• Best way of invoking getter by reflection

  Hello, I need to get the value of a field with a specific annotation, So with reflection I am able to get this Field Object. The problem is that this field will be always private though I know in advance it will always have a getter method. I know that I can use setAccesible(true) and get its value (when there is no PermissionManager), though I prefer to invoke its getter method. I know that I could look for the method by looking for "get+fieldName" (though I know for example for boolean fields are sometimes named as "is+fieldName"). I wonder if there is a better way to invoke this getter (many frameworks use getters/setters to access the attributes so maybe they do in another way). Thanks

  I'm developing a custom ASP.Net WebPart using the WebPartManager and I'm creating a custom EditorPart too. For its EditorPart.ApplyChanges method I set the return value to false whenever there is an error. In the EditorZone I get a standard error message indicating that some error happened to the editor, but I want to change that message. Is that possible? • Check for new mails in Hotmail using OpenPop.NET

  I was advised to use OpenPop lib to fetch my mail from hotmail. But I could'nt find any better way to check for new mail except disconnecting and reconnecting again. And there, I found a problem, Hotmail doesn't allow more than 1 pop3 login each 15 minutes. I want to know if it's possible to get the new mail without disconnecting and reconnecting to their pop3 server. • Simple Communication between 2 instances of application

  I have a WPF application that can take a few optional command line arguments. This application is also a single instance application (using a mutex to close any instances if one is already open). What I want for it to do though, is if something tries to open the application with some cmd line args, that the application will do what it's suppose to do with those (in my application it opens different dialogs based on the cmd line). What is the easiest way to achieve this? I have given the [Authorize] attribute for each view index method. After the session complete when we select any view then the page inside the project main page will be redirecting. • Is it possible to use the values method for a HashMap if the values are ArrayLists?

  I'm stuck trying to get something to work in an assignment. I have a HashMap<Integer, ArrayList<Object>> called sharedLocks and I want to check whether a certain value can be found in any ArrayList in the HashMap. The following code obviously wouldn't work because Object[] can't be cast to ArrayList[], but it is a demonstration of the general functionality that I want. ArrayList[] values = (ArrayList[]) sharedLocks.values().toArray(); boolean valueExists = false; for (int i = 0; i < values.length; i++) { if (values[i].contains(accessedObject)) { valueExists = true; } } Is there a way for me to check every ArrayList in the HashMap for a certain value?   Disregard this question: I've simply confused <script src="..."></script> tag and <script> [some functions] </scipt> tags. I have this function function OnLoad() { ShowHideConfirmAnswers(); return true; } triggered by onload event: <body onload=OnLoad()> It works fine until I add src="jquery-1.4.2.js" to the script element. From this moment I get "OnLoad is not defined" error, and the same happens to every other javascript function.

• Creating a Pop up and setting its view state before it displays

  Hi, I am a beginner developer in Flex, and I have been using viewstates lately. I had a couple of custom popup titlewindow components that are initialized using: PopUpManager.createPopUp(this, ContentCreate, true); They both contain view states already, and are very similar so I wanted to combione them into one popup titlewindow and change view state on initialisation of the popup to either the Create version of the popup or the Update. I thought I was being smart haha, but I realized soon after refactoring my code that, I as far as I know I can't pass parameters to the popup to indicate which state I want, if it is created using the PopUpManager. Does anyone know how to pass parameters to the PopupManager, or create the ContentCreate component(TitleWindow) in mxml or code so I can specify the view state?

I need to pass in the name of the calling class to get the association right.   I have a function which checks the passed value and returns false or true, if false I want it to add something to an array. The code I've written is below. if(!check_input($_POST['username'])){ $errors[] = "Username"; } Right now it adds to my array anyway, regardless of what is entered in the form. Is the way I've written that the correct way to check if the return from check_input() is false? I've checked the function's logic by altering the returns to echoes and it's returning the correct value, I'm just not sure if I'm checking it wrong. I'd previously attempted to write it as $X=check_input etc, and then if(check_value == false) but that doesn't seem to give me the desired result either. Hmmm a quick pointer please!

  I do not really know how to explain this in a clear manner. Please see attached image I have a table with 4 different columns, 2 are identical to each other (NAME and QTY). The goal is to compare the differences between the QTY, however, in order to do it. I must: 1. sort the data 2. match the data item by item This is not a big deal with small table but with 10 thousand rows, it takes me a few days to do it. Pleas help me, I appreciate. My logic is: 1. Sorted the first two columns (NAME and QTY) 2. For each value of second two columns (NAME and QTY), check if it match with first two column. If true, the insert the value. 3. For values are not matched, insert to new rows with offset from the rows that are in first two columns but not in second two columns
