  • How can I execute several maven plugins within a single phase and set their respective execution ord

    Hi all, I would like to breakup certain phases in the maven life cycle into sub phases. I would like to control the execution flow from one sub-phase to another, sort of like with ant dependencies. For example, I would like to use the NSIS plugin in order to package up my project into an installer at the package stage, AFTER my project had been packaged into a war file. I would like to do all that at the package phase. Is that possible? Thanks

    I've been trying to get TurboGears installed on Windows by following this site.     I'm writing an app that offloads some heavy drawing into an EAGLView, and it does some lightweight stuff in UIKit on top. It seems that the GL render during an orientation change is cached somewhere, and I can't figure out how to get access to it. Specifically: After an orientation change, calling glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT) isn't enough to clear the GL display (drawing is cached somewhere?) How can I clear this cache? After an orientation change, glReadPixel() can no longer access pixels drawn before the orientation change. How can I get access to where this is stored?

    Hi all, I have a Direct2D window which paints fine when in focus; however, when focus moves to another window (same application or another), the entire window goes black. I pinned the issue down to the use of ID2D1HwndRenderTarget::Clear. This function is vital to my application as without it, painting becomes rather... weird. Is there a way an un-focused Direct2D window can paint as normal (note: WM_PAINT is being called as usual, as is Clear, BeginPaint, etc. all without error) Thanks in advance.

    All, I have a main window that contains two custom objects (AnimatedCharacter). These objects are nothing but images. These images might contain transparent portions. One of these objects slightly overlaps the other object.   • IE6 Bug - Div within Anchor tag: inline images not links

    I'm trying to get everything in the anchor tag to be a clickable link. Unfortunately, in IE6 (which is the only browser I'm concerned with currently), the only thing that isn't a clickable link are the inline images. I know that it's not valid html to put a div inside of an anchor but it's not my markup and I've been asked to avoid changing it. Any suggestions to altering the CSS to enable the images as clickable links? If changing the markup is the only solution... any suggestions there? My initial thought was to set the image as a background of it's parent (.ph-item-featured-img), although I'm unclear if that will solve the problem.   • Are JSF 2.x ViewScoped Beans Thread Safe?

    I've been googling for a couple hours on this issue to no eval. WELD docs and the CDI spec are pretty clear regarding thread safety of the scopes provided. For example: Application Scope - not safe Session Scope - not safe Request Scope - safe, always bound to a single thread Conversation Scope - safe (due to the WELD proxy serializing access from multiple request threads) I can't find anything on the View Scope defined by JSF 2.x. It is in roughly the same bucket as the Conversation Scope in that it is very possible for multiple requests to hit the scope concurrently despite it being bound to a single view / user. What I don't know is if the JSF implementation serializes access to the bean from multiple requests. Anyone have knowledge of the spec or of the Morraja/MyFaces implementations that could clear this up?

    I am using the Stanford coreNLP ( http://nlp.stanford.edu/software/corenlp.shtml ) in order to parse sentences and extract dependencies between the words. I have managed to create the dependencies graph like in the example in the supplied link, but I don't know how to work with it. I can print the entire graph using the toString() method, but the problem I have is that the methods that search for certain words in the graph, such as getChildList, require an IndexedWord object as a parameter. Now, it is clear why they do because the nodes of the graph are of IndexedWord type, but it's not clear to me how I create such an object in order to search for a specific node. For example: I want to find the children of the node that represents the word "problem" in my sentence. How I create an IndexWord object that represents the word "problem" so I can search for it in the graph?

    It's not 100 percent clear to me that the Google Analytics UA Numbers are always 6 digits, a dash, and 2 digits as Google often mentions in their documentation. There are frequent counter-examples that use fewer than 6 for the account portion and 1-4 for the profile. All of the examples always show numbers but it's not even clear that they can't be letters. Does anyone know if Google has published a regex that exactly matches allowable UA Numbers? I'm adding this feature to the admin console of an application I work on and would like to validate the user input.

    ok I am well aware there are many other questions about this, but I have been searching and have yet to find a solid proper answer that doesnt revolve around jabber or something worse. (no offense to jabber users, just I don't want all the extras that come with it) I currently have msnp and twisted.words, I simply want to send and receive messages, have read many examples that have failed to work, and msnp is poorly documented. My preference is msnp as it requires much less code, I'm not looking for something complicated.   • How do chains work in Rainbow tables?

    Hello, I was wondering if should one could explain in detail how chains work in rainbow tables as though you would a complete novice but with relevance to programming. I understand that a chain is 16 bytes long. 8 bytes mark the starting point and 8 mark the end. I also understand that in the filename we have the chain length i.e. 2400. Which means that between our starting point and end point in just 16 bytes we have 2400 possible clear texts? What? How does that work? in those 16 bytes how do i get my 2400 hashes and clear texts or am i miss understanding this? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks P.s. I have read the related papers and googled this topic a fair bit. I think im just missing something important to make these gears turn.

  • What are logical and path queries

    I'm reading a paper which mentions that a language for refactoring has three specific requirements. functional features (like ML) logical queries (like Datalog) path queries (like Datalog) I know what they mean by functional features, but I'm not totally clear on the latter two and can't find a clear explanation either. Although I have a good idea after what I could find on the subjects, I need to be sure so here goes: Could the SO-community please clearly explain to me what logical queries and path queries are? Or at the very least what the people from the paper meant?

  • Correct order of overrides for a composite control based on an abstract one

    I'm writing a set of C# composite web server controls for displaying dialog boxes. I want to have one abstract class which handles the basic layout and things like titles of the control, then have a set of derived ones which render child controls at a specific point. I forsee three distincts methods: renderOpeningHtml handled by the abstract class, renderCustomControls as done by the derived class, and renderClosingHtml by the abstract class again, except I can't figure the life cycle of a CompositeControl and what methods to use when.

  • Weird behavior of std::vector

    I have a class like this: class OBJ{...}; class A { public: vector<OBJ> v; A(int SZ){v.clear(); v.reserve(SZ);} }; A *a = new A(123); OBJ something; a->v.push_back(something); This is a simplified version of my code. The problem is in debug mode it works perfect. But in release mode it crashes at "push_back" line. (with all optimization flags OFF) I debugged it in release mode and the problem is in the constructor of A. the size of the vector is something really big with dummy values and when I clear it, it doesn't change... Do you know why? Thanks,

However, I haven't come across a clear way to remove something from the classpath, only setting it (which I think would be tedious each time). Does anyone know of a clear way to remove jars from the classpath? Has anyone encountered this Roo problem before and solved it another way?
