  • Changing Form Size in VS 2008

    good morning all :) was wondering if anyone can tell me how come I cant get my windows form size to go to 1280x 768 in vs 2008? My resolution that I am working on is 1024x768..but the computer that I am going to be running this program on is a wide screen..1280x768. I try to change it in properties but it keeps defaulting back to 1036x760.

    im making an image button like this: <input type="image" src="red.jpeg" width="150px"> but it is displaying the original image size which is much larger, if i put: <img src="red.jpeg" width="150px"> it displays the image 150px wide as i want, what do you guys think is the problem with this? I have tried styling it with a class and CSS but not working either, please help me with this, im going nuts!!

    I need to generate different assembly names depending on the platform target. For example, I have a console application "bob.exe". Instead of building for AnyCPU, I need to build explicitly for x86 and x64 and thus want "bob32.exe" and "bob64.exe". The Application tab in Visual Studio 2010 project options disables the Platform combobox. Build Events also don't allow options per platform so I can't rename it afterwards very easily.

    Does the Visual Studio 2008 debugger implicitly cast all smaller data types to int? I have a function with the following signature: public int DoSomething(sbyte value) { ... } When pass in -127 and I look at the value argument the Visual Studio debugger (e.g. Watch window) shows me that it has the value 0xFFFFFF81. This is correct except for the fact that sbyte is only 8 bits wide; I would expect the debugger to show me that it is 0x81.

    I'm working at a java application that performs some xslt transformation. I would like to match nodes into the xslt document, using a parameter provided by java. Which is the right way to do something like: <xsl:template match="//m:properties/*[contains($pattern,name())]"> because when I launch my application, it claims it's not able to compile the stylesheet, since pattern is not defined but I'm setting it using the setParameter method and I was able to use another parameter defined in the same way but in a different context.     Hello! I have compiled my Qt application and now have the following question - now my built project requires QtCore4.dll and QtGui4.dll to be located at the same folder where the .exe file is. (I built my project using MSVS2008 with Qt addon) Q: Is there any way to combine my final application with these .dll files so that they make one large .exe-file? (I simply don't want to have another bunch of dll files with my release - app) Thank you.

    we have a .net framework application with a vc dll and a vc ocx, and now if we only import one dll ,it is ok, but when we import both, it will pop a messagebox saying: Debug Assertion Failed! and i studied the child module of our application that import the vc dll, i found after the framework import vc ocx and initialize , then the function LoadLibrary in our module importing the vc dll would return 0, that means memory limited or call improperly, i use getlasterror() the error code is 1114. so it is very frustrated ,hope someone can help me.

    My phonegap application works great but there is a glitch when it is sent to the background or "paused". When focused is returned to the app a high percentage of the time the interface is frozen and then the application crashes a few seconds later. When relaunched it is working fine again. I have read after installation the libs gets extracted to /data/data/application_package/lib How can I get the exact path to this directory in my application at run time? Is this directory readable by the application? Or is only executeable access allowed? If it is readable - Is this still true for copy protected applications?
