  • Using sound forge 6.0 what will be the need to upgrade to latest version

    I had been using sound forge 6.0 not recently but long back. I edit mp3 files for my purpose and some more filters like flange, pan, fade in out, recording, line in recording, extracting sound from video files (mpg, avi(divx), etc...), increasing the default volume, editing treble and bass effects, and etc... I am not going to use it professionally. I use it just like that. Now when i checked i could see Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 is the latest version for my purpose. Others are too high i think. Besides, i had been using Gold Wave version 4 very extensively just to edit sound files mostly mp3. and here is the reason for me to change to sound forge. It is when we edit mp3 files it deflashes(making it raw i think) before editing. after editing if i save it asks for the format to save and i will choose mp3. At this point it again applies the compression process which makes the sound file lossy. When i did the same with sound forge it did not deflash. It just edited the file as mp3.     I am using common-HttpClient ver 3.1. All my requests are having correct (default) Http version in the request line i.e Http/1.1 except fot 1 request.   • So I want to separate my Program Files from the hard disk with the other system files. What is the b

    So I am running Windows 7 as my only OS. I have two hard drives on my computer. The first one is a 74GB Western Digital 10K RPM Raptor. The second one is a 1TB Seagate Barracuda (couldn't remember if it was a 7200.12 or some other decimal after the 7200). The OS in installed to the Raptor and I am just using the Barracuda for storage. With this setup, in case you couldn't guess already, the Raptor fills up quick and I am constantly having to maintain file locations. And although it is nice to have that quicker boot time and program loading, the time spent maintaining the drive makes me waste more time overall. So I am looking for a way to try to keep it clear while still keeping up system loading speeds. A performance hit on games and such is easily acceptable and as long as I can guarantee a 5GB space on the Raptor, I can always just temporarily move the disc image there. So I am figuring that having games installed like Boarderlands and Mass Effect, as well as having large files such as linux distro DVD disc images in My Documents, I probably should be moving my personal files and Program Files directories to the Barracuda. I currently have folders on the Barracuda for this, but this means routinely copying files over and I can't really do anything with the Program Files folder that already exists. The best I can do is remember to designate the install directory of any program installation to the alternative install directory, which I can't seem to get to ever work right with Steam. With that in mind, is there a way that is not too drastic to let me just change some folders and system settings once and everything works fine afterwards for my setup? I have considered just reinstalling Windows 7 to the Barracuda but that would defeat the purpose of the Raptor except for running disc images off of. I am also heard a bit about being able to use symlinks to fix this, but I have also heard that symlinks in Windows are not necessarily the same and not as well supported on Windows. An example a friend mentioned was something about how if you have a symlink in Windows on a small hard drive to a large hard drive and the contents the symlink points to is larger than the small hard drive's capacity, then Windows will think the smaller hard drive is full. So is there a fix/workaround that will let me use symlinks across hard drives without the issues or is there a better solution I am not being told about, not mentioning, or not thinking of?

  • git init --bare permission denied on 16gb USB stick

    I am using GIT on a Windows 7 machine (64 bit) and have been learning how to use GIT to version control my files. Now I want to be able to create a --bare repository on an external device (in this case a 16gb USB stick) but unfortunately when I try to create a --bare repository on it I get the following error: f:/: Permission denied I am using the GIT Bash program which is installed with GIT on Windows machines, so these are the commands I am typing in (I am also opening the program as administrator by holding ctrl + shift when I open it) cd /f git init --bare f:/: Permission denied However if I create a normal repository it works just fine: cd /f git init Initialized empty repository in f:/.git/ Can anybody shed some light on why I can't create a --bare repository? Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Again WPA Connection problem even after changed to latest version ..please help

    I am using hostapd, wireless tools with madwifi for my wireless ap in my board. The WEP, WPA-PSK connections and communications between my board with linux and my desktop PC, Windows XP SP2 (with Olitec USB wireless) are fine. But when I configured the WPA type, the connection seems established but shows the status "TKIP - Key Absent" in the security dialog box. Anyone faced this problem?   • Fragment Shader Eye-Space unscaled depth coordinate

    I'm trying to use the unscaled (true distance from the front clipping plane) distance to objects in my scene in a GLSL fragment shader. The gl_FragCoord.z value is smaller than I expect. In my vertex shader, I just use ftransform() to set gl_Position. I'm seeing values between 2 and 3 when I expect them to be between 15 and 20. How can I get the real eye-space depth? Thanks!

    I have 3 versions of Visual Studio installed, and 3 projects that require a specific version. VSLauncher USED to look at the SLN or VCPROJ file and open the correct version of Visual Studio. Now it only starts the most recent version, regardless of the project. Note that this has nothing to do with the commonly reported problem with beta versions of VS. none of the SLNs have ever been touched by a beta VS.

Apache APR, for example, use the well known version numbering scheme <major>.<minor>.<patch> example: 4.5.11 Maven suggests a similar but more detailed schema: <major>.<minor>.<patch>-<qualifier>-<build number> example: 4.5.11-RC1-3732 Where is the Maven versioning scheme defined? Are there conventions for qualifier and build number? Probably it is a bad idea to use maven but not to follow the Maven version scheme ... What other version numbering schemes do you know?     I have been developing my app for around two months, in the last week i have started getting the following error when trying to compile and run the app from Eclipse: java.io.IOException: Unable to upload file: No space left on device The APK comes out at 3.6Mb and the emulator is a recently created fresh one with 512Mb SD card and other specs identical to the G1. Can anyone suggest a reason this might be happening?

    Hi After trying out VS2010b2 also my VS2008 installation changes the versions of solution and project files to "Version 10.00". The MSBuild.exe on our CI Server does not support them. Is there a way to make VS2008 generate sln files with version number 9.00 again? I know, i can fix that manually. But each time I open a solution, the version gets changed back, which is annoying.     Possible Duplicate: Tell the version of Windows XP (64-bits or 32-bits) Is it possible to determine whether a given installation of Windows is 32- or 64-bit? From right-clicking on My Computer, and selecting Properties, it appears that such information is not readily available. Typing ver at the command prompt also doesn't seem to return anything about the nature of the platform in which it is installed. Under Linux, I'd use uname -a to find out what kernel was running. Is there an analog on Windows?

    I have a flash movie, height = 151px width = 228, this is placed within a table cell ( cellpadding = 0 cellspacing = 0 vertical-align = top), but when it displays within the explorer windows there is a white space about 20px above the flash movie. I believe it's caused by the negative relative positions I've made but I'm not sure how to solve this problem. Should I change my codes in any way?
