• Reading Foxpro database date field using PHP

  I've wrote a PHP script to export a Foxpro database to other formats by using ADODB (http://phplens.com/lens/adodb) library to access Foxpro OLE DB provider. Everything worked fine except the date fields are mangled and become like these: 11/17-/2-00 3/4/-20-08 By comparing to actual data I can guess that it is probably in the format of MM/DD/YYYY or m/d/YYYY. How can I properly export the date field?

Because when we tried to allocate memory using an malloc(), the kernel allowed to allocated around 124 MB of memory, and when we try to write into it, the kernel crashed.   Is there a way to make jQuery use objects in a conditional statement as an object in a hierarchy. For Example, I want to validate that something exist then tell it to do something just using the this selector. • why jsessionid is appended to each url?

  greetings all i am deploying an app using spring framework on the apache tomcat when running the application from the tomcat directly,there's no jsessionid appended to any url at all but after mapping the application to the domain,and trying to run it i got a jsessionid appended to each url in the application,i tried the spring security attribute disable-url-rewriting but it doesn't work,it removes the jsessionid from the url but the application doesn't work no more,the user cannot login. so i guess it's another problem,any ideas why this happens,how to solve it? thanks.

  Does merge sort work by; taking a list of values splitting it in to two take the first element of each list, the lowest value one goes in to a new list(and i guess removed from the original). comare the next two numbers - do this until one list is empty, then place the rest of the other list at the end ofthe nw list? • Optimizing UITableView

  I have a UITableview made up with a custom cell loaded from a nib. This custom cell has 9 UILabel s and thats all. When scrolling the table on my iPhone the tables scrolling motion is slightly jerky, its not as smooth as other tableviews! (On the simulator it scrolls fine but I guess its using the extra power of my mac) Are there any tips to help optimize this or any tableview or methods to help find the bottleneck. Many Thanks

• How do I rebuild MFC project in x64?

  I have project in MFC that works fine in x32. I used the configuration manager to change the project to x64, then I tried to rebuild the project. the result was "unresolved external symbol" for many MFC function. I guess that I miss something here in the Tools/Option toolbar with x64 platform but I don't know what. P.S. win32 console application works fine when I change the platfrom to x64

  hi, im a bit new at extension development, but im about to embark upon a project to build a ffox extension. Does anyone know if its possbile, with minimal adaption, to make a firefox extension compatible with ie8 as a plugin and if so, are there any caveats i should be aware of?   I have a .ddb file that is used as a telephone directory for an application written in flash/VB.net (i guess). The problem is that the application is crashing and my only was to access the application is through the mysterious (*.ddb) file (99% of the application size.)   Is there a Java convention to refer to methods, static and otherwise, any specific one or the whole overload, etc? e.g. String.valueOf - referring to all overloads of static valueOf String.valueOf(char) - specific overload, formal parameter name omittable? String.split - looks like a static method, but actually an instance method Maybe aString.split is the convention? • debugging native code (C++) using gdb on android with Eclipse. Is it possible?

  Hi, I have some piece of code which uses JNI. I can debug code wrote in Java directly in Eclipse (using ADT). I even have a script, which help me debug native code with gdb. However this is not very comfortable way for doing this. Is it possible to configure Eclipse to use gdb (I guess gdbserver) for debbuging android native applications? Do you know where I could find any description of this?
