• Report Viewer Configuration error - In View Source of webpage

  I found the following error message when I checked View source of the web page , but the web page works just fine. Our Test lead found the error while performing Assertion tests. Report Viewer Configuration Error The Report Viewer Web Control HTTP Handler has not been registered in the application's web.config file. Note:There is a div tag around this error message which has style="display:none" I am trying to find out why but everybody has only discussed this error message as one which is thrown in the webpage. The changes suggested to web.config are already present in our config file.

  The input list can be more than 1 million numbers. When I run the following code with smaller 'repeats', its fine; def sample(x): length = 1000000 new_array = random.sample((list(x)),length) return (new_array) def repeat_sample(x): i = 0 repeats = 100 list_of_samples = [] for i in range(repeats): list_of_samples.append(sample(x)) return(list_of_samples) repeat_sample(large_array) However, using high repeats such as the 100 above, results in MemoryError.   I have a PHP code that will return a image. the link is given to 3rd party. so, i need to keep track where the php request coming from. Because the PHP only return the image, I cannot use the Javascript code for Google analytics. I know that I can get the information from the access.log, but i think I can't dump the access.log to GA for analyzing, right? so, is there a way that I can do in PHP (e.g. sending a CURL ), send somethig to Google Analytics for tracking?

  I have a string, dictionary in the form: ('the head', {'exploded': (3.5, 1.0), 'the': (5.0, 1.0), "puppy's": (9.0, 1.0), 'head': (6.0, 1.0)}) Each parentheses is a tuple which corresponds to (score, standard deviation). I'm taking the average of just the first integer in each tuple. I am not sure what the best practice is and would like to ask you experts opinions. • Get ANSI-colored output from external command

  I am writing a small script for watchr that runs my PHP unit tests. Current script runs tests using system() and displays them colored. I am trying to add libnotify functionality, but for that I need to parse the output and match against regexp, so that notification will either display green or red. system() doesn't return output, %x does return, but puts p doesn't display colors, which I need to quickly see which test failed. One option would be to run tests twice - once for display in terminal window, and second time for checking which notification to show, but I would rather avoid it.

  Hi, I have an app that loads an ajax form when a button is clicked. I then want to check a value in that ajax loaded form called "comment_content" so that I don't send an ajax request if the comment_content is empty. I can capture the form submission using the live method, however, I can't capture the form element because it needs an element. I was looking at livequery but was wondering if there is a more efficient way by using live or if that I shouldn't even bother? • what is a root directory in IIS 6 and How do I make one of my subfolder in ASP.NET website the root directory?

  I need to integrate a third party plugin in my asp.net website. To install the plugin, they have mentioned this sentence, "Create an application through your IIS control panel with root directory at -(some path from my website folder)?". I am not much aware with IIS and rarely worked with it. Though I tried every possible way i could do in IIS, I am not able to work it out. After installation, there is a test page provided by plugin which i have to run to check but when I run it, it shows this error. "It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS." I searched this error too and found that it is because the two Web.Config file, one from the main project and another from plugin folder. The only way to work with this is to make the plugin folder they specified as root directory in IIS. Someone kindly tell me some easy steps to do this. What I was doing is, in IIS6, I added New website with the main folder of my asp.net website, then I right clickadd application and choosed the gievn path, thought it would become root directory but it ain't. Help would be appreciated. ALso note that, i have to put the plugin folder in my main website folder only. So, there are two web.config. I tried to rename one of them too, it solved the above error but gave another errors but I think main problem is of root directory. P.S they show me above error on web.config file of plugin folder on this sentence- "Line 51: < authentication mode="Windows" />"

  I'm running into an odd issue in Objective-C when I have two classes using initializers of the same name, but differently-typed arguments. I did some stepping through the debugger and found that the isa pointer for both a and b objects ends up the same. I also found out that if I no longer make the alloc and init calls inline, both initializations seem to work properly, e.g.: A *a = [A alloc]; [a initWithNum:20.0f]; If I use this convention when I create both a and b, I get the right output and the isa pointers seem to be different for each object. Am I doing something wrong? I would have thought multiple classes could have the same initializer names, but perhaps that is not the case.

Anyways, could somebody please tell me how to get this program to run WinMain first (I do have a reason for using both). I'm running windows 7 with mingw if that helps anything.

• Extension method question. Why do I need to use someObj = someObj.somemethod();

  Hi All, I have a simple extension method that I would like to use to add an item to an array of items. public static T[] addElement<T>(this T[] array, T elementToAdd) { var list = new List<T>(array) {elementToAdd}; return list.ToArray(); } this works ok, but when I use it, I am having to set the array equal to the return value. I see that I am returning an Array. I likely want this method to be void, but I would like the item added. Does anyone have any ideas on what I need to do , to make this work the way I am wanting? Instead of someArray = someArray.addElement(item), I just want to do someArray.addElement(item) and then someArray be ready to go. What am I missing here? Thanks, ~ck in San Diego

• Simple RSA encryption (Java)

  This is simply for fun. This will not be used for any actual encryption. I'm only first year comp sci student and love cryptography. This took a long time to get working. At approximately N = 18, it begins breaking down. It won't encrypt messages properly after that point. I'm not sure why. Any insights?   I am solving the Erdos number problem from the programming challenges in JAVA. The code runs perfectly in my machine. However on the online judge it results in a runtime error. • PHP file outside doc root needs files outside and inside the document root

  I have a library of classes, all interrelated. Some files are inside the document root and some are outside using the <Directory> and Alias features in httpd.conf Assuming I have 3 files: webroot.php (Inside the document root) alias_directory.php (Inside a folder outside the doc root) alias_directory2.php (Inside a **different** folder outside the doc root) If alias_directory2.php needs both webroot.php and alias_directory.php, This does not work. (Remember alias_directory.php and alias_directory2.php are not in the same locations) require_once $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/webroot.php'; //(ok) require_once $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/alias_directory.php'; //(not ok) This does not work because alias_directory.php is not in the doc root. Similarly require_once $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/webroot.php'; //(ok) require_once dirname(__FILE__).'/alias_directory.php'; //(not ok) The problem here is that dirname(__FILE__) will return the path for alias_directory2.php not alias_directory.php. This works: require_once $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/webroot.php'; //(ok) require_once '/full/path/to/directory/alias_directory.php'; //(ok) But is very nasty and is a maintenance nightmare if I decide to move my library to another location. How do I solve this problem, is seems that I need a way to resolve an Alias folder properly.
