    I've got a really nasty problem... I wrote a red5 app and so on and it is running perfectly on my local computer. Now the problem occurs = How can I make this program work on a remote server? Local : OSX 10.5 - red5 0.63 Server: CentOS 5 - red5 0.90 Maybe its because of the version difference... but I can't test red5 0.90 locally becaus it won't start up -.-' and I can't install the 0.63 on the server because of missing dependencies (and broken links to them...)

  • Android Mapview panning and zooming too slow........

    I've developed a GPS app in which i record the user roots and show it on the map.......but Panning around on the map when reviewing my route is painfully slow, it takes at least 4 or 5 seconds for the map to respond the finger swipes...... I've overridden the onDraw() method and drawing the lines to show the routes......is there any better way to do this so that panning becomes faster as in "MyTracks"........... Thank you all..... In a normal grails app, there is a conf/Config.groovy file for that, but for a plugin there is none. Is there another way to achieve this ?   • Facebook.php Changed ?

    I am making my first Facebook App and nothing is working as stated in the documentation. As an example, I have facebook.php on my server and am calling this line: $friends = $facebook->api_client->friends_get(); but I get a "call to undefined function friends_get()" I see that there is no "friends_get()" function in the facebook.php. I do see there is a friends.get in that long array... but I'm not sure how to access it?

  • CakePHP: Can I ignore a field when reading the Model from the DB?

    In one of my models, I have a "LONGTEXT" field that has a big dump of a bunch of stuff that I never care to read, and it slows things down, since I'm moving much more data between the DB and the web app. Is there a way to specify in the model that I want CakePHP to simply ignore that field, and never read it or do anything with it? I really want to avoid the hassle of creating a separate table and a separate model, only for this field. Thanks! Daniel
