  This is a simple Question (lets see) I want to bind bitmap image to Image. For doing this in cs code u must write this line. this.leftImage.Source = new BitmapImage(new Uri(@"C:\a.bmp")); But I want make Binding from resources. Because In release time resources became part of project.exe file and if you make binding from file(Mean set Image.source with Image file address), you must always put image file in the same address(disaster programing) :)

• License plate recognition

  As a side-project I'm trying to create an app that scans license plates from passing cars from my living-room window. I have hooked up a high resolution camera to my system to capture (moving) images into my c# app. Now all I need is a way to interpret these images into something readable. I´m thinking about some sort of OCR-solution that is fast/accurate enough for moving images. Hope you can give me some direction!

The first project runs and displays fine over the web by simply typing in the ip address into the browser but I'm having trouble accessing the second.   Using VS 2008 Have a C++ class in which I'm calling functions from a 3rd party dll. So, now that I know the basic code works, I open a dll project using the class header and code file. Course I have to add the dll macro, namely: #ifdef IMAGEDLL_EXPORTS #define DLL __declspec(dllexport) #else #define DLL __declspec(dllimport) #endif and changed the class definition to "class DLL ImageExport". Compiled nicely to a dll and .lib file (No errors, No warnings). Now to test this dll I open another console project using the same main method as before and linking to the (dll) lib file. Had problems, which when tracked down were the result of the two fields not being set; both had values of 0. Went back to the first console app and printed out the values: dwOutputId was 1535 (#define FI_JPEGFIF 1535) and dwSpecType was 2 (#define IOTYPE_ANSIPATH 2). Now if I was assigning these values outside of the class, I can see how the visibility could be different, but why is the assignment in the dll not working? Is it something about having a class in the dll?

I want to drag and drop whole folder (even with sub folders) and keep the structure. • loading an xml in web apps directory from a library dll

  my web application has an xml file here: /files/xml/test.xml I need to load a XDocument from within a class library project, how will I reference the xml? I don't want to pass any path parameters to this method. I want to assume the location is fixed at /files/xml/test.xml. How can I load a XDocument know this? I don't seem to have access to server.mappath either.

  I was doing a project for computer course on programming concepts. This project was to be completed in C++ using Object Oriented designs we learned throughout the course. Anyhow, I have two files symboltable.h and symboltable.cpp. I want to use a map as the data structure so I define it in the private section of the header file. I #include <map> in the cpp file before I #include "symboltable.h". I get several errors from the compiler (MS VS 2008 Pro) when I go to debug/run the program the first of which is: Error 1 error C2146: syntax error : missing ';' before identifier 'table' c:\users\jsmith\documents\visual studio 2008\projects\project2\project2\symboltable.h 22 Project2 To fix this I had to #include <map> in the header file, which to me seems strange. • Showing solution path in VS2008 window name

  Is there a way to display the path of the solution in the Visual Studio window's name? By default it displays (SolutionName) - Microsoft Visual Studio, I would like it to instead show something like (SolutionName) - (PathToSolution) - Microsoft Visual Studio. The reason behind this is I can have multiple versions of a project checked out at a time (staging and trunk for example) and I'd like a quick way of checking without going through prompts etc.

Now, the wicked bug: - when I run the startRecognition method in the beginning of the execution of the other application, this codes works very well. But when I run it some time after the beginning, this codes works but the handleRecognition method is never called. I see that the words are recognized because they appear on the Microsoft Speech Recognition app, but the handler method is never called. Do you know what's the problem with this code? NOTE: this project has some code that is allways being executed. Might that be the problem? Because the other code is running it doesn't allow it to this to run?
