    Hello everyone :) I'm trying to speedup directory enumeration in C++, where I'm recursing into subdirectories. I currently have an app which spends 95% of it's time in FindFirst/FindNextFile APIs, and it takes several minutes to enumerate all the files on a given volume. I know it's possible to do this faster because there is an app that does: Everything. It enumerates my entire drive in seconds. How might I accomplish something like this?

Doing my first tryouts with foreign keys in a mySQL database and are trying to do a insert, that fails for this reason: Integrity constraint violation: 1452 Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails Does this mean that foreign keys restrict INSERTS as well as DELETES and/or UPDATES on each table that is enforced with foreign keys relations? I have this code <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/ico" href="img/favicon.ico"> And for some reason Firefox shows the favicon fine, but on webkit browsers its not showing up. I tried Google Chrome and Safari on a Mac and its not showing up, do I need to do something for these browsers?

  • Dojo Tooltips missing the mark sometimes

    Hi everyone, I'm using tooltips for icons that are displayed in a dijit.Dialog. Sometimes they work just fine, but other times they get placed around 25 to 50 pixels further away from the target than they should be. I can't see any pattern to when this happens.     Having created a System.Messaging.MessageQueue using the MessageQueue(string queuePath) constructor, attempting to use MessageQueue.Send(obj) results in a 'Unable to generate a temporary class (result=1)' exception with the additional text: 'error CS0122: 'System.__ComObject' is inaccessible due to its protection level'. The queue itself has full control given to EVERYONE. When querying the MessageQueue object for it's read write permissions, it returns SendAndReceive. What causes this error and how do you resolve it?

    Hey everyone, I'm currently playing around with tipfy on Google's Appengine and just recently ran into a problem: I can't for the life of me find any documentation on how to use GET variables in my application, I've tried sifting through both tipfy and Werkzeug's documentations with no success. I know that I can use request.form.get('variable') to get POST variables and **kwargs in my handlers for URL variables, but that's as much as the documentation will tell me. Any ideas?

    I need to require a domain name in my symfony routing, my route looks like the following: domain_example: url: /routing/example/:domain_name param: { module: myModule, action: index, sf_format: json } requirements: { domain_name: '/^[a-z0-9]+([\-\.]{1}[a-z0-9]+)*\.[a-z]{2,5}$/' } I have also tried: requirements: { domain_name: '[/^[a-z0-9]+([\-\.]{1}[a-z0-9]+)*\.[a-z]{2,5}$/]' } If I call my route like so: mydomain.com/routing/example/otherdomain.com - I just get the module/action does not exist exception. Now, i figure out that i have to write buddy class for every model or i have to go to designer generated code and put my annotations there (not a good idea though). if someone can suggest me a solution that helps me avoid writing those buddy classes and get the same functionality. I'd been advised by one of your members to try extracting GPU clock speeds using SetupDiEnumDeviceInfo.     Hi everyone, I was wondering if converting POST input from an HTML form into html entities, (via the PHP function htmlentities() or using the FILTER_SANITIZE_SPECIAL_CHARS constant in tandem with the filter_input() PHP function ), will help defend against any attacks where a user attempts to insert any JavaScript code inside the form field or if there's any other PHP based function or tactic I should employ to create a safe HTML form experience?
