  • jqGrid error when setting width using new API

    I'm using the new API to set the width of my jqGrid like this: $('#grid').jqGrid('setGridWidth', $(window).width() * 0.98); The problem is that in IE7 I'm getting this error: 'p.cellLayout' is null or not an object This only happens in IE7 (IE8, Firefox and Chrome work fine). Has anybody else encounter this problem and fixed it?

The type library file, does not have any hints of events definitions, so Delphi doesn't see it. The class works fine for other C# applications, as you would expect.   • Flex - Issues with linkbar dataprovider

    Hello Community! I'm having some issues displaying a linkbar. The data I need to display is in a XML file. However, I couldn't get the linkbar to display a xmllist (I did indeed read that you cannot set a xmlllist as a linkbar dataprovider... ). So, I'm transforming the xmllist in a array of objects. Here is some code.     If I create a String with [NSString StringWithFormat], do I have to [retain] it? My understanding is that convenience methods add the objects to autorelease pool. If that is the case, shouldnt we retain the object so that it doesnt get drained with pool at the end of the event loop?

    Is it possible to create a PHP function that takes a variable number of parameters all of them by reference? It doesn't help me a function that receives by reference an array of values nor a function that takes its arguments wrapped in an object because I'm working on function composition and argument binding. Don't think about call-time pass-by-reference either. That thing shouldn't even exist.

I have two separate db.SubmitChanges() because when the button is pressed, I have it delete the records from 1 table, and then the next. I'm lost, can someone help me out?

    Background: I have an ASP.NET page which has a numebr of user controls within it. There are 2 user controls which are of interest. I need to display either one of them or neither of them, depending on the record selected previously. In the user controls I need to set properties of some controls which are in a FormView. Sometimes it is returning Nothing/Null and sometimes it is throwing a NullArgumentException with the message "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: container". The exception is coming from trying to reference the fvConfirmationReport variable. fvConfirmationReport is the ID of my FormView in the page itself. So I am really after things to look for and if any ideas what sort of conditions (e.g stage in page cycle, etc.) might lead to this? An example stack trace is included below.     Hi, I need to determine what file type a file is and then perform a certain action for it. this seems to work fine for some types, however all media types such as videos and sound files get mixed up. I determine the file type by doing this: BOOL matchedMP3 = ([[rowValue pathExtension] isEqualToString:@"mp3"]); if (matchedMP3 == YES) { NSLog(@"Matched MP3"); } I do this for various file types and just define an "else" for all the others. Here's the problem though. The iPhone calls them both. What happens is that both the webview and the MediaPlayer toggle their own player, so they overlap and play their sound/video a few secs apart from each other. I'm doing some dynamic code generation using Reflection, and I've come across a situation where I need to get the backing field of a property (if it has one) in order to use its FieldInfo object. Now, I know you can use .IsDefined(typeof(CompilerGeneratedAttribute), false); on a FieldInfo to discover whether it's autogenerated, so I assume there's a similar thing for Properties which auto-generate fields?
