    I have a two dimensional array that contain range of numbers that have to be validated using following rules, range should start from 0 and follow in arithmetic progression. For example: $array = array(); $array[] = array(0);//VALID $array[] = array(0,1,2,3,4,5);//VALID $array[] = array("0","1");//VALID $array[] = array(0,1,3,4,5,6);//WRONG $array[] = array(1,2,3,4,5);//WRONG $array[] = array(0,0,1,2,3,4);//WRONG what is most efficient way to do that in php?     I'm using JPA 2.0/Hibernate validation to validate my models. I now have a situation where the combination of two fields has to be validated: public class MyModel { public Integer getValue1() { //... } public String getValue2() { //... } } The model is invalid if both getValue1() and getValue2() are null and valid otherwise. How can I perform this kind of validation with JPA 2.0/Hibernate? With a simple @NotNull annotation both getters must be non-null to pass validation.

  • Can I copy a cross compiler tool chain between systems (I did before)?

    I tested fairly extensively with Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 2 Server in a VM, and was able to simply copy (read tar x) a cross compiled tool chain from an Ubuntu 8.10 VM. I created the tar myself, which is essentially a lot of stuff in \usr\local. Now that I've got a bare metal installation of Ubuntu 10.04 proper, the copy isn't working. In particularly, I'm getting the error: $ arm-linux-gcc -bash: /usr/local/bin/arm-linux-gcc: No such file or directory I've got the systems side by side in SSH windows ... any suggestions?

  • Missing Text in Air Application Flex4+Mac OSX Snow Leopard

    I am running the same AIR application under windows, linux and Mac OSX Windows and Linux look fine, but under mac OS-X the controls are not showing any text. Button, Tooltips, Labels, Check boxes, everything is blank. I just ported that app to Flex 4. Flex 3 versions of the same app on the same OSX machine works. How can I get controls to show text under Max OSX? Is this a font problem?

  • Is there a way to get the uid of the other end of a unix socket connection

    Is there a way for a unix socket listener to only accept connection from certain user (chmod/chown does not work for abstract socket afaik), or in another word, get the uid of the incoming connection (on Linux)? Dbus, which uses abstract unix socket on Linux, has a function GetConnectionUnixUser which is used by polkit to determine the caller. So I suppose the dbus-daemon must have a way to do that. Does anyone know how that works? THX

Right now this is my code: $(".register-type").change(function(){ var value = $(this).val(); if(value == 'CP'){ $('.cp-show').show(); This works fine if they change the input, but if things get validated false and the page reloads, this input is still 'CP', but the div doesn't show... Is there a way to correct this so that jquery checks if this is set on the page load?

    How does boost::function take a function pointer and get parameters from it? I want wrap a function pointer so that it can be validated before being called. And it would be nice to be able to call it like boost::function is with the () operator and not having to access the function pointer member. The error message is only shown when the user hovers the textbox with wrong data. Do you think that is a bad User experience ? I could show the red error message text to the right side of the textboxes if there would still be space...

    Hi, I've created reports in Adboe that have checkobxes and set then to required fields. But when i click the submit button all fields but the check boxes are validated. I.e If i dont complete the required textbox field the report will not submit, but when i do and the required checkbox fields are not checked it still submits. This only appears to be happening on Adobe 9 Any ideas? Thanks Sp

  • Light Weight repalcement to GNOME for Ubuntu

    I am working on rolling a bit of my own version of linux for my real time car application. I plan to base it off of minimal ubuntu (only needsd 32 MB of memory). I am not the most skilled person with linux so not really sure how to assess components when adding them to my system. What I am looking for is a lightweight windows manager to replace gnome and it has to support the gtkmm library. Does anyone know of one?
