    These have been plaguing me endlessly. Why? It seems that my console can't handle the encoding. I take it that the my browser and word processor can handle it. I don't have a master list of all the possible characters that it's choking on. What is the best way to relieve this without modifying my data? 'charmap' codec can't encode character u'\xca'

  • Extending Django Flatpages to accept template tags

    I use django flatpages for a lot of content on our site, I'd like to extend it to accept django template tags in the content as well. I found this snippet but after much larking about I couldn't get it to work. Am I correct in assuming that you would need too "subclass" the django flatpages app to get this to work? Is this best way of doing it? I'm not quite sure how to structure it, as I don't really want to directly modify the django distribution.

  • Get error with connect to server “Trust anchor for certification path not found.”

    I wrote code in android for connecting to server with ssl, I use BKS algorithm, I can create socket but when I send data to switch, I get this error javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found. It is wonderful for me, I can connect to another server in local network with another BKS file and I can get response from that server, but with correct certificate in outside network, I cannot connect to another server, is it possible with network problem? Also I need to call regasm.exe for an assembly; can I do this using InstallShield? I really need a new 'component' for each assembly that has to be registered in GAC?

    I want to make a widget that displays a column of selectable text data. It seems that the NSBrowser is the best cocoa object to do this but I cannot figure out how to populate the NSBrowser with any sort of data. I assume I can set the string value of an NsBrowserCell but no where in the documentation can I find where to add a new cell to a column. Am I using the wrong object?

    I'm using a custom pixel font on the iPad SDK, and I'm trying to find a way to disable font anti-aliasing for UIFont. Pixel fonts usually work best when they don't have Anti-aliasing. I disable it easily in Photoshop when I create static resources, but this time I need a dynamic output with the custom font. Any ideas? Thanks.

I used the custom form and custom backend from that post and the widget and field from this tutorial. My form is displaying properly with the recaptcha widget but when I submit it throws the error about the missing IP. What's the best way to pass the IP using django-registration?

  • Using branched svn repository in Eclipse without Subversive/Subclipse

    How can I use a new branch in Eclipse if I'm not using Subversive or Subclipse? Do I have to checkout the new branch and import that as a new project into Eclipse? Is there an easier way to do it, or is using Subversive or Subclipse the only reasonable way? I know there are many discussions on the pros/cons of Subversive or Subclipse - I'm not asking which one would be best (although I will probably go with Subclipse if needed), and I'm not able to switch to a DVCS.
