    I have Table with two smalldatetime columns, where one is startTime and other one is endTime. I need to select all values from table which between times of both columns compared to getdate()' time. I'm using SQL-Server 2005. example startDate endDate value1 2/2/01 16:00 2/2/01 18:00 1 2/2/01 21:00 2/2/01 22:00 2 2/2/01 05:00 2/2/01 22:00 3 getdate() gives 2/2/2000 21:40 so i need to get value1 2 and 3 thanks in advance

Like: $collection->addAttributeToFilter('someattribute', array('like' => 'value'));` OR $collection->addAttributeToFilter('otherattribute', array('like' => 'value'));` To get products which either 'someattribute' OR 'otherattribute' set to 'value' Is it possible?

    I know that you can instantiate anonymous types with Linq but I am looking to instantiate an object I have already defined. Every time I do, all the properties are returned with their defaults (null, 0, etc.) Is there a way to make this work? I want to select hyperlink with href containing category1 so i have written jQuery(a[href*='category1']) but dont know why it also selects hyperlinks with category10 category11 category12 ... also I understand that category1 is common in all of them but 'category1' should'nt be do i need to put ' with escape charaters.

  • Is it possible to keep mysql migration running without keeping connection open?

    ALTER TABLE can easily take a few days - and during this time there's a non-negligible chance of connection getting terminated due to network problems. Is it possible to start ALTER TABLE (or CREATE TABLE ... SELECT ...; or some other very long running query) and leave it running without keeping connection open all the time? (the obvious solution of screen + console mysql client won't easily work as there's no ssh running on that server, only mysqld).

    I have an application, and I would like to print a JTable, but since it has many columns, I would like user to select/limit which columns to print so it can fit in regular printer paper. I'm using JTable.print() function to print. (http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/misc/printtable.html) Right now, my solution, is to create another JTable with the columns that user selected, then repopulate the table with the data, then send it to printer. Is there a better way to do it?

    I would need some help on how to optimize the query. select * from transaction where id < 7500001 order by id desc limit 16 when i do an explain plan on this - the type is "range" and rows is "7500000" According to the some online reference's this is explained as, it took the query 7,500,000 rows to scan and get the data. Is there any way i can optimize so it uses less rows to scan and get the data. Also, id is the primary key column.
