• Oracle : Identifying duplicates in a table without index

  When I try to create a unique index on a large table, I get a unique contraint error. The unique index in this case is a composite key of 4 columns. Is there an efficient way to identify the duplicates other than : select col1, col2, col3, col4, count() from Table1 group by col1, col2, col3, col4 having count() 1 The explain plan above shows full table scan with extremely high cost, and just want to find if there is another way. Consider the following two scenarios: Table1 ----------- int PersonID text Value1 float Value2 or Table1 ----------- int PersonID text Value1 Table2 ----------- int PersonID float Value2 If Value1 and Value2 are always being displayed together, I imagine Table1 is always faster because the second schema would require two SELECT statements. But are there any situations where you would choose the second? If the number of records were expected to be really large?

  I'm having a heck of a time trying to get a silverlight datagrid to properly sort, and do so quickly (sub 1/10 second). Here's the scenario: -WCF callback every 1/5 of a second -Take the callback, match up to the existing record in an ObservableCollection -Update the ObservableCollection's properties -Bind the grid. I've tried a linq query, PagedCollectionView, and observablecollection.select(), all are waaaaaaay too slow, and introduce 12+ second delays in processing. Anyone else experience this?

Especially the technically non-savvy have dificulty understanding that the need to select a "provider" to login. Stackoverflows login implementation is quite good, but I think it would cost me quite some explaining to get my mother to use here gmail account to register/login to another site... So the question is: Does anynone know OpenId register/login implemtantions which are more usable than Stackoverflows?

I would like it to print a single number for each line in the file.

• MVC Bootstrap: Autocomplete doesn't show properly

  I have a MVC website and it had a searchbox with autocomplete, now I changed the layout using bootstrap. But now the autocomplete isn't been shown correctly anymore. See the picture the suggestions are not shown right. the autocomplete goes through the text. I was fine before I used bootstrap.   I have a table, which looks like: +-----------+----------+ + person_id + group_id + +-----------+----------+ + 1 + 10 + + 1 + 20 + + 1 + 30 + + 2 + 10 + + 2 + 20 + + 3 + 10 + +-----------+----------+ I need a query such that only person_ids with groups 10 AND 20 AND 30 are returned (only person_id: 1). I am not sure how to do this, as from what I can see it would require me to group the rows by person_id and then select the rows which contain all group_ids. I'm looking for something which will preserve the use of keys without resorting to string operations on group_concat() or such.
