  • Unable to get project info and source control from a particular machine

    From one particular machine, accounts are unable to get tfs project info and source control via the visual studio tfs client. The connection with the tfs server is made but the project content remains empty. Web access is possible from this machine. Note: from all other machines everything works normally, so it must be a local machine issue. What might be misconfigured on this machine? Otherwise there seem to be no problems on this XP machine.

    What is Logically correct and W3C valid way to clear float? zoom:1 is not valid by W3C and IE8 don't have hash layout problem overflow:hidden and overflow:hidden were not made to do this,as the spec intended overflow to be used <div class="clear"/> is not semantically correct and i don't want to add extra markup. clearfix hack generates content that really hasn’t any semantic value. I've asked many questions and read many articles on this issue but haven't find best way.

    Hi everybody, I want to have a view with several choices when I click an element of my ListView. I was thinking of implementing an AlertDialog but as I need more than 3 options it is not possible... I also thought of putting my ListView in a FrameLayout and have an view with a gone visibility that I would turn visible at the click and update the content but I don't know If it's a good idea. I know the source of contents are from volunteers (Please correct me if I'm wrong here). But what measures they have to ensure that contents are properly written. Even if they have admin/moderator and all that, they may not be experts in all areas. So how do they validate the appropriateness of the content?

  • buttons inside scrollviewer problem

    Hello, everyone. I couldn't find a solution to my problem eventhough I believe that others have come across this too. Basically, there are like twenty buttons in a wrap panel, which is inside a scrollviewer. The problem is that when I want to scroll the list, the click event fires the triggers.   • Setting background-image with javascript

    In chrome, safari, and opera setting the background image to an absolute reference such as: "/images/image.png" changes it to "http://sitepath/images/image.png". It does not do this in firefox. Is there any way to avoid this behavior, or is it written into the browser's javascript engine? Using jquery to set the background-image also does this problem. The problem is that I am posting the HTML to a php script that needs the urls in this specific format. I know that setting the image path relative fixes this, but I can't do that. The only other alternative would be to use a regexp. to convert the urls. Thanks. I am using a single directory for HTTP and HTTPS content. I would not want to force HTTPS either. How can I fix this?

  • Phantom horizontal scroll bars on the whole window in IE.

    I'm working on a website layout you can find at dev.movingcost.com In most browsers, everything seems fine... but I'm getting a horizontal scroll bar on the window when viewing the page in IE. I'm using a fixed width of 960px with auto margins to center the content. I've even tried using "overflow-x:hidden" on the html and body tags to no avail... any clue where the problem is?
