• How do I set the Execute Permissions for an IIS6 website with Powershell using WMI?

  In inetmgr you can set the property I desire by going to Home Directory - Application Settings - Execute Permissions - and setting the drop down to 'Scripts Only'. I'm trying to replicate this behavior in Powershell. The Target OS is Windows Server 2003 running IIS6. Currently I have this simple code to get the site: $Site = get-wmiobject -Namespace root\MicrosoftIISv2 -query ('select * from IISWebServerSetting where ServerComment="mySite"') There are lots of properties it might be but nothing really leaps out. I've tried changing the setting in inetmgr and dumping the properties out before and after, but I see no differences (it could be a child property though). Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

• XQuery - problem with recursive function

  Hi all, Im new on this project and am going to write, what i thought was a simple thing. A recursive function that writes nested xml elements in x levels (denoted by a variable). So far I have come up with this, but keeps getting a compile error. I'm just thinking it would be nice to reformulate that query so it could be called like SELECT * FROM dbo.table1 WHERE column1 REGEXLIKE '[0-9][A-Z]' Is it possible to create new comparison operators using CLR Code.   Hi, I have a simple requirement in which I want to execute a long running application program on server (e.g. DTSX) I want to make an HTTP module for this, But I have a question whether the DTSX will run even if the user closes the page and browser. In my case user hits the handler with a query string but what if the user closes the browser immediately? How is the behavior different from simple linear page processing? I want my DTSX package to finish once its started no matter how much time it takes and also dont want to halt the user that is why I am using http modules in place of linear asp page processing. This means they will not be charged the monthly price until after the first 30 days the regular amount will be charged to user. but the next billing date should be one month later the profile start date. but next billing data and profile start date shows same when i query by GetRecurringPaymentProfile? • Spatial Index for Rectangles With Fast Insert

  Hello, I'm looking for a data structure that provides indexing for Rectangles. I need the insert algorithm to be as fast as possible since the rectangles will be moving around the screen (think of dragging a rectangle with your mouse to a new position). I've looked into R-Trees, R+Trees, kD-Trees, Quad-Trees and B-Trees but from my understanding insert's are usually slow. I'd prefer to have inserts at sub-linear time complexity so maybe someone can prove me wrong about either of the listed data structures. I should be able to query the data structure for what rectangles are at point(x, y) or what rectangles intersect rectangle(x, y, width, height). EDIT: The reason I want insert so fast is because if you think of a rectangle being moved around the screen, they're going to have to be removed and then re-inserted. Thanks!

  Hi, I'm trying to check if a result in my DQL is NULL. I got the following DQL query: $q = self::createQuery("l") ->select('i.*, s.aantal, m.naam, c.cat_naam, a.app_id') ->from('InstalledBase i, i.Spare s, i.Apparaat a, a.Categorie c, a.Merk m') ->execute(); return $q; Now i want to check if the s.aantal is NULL so i do: if(is_null($installedbase->Spare->spare_id)) when the variable is NOT null everything works, but when it is actually NULL i get a E notice message: Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in \installedbase\templates\_index.php on line 29 It does see that it is null though because the if condition is executed. Weird thing is i'm doing the exact same thing on another page where it works no problem. But i must be doing something wrong or stupid since those messages generally don't show for nothing. So can anybody explain this to me? :)

  Hello everyone. I have a model Fix with a relationship HABTM Device model. Device model has a belongsTo to Device_type model, like this, for only getting the device type name: var $belongsTo = array('Device_type'=>array('fields'=>'name')); So, I need every Fix, its devices and its Device_types. When I make a Fix->find('all', array('recursive' => 2)) I expect to get every Device related to Fix (this works ok) and ALSO for every device, its Device_type.name (which is not working). This is what I get instead for every Device in the result (an empty array): ["Device_type"]=> array(0) { } Besides this, when I make this query for testing: Fix->Device->find('all'), it returns the current Device_type.names for every device related to fixes, which means models are related propertly. • I need to know what link is clicked, how do i get these variables with cherrypy?

  Lets say I display 3 links, I want to accomplish 2 things, know which link is clicked, and record this choice in a list/pickle or txt file but also capture this variable in cherrypy so I can perform another action. How do I do this? Its been suggested that I use a query string which makes sense but I can't get the querystring variable to cherrypy to use for further actions. So would anyone have a simple code of cherrypy with lets say 2 pages and have one page display 2 links with a querystring in each and the second page able to get that value?

  I'm building a form (not modelForm) where i'd like to use the SelectMultiple Widget to display choices based on a query done during the init of the form. I can think of a few way to do this but I am not exactly clear on the right way to do it. I see different options. • How/is data shared between fastCGI processes?

  I've written a simple perl script that I'm running via fastCGI on Apache. The application loads a set of XML data files which are used to lookup values based upon the the query parameters of an incoming request. As I understand it, if I want to increase the amount of concurrent requests my application can handle I need to allow fastCGI to spawn multiple processes. Will each of these processes have to hold duplicate copies of the XML data in memory? Is there a way to set things up so that I can have one copy of the XML data loaded in memory while increasing the capacity to handle concurrent requests?

• Entity framework (1): implement 1 foreign key to multiple tables

  Hi, i've modeled this: i have an import table, and an import steps table import 1 .. N importsteps Now i have a table importparams, which hold key/value pairs to register all kind of info about the import or the importsteps. So i have modeled a FK in SqlServer which points to the PK of the import table and to the PK of the importsteps table (the ID's for both the import as the importsteps table are guids, so i can query the importparams with either the id from import or from importsteps and get the right importparams). Makes sense a bit? But how can i model this in the EF? I can see it's a bit hard for the EF to model this, because one realtion can point to multiple classes, but is there a way? The workaround normally is just to get all importparams where FK is the ID, but as you know the FK is not available in the EF version 1. I hope you can help me out, michel

• Problem with autocommit in ANT SQL task

  I have an SQL script and want to apply it witn ANT task. This script clears out schema, creates new tables and views. The ANT defined task as follows: <sql driver="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" url="jdbc:mysql://host:3306/smth" userid="smth" password="smth" expandProperties="false" autocommit="true" src="all.sql" > </sql> When this task launches, it shows in log that tables are cleared and created. But when it tries to create first view, it fails with: Failed to execute: CREATE VIEW component... AS SELECT component_raw.id AS MySQLSyntaxErrorException: Table 'component_raw' doesn't exist I have no idea why it fails here. Running this all.sql from MySQL query browser gives no errors. When I launched ANT with -v option, I didn't see any "COMMIT" messages.. Please, help to resolve the problem.

  I'm working on a ASP.NET (C#) site that pulls most of its data from Dynamics CRM over SOAP using Microsoft's CrmService SDK. I'm at the point where a query has returned an entity with a property of the type Customer. I need to get the name string of that customer record, but cannot figure out how to do so. By doing a little guess work I figured out that what I have is GUID for the customer. How can I use this GUID to get the customer's name as a string? • Converting delimited string to multiple values in mysql

  I have a mysql legacy table which contains an client identifier and a list of items, the latter as a comma-delimited string. E.g. "xyz001", "foo,bar,baz". This is legacy stuff and the user insists on being able to edit a comma delimited string. They now have a requirement for a report table with the above broken into separate rows, e.g. "xyz001", "foo" "xyz001", "bar" "xyz001", "baz" Breaking the string into substrings is easily doable and I have written a procedure to do this by creating a separate table, but that requires triggers to deal with deletes, updates and inserts. This query is required rarely (say once a month) but has to be absolutely up to date when it is run, so e.g. the overhead of triggers is not warranted and scheduled tasks to create the table might not be timely enough. Is there any way to write a function to return a table or a set so that I can join the identifier with the individual items on demand?

But I only want one month. My Sprint dimension has a stop date and I do not want to return any values after the stop date. What am I doing wrong?

• MySql Friend of my friends and Friend of my of my Friends of my Friends

  i have a problem with mysql query, and can't get it done in any way. I already checked the other topics, but can't get any of the solutions to work in my case. I have 2 tables, one is users id, name, email.... and second for friends is named friends :) user1_id, user2_id now i need to get from the database all of the user info for friends of my friends, and next level friends, the Friend of my of my Friends of my Friends, those should be 2 separate queries. Of course the search should exclude me, and be distinct. Please help.
