• Changing UIView on orientation change

  Hey all. I have a fairly simple question. I am developing a "rich" iPad app, and I have two background images specifically designed for landscape and portrait. As some of the pages have <meta name="Description and some have <meta name="description. I wouldn't ask this question here (I could use google and type which is better) only for a reason that in my previous cariere as an engineer I worked (and most of my friends) all the time on AutoCAD not on Microstation even though Microstation had always been better software (stability, conforming to standards, ease of use etc.).   I have a .NET windows forms application compiled as x84 – it needs to be compiled as x84 because it references 3rd party DLLs which are 32 bit. The application uses COM interop to automate Office applications and also AutoCAD. My question is: will my COM interop code work okay on a 64 bit operating system against the 64 bit versions of Office and AutoCAD? I’m going to try this out but I wondered whether someone knew of any problems?

  Is storing secret keys (internal use passwords and such) on iPhone source code and project resources (such as plist files) secure? Obviously nothing is 100% secure, but can this information be extracted easily from an installed app? How do you recommend storing these keys to use them in the source code?
