (include_path='.;C:\php\pear') However, after looking in PHP.ini, there's no include path that points to C:\php\pear?

    I am building an ASP.NET application. Within each ASPX page, we are outputting inline snippets of HTML that are pulled from static text files. Similar to the example shown here: http://www.dotnetcurry.com/ShowArticle.aspx?ID=331 As in the article, we store the contents of the files in HttpRuntime.Cache with a CacheDependency pointing to the included file. For each cached file, the operating system needs to monitor a file for changes. Is this going to be a potential scalability problem? Does Windows 2008 have a maximum number of file change monitors?

  • Why does placing this html within form tags change the layout?

    I'm using this free Web Template - EliteCircle and have just incorporated it into a master page. The master page wraps the html in: <form id="form1" runat="server"> //master page html </form> The template almost comes out fine except the entire page is surrounded by a think white border (default CSS behavior for form?) and the footer background is half white on the very bottom. I wouldn't expect the form with id=form1 to change anything in the layout. There is nothing in the [CSS][2] with that id. When I remove the form tags from the master page (just to check) the layout is perfect, no problems. Any ideas?     Hey all, i am checking for an internet connection by checking for a file on my server. The file only has the word LIVE displayed on the page. No HTML or anything else is there, just the word LIVE. When i run this code, i do get the NSLog as saying "LIVE" but once i go to check it with the IF statement, it fails and i just do not know why??? In IE8 the scrollbar appears but doesn't work, and I don't have any other way to move down.   • CaptureCameraDialog returns OK but does not save (Motorola ES400)

    Ok it seems like everyone in the world has issues with CaptureCameraDialog. In my case the result is OK, but when taking the photo there is a MessageBox that says "Error" that appears and disappears in the blink of an eye, then returns to my app (so I don't have time to actually read the error). It has not saved the file. It does not throw an error to my application. There is also another issue which is exactly the same as the issue talked about here (yet none of the fixes work for me). http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-4025602.php Does anyone know how to get the "error message" that the dialogue box displays for an instant?

    I figured out how to redirect someone, if they happen across one particular filename: Redirect /index.php http://www.website.com/#myaccount As you can see, I'm pretty much redirecting that visitor to the same page, which doesn't work. It's an endless look, regardless of the slight/minuscule change. I want to force someone to see a part of the page, by adding the hash. (it's a little weird, I know) I'm guessing this may be a time to use regex in the htaccess file. But I thought I'd ask if there's a simpler way to do this from the htaccess file.

Then I go up... then I TRY go to back down but that error pops up. Also when I go to the right 8 squares... I ALSO get that error.     I would like to scrape the search results of this ASP.NET site using Ruby and preferably just using Hpricot (I cannot open an instance of Firefox): http://www.ngosinfo.gov.pk/SearchResults.aspx?name=&foa=0 However, I am having trouble figuring out how to go through each page of results. Basically, I need simulate clicking on links like these: <a href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$Pager1$2','')" class="blue_11" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_Pager1">2</a> <a href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$Pager1$3','')" class="blue_11" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_Pager1">3</a> etc. I tried using Net::HTTP to handle the post, but while that received the correct HTML, there were no search results (I'm probably not doing that correctly). In addition, the URL of the page does not contain any parameters indicating page, so it is not possible to force the results that way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, We have a similar problem. We have a web application running under default appdomain. It was working fine until a week before...Suddenly it has encountered a problem. Below message is taken from event logs. Event code: 4005 Event message: Forms authentication failed for the request. Reason: The ticket supplied has expired. Application uses FormsAuthentication and gets the roles from aspnetdb.. After the error, when user logins to the page, it does not redirects to the default.aspx. Again login.aspx comes up. On the other hand application works fine on development server(localhost), but not on www(IIS 6.0). Does any one has an idea? Thanks, Ilknur

  • Drupal Event/Calendar Module not storing event time

    Hello, all. I have installed a fresh copy of Drupal on an Xampp server. Within that install is a collection of modules for creating an event calendar. There's actually a great instructional video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qO4TeEydtMs for getting all the necessary fields up. So far everything is working except... the events won't store the time as stated in the edit field. No matter what I do in the edit mode as admin or otherwise the time always says 12pm and the event on the calendar says "All Day". I know this is pretty obscure but I figured why not try and ask.
