  • Silverlight 4 Treeview MVVM WCF

    I'm having an issue with the treeview control from the silverlight 4 toolkit. I can't get it to view to display my data correctly, the toplevel items are shown but the childnodes are nowhere to be seen. More info: I have a wcf service that delivers a list of Categories with nested subcategories to my viewmodel (I made sure to explicitly include my subcategory data).     i am trying to develop website using zend framework so i had created one index.php file where all my requests goes and c.reated two controller one is IndexController and other is TestController Class IndexController extends Zend_Controller_Action{ public function indexAction(){ echo "Index Index Jamla"; } public function displayAction(){ echo "Index Display Jamla"; } } now when i access the url http://test/ it correctly calls IndexController and its IndexAction function but when i access the url http://test/index/index it displays the message url /index/index was not found on this server same it does when i access http://test/test/index though http://test/ is equivalent to http://test/index/index

    Hi I know how to write to console but if I write to console in my program and call my program from the command line it won't display anything. How do I make it so that when I say Console.WriteLine or Console.Out.Writeline ir prints to the command prompt from which it was called and not somewhere else? Once again I know how to do Console.WriteLine so it's not that :-p unless I'm doing it wrong. From what I can tell it's probably something to do with Console.SetOut(TextWriter t)

    I have a scenario where I would like to randomize the display of some items. Given a Parent item, how can I randomly select one of its child items? Of course I could load ALL the children and apply some random index or whatnot... but that would be wildly inefficient. I'm wondering if this is also inefficient: Parent.Children[random(Parent.Children.Count)]? At what point do the items get loaded when you access Parent.Children?

  • Most efficient way to draw circles for polygon outlines

    I'm using OpenGL and was told I should draw circles at each vertex of my outline to get smoothness. I tried this and it works great. The problem is speed. It crippled my application to draw a circle at each vertex. I'm not sure how else to fix the anomaly of my outlines other than circles, but using display lists and trying with vertex array both were brutally slow. Thanks
