Or is it just the (ugly) interface that class exposes that justifies the birth of 3rd party http lib? Disclosure: I heard some arguments against java.net having some serious problems, but I'm finding hard to believe that a class that is part of the java core distribution still has issues after several releases of the JDK

    Hi, I have this device that sends XML data to a webserver in format as follows POST HTTP/1.1 Content-Type:text/xml Content-Length:369 Followed by XML The problem here is that apache simply sends 400 error for this and does not work. Is there anyway to create netcat to read xml and send to php? Any other solution welcome! Is it better to run php to listen to Port? in that case will multiple requests at the same time work?

What do those numbers mean?

  • Apache shows different sites on same vhost

    on a plesk 9.3.0 running Apache on CentOS I have 6 vhosts setup. All of them run wordpress, installed via installatron. Sometimes, when I request mynewsite.com (last site created) it instead shows firstsite.com (first site setup in this VPS). this only happens on mynewsite.com. It has never occurred on any of the other sites in this VPS. I am baffled. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

    I have just moved my code over to a new server (running on Apache 2.2.3), and PHP's DOM functions are now returning "Fatal error: Class 'DOMDocument' not found". I did some research and it appears that the installation I am now on does not have PHP's DOM functions enabled. I need to enable these functions, so what is the quickest way to go about this?     I am using camel 2.9.0 in my project. We have a number of routes divided into different camel contexts. Each camel context is bundled separately and deployed in Apache Karaf. Now the problem is divied into 2 parts: 1.) Each route is a scheduled route. Although using Quartz component, we are able to define a cron expressio in each route, we want a console where in we can trigger,stop any route and also put a cron expression to any route.(Scheduling a route through a web console is our main objective). 2.) Also we tried to configure the cron expression for each route through quartz.property. But if someone wants to change the cron expression at runtime in Apache Karaf, then we have to stop the bundle deployed and start in again. What can be done to change the value of cron expression at runtime. Any replies and help would be appreciable. Piyush

    On Win32 I'm getting intermittent output like this at page header: order allow,deny deny from allorder allow,deny deny from all I'm running php script which has number of .htaccess files in each subfolder. I need to understand why sometimes apache is just dumping me a content of this files. So just wondering if there is any way to enable debug log. I've tried ErrorLog "e:/wamp/logs/apache_error.log" LogLevel debug However can't see any debug output neither in error nor in access logs. Thanks

    Hi, I have an Apache server installed on my windows machine using XAMPP. Now I'm trying to use a premade .htaccess file for one of my projects, but it doesn't seem to be seeing it.
