  • Random <hr/> that I don't know how to get rid of!

    - by Anonymous the Great
    There is no extra <hr/> on the page, and I cannot figure out why it is there. Do you see anything that is causing it? I am sorry for posting the whole thing, I do not know exactly where it starts. The <hr/> is at the top somewhere, but I'm not sure where. <?php print "<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?>"; ?> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <font face="Segoe UI"> <body> <script type="text/javascript"> /*function detectBrowser() { var browser = navigator.appCodeName; if (browser!="Mozilla") {document.location.href="noaccess.php"; alert(browser);} } detectBrowser(); */ </script> <title>Second</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="allCSS.css"/> <center> <!--<img align="right" src="logo.png" id="headerimg"/>--> <input type="image" id="headerimg" src="logo.png" align="right" onclick="toggleh();"/> <ul align="center" class=""> <div class="menu"> <ul class="nav"> <li><strong><a href="index.php">Home</a></strong> <ul> <li><a href="games.php">Games</a></li> <li><a href="browse.php">Browse</a></li> <li><a href="catalogue.php">Catalogue</a></li> <li><a href="forum.php">Forums</a></li> </ul> </li> <li><strong><a href="games">Games</a></strong> <ul> <li><a href="profile.php">Profile</a></li> <li><a href="settings.php">Settings</a></li> </ul> </li> <li><strong><a href="contact">Contact</a></strong> <ul> <li><a href="contact/index.php">Phone</a></li> <li><a href="contact/index.php">Email</a></li> <li><a href="contact/index.php">Mail</a></li> </ul> </li> </div> </center> </body> <center> <?php echo '<div id="msg">'; include 'message.txt'; echo '</div>'; //include 'hits.txt'; ?> <p> <?php function ChangeText($txt) { $txt='<script type="text/javascript">get();</script>'; echo '<script type="text/javascript">change();</script>'; $filename="message.txt"; $fp=fopen($filename,'w'); fwrite($fp,'<h4 class="hmsg">' . $txt .   • .net bitmap file type limitations

    - by David Archer
Hi, Given the line: Bitmap bitmap = new Bitmap(stream); where stream is a System.IO.Stream, are there any limitations on the image file type e.g png, jpg, gif etc that can be handled. i.e are all image file/stream header info clear enough to say "I am an image". I haven't run into any yet, but have only being using the pretty standard ones so far. Thanks

  • jQuery, Animate opacity to 1 then remove the opacity property to make it better looking on IE

    - by Emily
Hi everyone, I tried the jQuery fadeIn animation in all browsers and it work good, but not that much on IE. the Alpha png images are so creepy after appending the CSS opacity, but i have an idea and i don't know how to implement it using jQuery. The idea is to fadeIn the element and when the animation is finished it will automatically remove the opacity property in order to make the picture quality better. How to do that? Note: i'm using Animate and not FadeIn. Thanks

  • Memory issues - Living vs. overall -> app is killed

    - by D33
I'm trying to check my applications memory issues in Instruments. When I load the application I play some sounds and show some animations in UIImageViews. To save some memory I load the sounds only when I need it and when I stop playing it I free it from the memory. problem 1: My application is using about 5.5MB of Living memory. BUT The Overall section is growing after start to 20MB and then it's slowly growing (about 100kB/sec). But responsible Library is OpenAL (OAL::Buffer), dyld (_dyld_start)-I am not sure what this really is, and some other stuff like ft_mem_qrealloc, CGFontStrikeSetValue, … problem 2: When the overall section breaks about 30MB, application crashes (is killed). According to the facts I already read about overall memory, it means then my all allocations and deallocation is about 30MB. But I don't really see the problem. When I need some sound for example I load it to the memory and when I don't need it anymore I release it. But that means when I load 1MB sound, this operation increase overall memory usage with 2MB. Am I right? And when I load 10 sounds my app crashes just because the fact my overall is too high even living is still low??? I am very confused about it. Could someone please help me clear it up? (I am on iOS 5 and using ARC) SOME CODE: creating the sound OpenAL: MYOpenALSound *sound = [[MyOpenALSound alloc] initWithSoundFile:filename willRepeat:NO]; if(!sound) return; [soundDictionary addObject:sound]; playing: [sound play]; dispatch_after(dispatch_time(DISPATCH_TIME_NOW, ((sound.duration * sound.pitch) + 0.1) * NSEC_PER_SEC), dispatch_get_current_queue(), ^{ [soundDictionary removeObjectForKey:[NSNumber numberWithInt:soundID]]; }); } creating the sound with AVAudioPlayer: [musics replaceObjectAtIndex:ID_MUSIC_MAP withObject:[[Music alloc] initWithFilename:@"mapMusic.mp3" andWillRepeat:YES]]; pom = [musics objectAtIndex:musicID]; [pom playMusic]; and stop and free it: [musics replaceObjectAtIndex:ID_MUSIC_MAP withObject:[NSNull null]]; AND IMAGE ANIMATIONS: I load images from big PNG file (this is realated also to my other topic : Memory warning - UIImageView and its animations) I have few UIImageViews and by time I'm setting animation arrays to play Animations... UIImage *source = [[UIImage alloc] initWithCGImage:[[UIImage imageNamed:@"imageSource.png"] CGImage]]; cutRect = CGRectMake(0*dimForImg.width,1*dimForImg.height,dimForImg.width,dimForImg.height); image1 = [[UIImage alloc] initWithCGImage:CGImageCreateWithImageInRect([source CGImage], cutRect)]; cutRect = CGRectMake(1*dimForImg.width,1*dimForImg.height,dimForImg.width,dimForImg.height); ... image12 = [[UIImage alloc] initWithCGImage:CGImageCreateWithImageInRect([source CGImage], cutRect)]; NSArray *images = [[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects:image1, image2, image3, image4, image5, image6, image7, image8, image9, image10, image11, image12, image12, image12, nil]; and this array I just use simply like : myUIImageView.animationImages = images, ... duration -> startAnimating

Is there aany other way to use custom cursors? How efficient/usable would it be to hide the cursor and show a png instead?

Given a PNG in a web context with some transparent pixels and some non-transparent pixels, is there a way in Javascript to determine if a user has clicked on a non-transparent pixel? A webkit-only solution would be perfectly acceptable.

  • Why does GC not clear the Dialog references?

    - by Pavel
I have a dialog. Every time I create it and then dispose, it stays in memory. It seems to be a memory leak somewhere, but I can't figure it out. Do you have any ideas? See the screenshot of heap dump for more information. Thanks in advance. http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/5764/leak.png

  • Keep div:hover open when changing nested select box

    - by JMC Creative
    This is an IE-only problem. .toolTip becomes visible when it's parent element is :hovered over. Inside of .toolTip is a select box. When the user opens the select box to make a selection, the parent element is being "un-hovered", if you will. To put it another way, when I try to select something from the dropdown, the whole thing hides itself again. I'm sure it has something to do with the way IE interprets the stylesheet, but I don't know what or where. Here is some relevant code (edited for clarity): #toolBar .toolTip { position: absolute; display:none; background: #fff; line-height: 1em; font-size: .8em; min-width: 300px; bottom: 47px; left: -5px; padding: 0 ; } #toolBar div:hover .toolTip { display:block; } and <div id="toolBar"> <div class="socialIcon"> <a href=""><img src="/im/social/nytimes.png" alt="NY Times Bestsellers" /></a> <span class="toolTip"> <h1>NY Times Bestsellers Lists</h1> <div id="nyTimesBestsellers"> <?php include('/ny-times-bestseller-feed.php') ?> </div> <p><img src="/im/social/nytimes.png" alt="NY Times Bestseller Lists" /> Change List <select id="nyTimesChangeCurrentList" name="nyTimesChangeCurrentList"> <option value="hardcover-fiction">Hardcover Fiction</option> <option value="hardcover-nonfiction">Hardcover Nonfiction</option> <option value="hardcover-advice">Hardcover Advice</option> </select> </p> </span> </div> </div>

  • How does one smooth an image used as a control skin?

    - by kevmoo
I'm embedding an image like this: [Embed(source="/tool_deleteUp.png")] private static const c_deleteButton_styleUp:Class; I'm using it like this: _removeButton = new Button(); _removeButton.setStyle('upSkin', c_deleteButton_styleUp); When I rotate the button, the image doesn't scale smoothly. I know the tricks one uses to scale an image loaded in an Image control, but I'm banging my head against a wall trying to figure out how to do it here. Help!
