• Facebook like box not working on mobile browser

  I'm writing a simple splash page for a client to hold a like box widget: <iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?id=***********&amp;width=238&amp;connections=4&amp;stream=false&amp;header=false&amp;height=200" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:238px; height:200px;" allowTransparency="true"></iframe> The page displays fine, with the like box, but when you click on the like it depresses without prompting the user to logon and does not update facebook. This behavior seems to be on mobile browsers only. On desktop browsers (ie8, firefox, safari) it works just fine. Anyone had this happen, and if so what was their solution?

• Getting text after URL in asp.net / URL Rewriting (sort of!)

  My app is a very simple "one page" type app- It has Default.aspx I'm basically trying to get, for example: www.myappurl.com/this is my text I want to get hold of "this is my text" from the above example. This will be displayed on the page (for now) I didn't really want to have to use any complext url rewriting things for this... (My hosting provider uses IIS6) I tried using a 404 handler, but this is a bit long winded, and i'm using shared hosting, that can't set the "execute url" on custom 404 pages. Any other ideas?

Im guessing hte addlead.pl is just a posting page with no response.

• facebook meta tag description not updating

  3 days ago I updated description within the meta tag of facebook, but change does not reflect when sharing link on facebook. Instead old description still appears. According to Facebook, it scrapes your page every 24 hours to ensure the description (and other share data) are up to date. However, one can manually refresh it by entering the post URL into the Facebook URL Linter I did manually refresh it as well as now waited for 3 days. When i see debugging output from linter, it shows the correct up-to-date description, but old description still shown when sharing a link. How to reproduce: This is our website: https://www.tradeinsports.se/#tis1 (It's in swedish so bear with me please). If you go to above link and click on any of the two available products, and then share on facebook, you can see the difference in description from the one which appears in linter debugging output. Any help would be appreciated.

• Webserver for publishing adjusted images

  I want to create webserver which will be receiving data (images probably) from webclients who will be uploading these photos. And then the webserver must execute some graphic programs (client select whichone) to modify the image(s). After the graphic program is done, the results (output image(s)) will be uploaded to the web temp database (by webserver) to publish results of graphic programs. I found the C++ web toolkit (http://www.webtoolkit.eu), but I'm not sure if this is a suitable C/C++ library for me because I haven't any experiences with making C/C++ web apps/servers. Can someone tell me some advice please? The webserver should have some SDK too, for adding next graphic programs. I'm searching only for any C/C++ tools/libraries/etc.

• Question about [literally] mapping location based on an IP address.

  I've been bored lately and I want to start a new project. I was looking at a website mentioned in a different question (http://www.grapevinegame.com/), and I thought the map and how it plots a point based on someone's IP (I assume) is pretty nifty. I want to do something like that, but I have no idea how it's done. I know you can get latitude and longitude, city and state, and some more with some already-written scripts, but how would you plot those on a map of the world? I've seen it other places, like Google Analytics and such, as well. It seems like a neat thing to be able to do, so I was just wondering how exactly it works. :-p.

• SQL to return the rownum of a specific row? (using Oracle db)

  In Oracle 10g, I have this SQL: select dog.id as dogId from CANINES dog order by dog.codename asc which returns: id -- 204 203 206 923 I want to extend this query to determine the oracle rownum of a dog.id in this resultset. I have tried select rownum from (select dog.id as dogId from CANINES dog order by dog.codename asc) where dog.id=206 But this does not work out very well (it returns 1 no matter which dog.id I match on). • Saving full page content using Selenium

  Hi all, I was wondering what's the best way to save all the files that are retrieved when Selenium visits a site. In other words, when Selenium visits http://www.google.com I want to save the HTML, JavaScript (including scripts referenced in src tags), images, and potentially content contained in iframes. How can this be done? I know getHTMLSource() will return the HTML content in the body of the main frame, but how can this be extended to download the complete set of files necessary to render that page again.   I wrote three classes for a colleague of mine (I'm new at this job). They compile just fine, but he tells me there are "defects, bugs, and style problems." He wants me to print the files out and mark the problems such as the standard coding conventions, best practices, format, design, and logic. I wrote this code when I was extremely tired and I plan to rewrite it completely. My mistake was showing to it before looking it over myself again. However, he still wants me to do the markings on paper. Any input is greatly appreciated! I specifically want to extract the child(or siblings) nodes of the element <kuler:themeItem>. However I am getting an exception : Namespace Manager or XsltContext needed. • The C vs. C++ way

  Hi, So I have to write a program that will iterate through an image and record the pixel locations corresponding to each color pixel that appears in it. For example, given http://www.socuteurl.com/fishywishykissy I need to find the coordinates of all yellow, purple, dark pink, etc pixels. In C++ I would use a hash table to do this. I would iterate through the image, check each pixel's value, look up that value and either add to a vector of pixel coordinates if it were found or add a new entry to the table if the value were not already there. The problem is that I may need to write this program in pure C instead of C++. How would I go about doing this in C? I feel like implementing a hash table would be pretty obnoxious and error-prone: should I avoid doing that? I'm pretty inexperienced with C and have a fair amount of C++ experience, if that matters.   Just installed Lion today and my PATH env variable is no longer being set by ~/.MacOSX/environment.plist. Did something change? Can't seem to find any info on that or how to fix. Any ideas? [Query]: Why and how are these values inferred? I mean why specifically have only 32 or 64 bit pointers? The diagram says, One data block{8 KB} for each pointer {4 bytes/8 bytes} [Query]: How does this actually work out? i.e. 8*1024 bytes / 8 bytes = 1024 bytes?   I have two classes A & B, and a listbox. I assign listBox.ItemsSource equal to a collection of objects of type A. The listbox items are visualized using silverlight data templating, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.datatemplate.aspx and http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WPF/UserControlAsDataTemplate.aspx for example. The listbox.ItemTemplate is a DataTemplate that uses class B to visualize the listbox items. Now, in my code-behind, inside any method of class B, if I do this.DataContext, it points to an object of type A. Thus, given an object of type B, I can find the corresponding object of type A. So far so good. My question is, given an object of type A, how can I navigate to the corresponding object of type B? Is this even possible in SL?

• Can one class generate a signal and handled by another class?

  Hello, I have a buffer in class 'bufferClass' that will generate a signal to tell 'fileClass' that buffer is full and now write data to file? And when 'fileClass' is done writing to file, it will generate a signal to tell 'guiClass' that data can be read from file. Is this possible? I have been reading http://www.gnu.org/s/libc/manual/html_node/Signal-Handling.html but not too sure how to generate such a signal? I don't need the exact code, just an idea. • Excel Macro to find text in cell and insert hyperlink on cell

  We're managing some system bugs in a web system and setting priority for execs in a spreadsheet. Each of the tickets has a "FD-" and four numbers as the ID. The web system has a hyperlink that has that "FD-####" at the end of the link. The end result would look like this -- http://www.mytickets.com/FD-#### I'd like to run a macro that finds all the FD-#### and inserts a hyperlink on each. There may be multiple FD-#### in a single cell and there will certainly be other text in there. I'd go through each and add the link but there are over 150 or so. Thanks!

• Laying out JPanels to make a simple GUI

  Hello, first of all, this is more or less my first GUI and ive learned Java for not more then a week, so it might contain some serious programming errors. What i have right now is: Buttons and labels are part of OptionPanel and are on the left, DrawingPanel is about 5x5 px in size and is on the right. What I am trying to do is a simple test, to get me more familiar with the GUI.
