• Print specific part of webpage

  I'm trying to print a specific part of my application. The application has a list of users, displaying their first and last name. When I click a user I get a popup with more detailed information about them. How would I go about printing just the popup for a user I clicked? • How to trigger Mouse-Over on iPhone?

  This might seem like a really dumb question, but I am writing an application and I have come across where my mouse-over, mouse-click and mouse-hover need different events bound to them. Now on Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. It all works as expected. However, on my iPhone the actions will not trigger. Now my question is are their any specific ways I can have the Mouse-Over essentially be fired when I hold my finger down and trigger an event? An example where this doesn't work is right on this website when you hover over a comment it is supposed to display the +1 or flag icon. I am using jquery.

• Create web page launcher, losing focus

  I have created a php webpage. I now want to create a launcher application in android phone, it simply opens the browser with the url "http://<mywebsite>/m". I use uri intent to launch the browser in onCreate function. public void onCreate(...) { .... startActivity(new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, new Uri(http://<mywebsite>/m))); ... } I execute this program in my G1 phone (Cyan Mod 5). However, when I click the "Home" key, and then re-enter my application through Task list, I lose focus for my last started browser, and the screen blank Any suggestion?! Should I need any code in onResume function to re-focus my web!?

  I have page1.aspx and page2.aspx in a website I need to navigate as: Page1-- Page 2(on click of go back button, back to page1)-- page 1 I am using jQuery code to navigate: var pagename= "page2.aspx"; jQ(location).attr('href', pagename); I tried using same code in page2 to navigate back to page 1: var path2 = "page1.aspx"; jq(location).attr('href', path2); also tried below code and similar few others as well. document.location.pathname = '../Pages/page1.aspx'; But all it does is, navigate me to show Directory Listing, where it shows all page names under pages folder. Is there anything wrong with the code ? I tried to do it as per levels too, that is ../pages/page1.aspx .

• CSS Position Help (horizontal sidebar showing up when animate content over)

  Let me try my best to explain what I'd like to have happen, show you the code I have an hopefully I can get some help. So, I'm trying to do a sliding navigation UI from the left side of the screen (like a lot of mobile apps). The main content slides over, displaying the navigation menu beneath. Right now the browser thinks the screen is getting wider and introduces a horizontal scroll bar. However, I don't want that to happen... How do I get the div to animate off screen but not enlarge the width of the screen (i.e. keep it partially off screen)? • Oauth2 External Browser Request - App Launches, Credentials received, Browser Not Updated

  I'm using an external browser request to authenticate myself with the SoundCloudAPI in OSX. My app launches, and has a button that opens an external browser window to authenticate against SoundCloud. When I click "connect" in the new window, I get a "External Protocol Request" that is consistent with my custom launch URI scheme. Clicking this loads the app, and it gets the correct credentials. The trouble is, the browser window never changes - it simply says that it's connecting forever. There is no "connection confirmed" alert coming from SoundCloud. I know I'm logged in because I can make the correct calls to the API to get things such as my username. Why isn't the browser confirming the connection or dismissing? The same thing happens if I load the authentication in an internal WebView in the app.

• sirf 2 : flash fonts not showing up in div popups in IE6

  Hello I'm using version 2.X of sifr and have some div pop-ups with headings where i want to use the flash movies. problem is that flash movies show up in the div pop-ups in all browsers except in IE6. i see the blank space and when i right-click i get the flash movie menu but no headings text at all. its all blank. • Having onFocus do several things.

  So I have this input tag <input ... onFocus=...> and what I want is for a warning popup to come up if somebody clicks to write in the input field. After the person has read the warning he/she closes the popup and can continue to write in the field. I have managed to implement the popup just fine but my problem is that I lose focus on the input field when the popup comes up so the next time I click the field the popup comes back again and im back on square one. The system I work on uses php and javascript so and I cannot use anything other than that to solve the problem and my experience with both php and javascript is limited.

  I'm pretty new to regular expressions, and MAN do they give me a headache. They are so intimidating! For an email campaign I'm doing, a user will click a link out of the email with a few URL parameters filled in for them, to make filling out a form easier. I want to prevent any injection hacks or whatever it's called, but need to allow the $_GET parameters to be alphanumeric, have punctuation, and have spaces. If someone has a good method for this, I'd appreciate it, but right now I have: foreach($_GET as $m=>$n) { $get[$m] = preg_replace('(^[a-z0-9 \-\_\.]+)i',' ',$n); } I would like to be able to replace all characters NOT found with this regular expression, which I believe I use ?!, but I can't get that to work either.   I'm trying to import one of the GWT samples into Eclipse by following the instructions below. But when I browse to the directory containing the "Hello" sample and uncheck "Copy projects into workspace", the Finish button is grayed out, preventing me from completing the import. Any ideas why? -- Option A: Import your project into Eclipse (recommended) -- If you use Eclipse, you can simply import the generated project into Eclipse. We've tested against Eclipse 3.3 and 3.4. Later versions will likely also work, earlier versions may not. In Eclipse, go to the File menu and choose: File - Import... - Existing Projects into Workspace Browse to the directory containing this file, select "Hello". Be sure to uncheck "Copy projects into workspace" if it is checked. Click Finish.

  I just had an interesting experience with a startup form in MS Access 2010. I designed a login form and when I thought I was done I set my startup form to be the login form I'd just created. I then closed Access and reopened it but my login form did not appear. Instead the whole GUI was locked. I cannot click on anything. My form was working during my tests before I set it as a startup form and reloaded Access. How can I either remove my form as a startup object or get the use of my GUI back?

  In my application I have a button. If the button is clicked as select against a database is executed and the result is shown in a ListView. As the select is quite complex, it takes some time to retrieve the data. When I click the Button, the Application-Window should be disabled until the data is loaded. But when I set the IsEnabled-Property of the Window to false, the Window gets disabled after the data is loaded. I tried to disable the Window in an other thread with a BackgroundWorker. But then I get an exception that the Window is alreay in use by an other thread. How can I disable the Window bevore it retrieves the data?

• Excel isn't reading sql exported csv properly

  I have a batch file that calls sqlcmd to run a command and then export the data as a csv. When viewed in a cell the trasancted date for example shows 35:30.0 but if you click on it the formula bar shows 1/1/1900 2:45:00 PM. I need the full timestamp to show in the cell. Any ideas? The batch file is the following sqlcmd -S server -U username -P password -d database -i "D:\path\sqlScript.sql" -s "," > D:\path\report.csv -I -W -k 1 The script is the following. Now I currently have them cast as varchars, but that's simply because i've tried to change it a bit. Varchar doesn't work either.
