  Today I solved a problem given in Project Euler its problem no 10 and it took 7 hrs for my python program to show the result. But in that forum itself a person named lassevk posted solution for this and it took only 4 sec. And its not possible for me to post this question in that forum because its not discussion forum. • jKey (JavaScript key shortcut plugin) Issue

  Me and a friend are writing a plugin for jQuery that makes it easy for devs to add key shortcuts and we're damn close but no cigar. We're having issues with the key combos. It seems like we are having issues when you call the same selector multiple times on a page. Try pressing alt+a... youll see it works one time, then gets all mangled up. Anyone know how to fix it? It'll be on github after it's corrected and I'd be happy to add "thank you to" link to whoever can fix this in the header with the copyright info :) It's nicely documented and i have all the code and stuff here.   I just wanna use a regex to match something from my products file. I have them in this way "Something here","a link here","website here","date here(eg. 11/12/2012)","description1 here","**description2 here**","some other text here","here also", and so on ... I wanna match with a regex only description 2. I tried this: (?<=[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]).*(?=",") but it wasn't good because it was getting me description1, description2 and some quotes also. • ASP.NET & Oracle Windows Authentication - Is this possible?

  I am trying to enable Windows Authentication on my IIS 6.0 Server with some client technology and Oracle DB server. When I load the ASPX page and have unchecked Anonymous Access and checked Integrated Windows Authentication, I can see my LOGON_USER credentials on the server via tracing. I am now trying to see if the same user can read data from a LINUX-based Oracle server. I can't seem to pass over the credentials! How can I connect to Oracle? Anything special I should know about in terms of web.config files? Another question is, I'm assuming the Oracle server should be 'hooked' to Active Directory? How about manually adding users to the allowed tables? What about Oracle's LDAP, OID? Can anyone direct me to a good link for reference?

• Need help with jQuery UI Accordion navigationFilter option

  I'm building an accordion for navigation. Each section of the accordion has a set of links. The firing code looks like this: $(document).ready(function() { $(".selector").accordion({ collapsible: true, active: false, navigation: true }); }); This all worked fine and dandy until one of the links in each set was edited to point to a single file, call it foo.html. So now if you navigate to foo.html, the location.href matches every section of the accordion (since each section has a link to it) and that opens all the sections, defeating the purpose of the accordion. So I'm pretty sure I need to use the navigationFilter option but I've googled the living hell out of it and haven't found any examples of how to build the function associated with it. Help me, Stack Overflow!

Actually, I don't know what it does. But if I could turn it back after ignoring all comments it will be helpful. • Gaining application/module context from a symfony task

  I have written a reporting suite, and I have a specific report that builds a CSV file. Serving this file via a browser on demand isn't an issue, but I need to be able to build this CSV file nightly, and email round a link to be able to download it. Essentially, I need to be able to replace a specific action with a symfony task, run via cron. So how do I gain application/module context from a symfony task? And secondly, how would I invoke the SwiftMailer library from a symfony task? I'm using symfony v1.4.4 and PHP v.5.2.13. Thanks in advance for your help.

  I have an object elem that I'd like to pass to the remove_tag_from_cart method. Here is my attempt: -elem = @tags[1] #{elem.name}#{link_to_remote image_tag('x.png'), :url => {:controller => 'questions', :action => 'remove_tag_from_cart'}, :with => {:tag_to_remove => :elem}} The :with clause isn't working correctly. The image does not even show up. If I take out the :with clause, then the link properly shows up and calls the method correctly, but I need the elem object in order to remove it from the cart. Suggestions?

  I have my Access 2007 database configured to use "Custom" groups in the navigation pane. I've grouped all my tables in a way that makes sense. However, whenever I update a link table, it loses its grouping. I have not been able to find a way to avoid this. Since it seems to be unavoidable, I'd like to simply have a macro that adds the table back to the right group programatically. I have not found any examples on how to do this. Any suggestions?

• JqueryUI serialize data not working on first record

  I am using jqueryUI v1.8. I have created a modal dialog form to edit records of a table. When the edit link on the record is clicked the record data is displayed on the form and the user edits the record. When the user submits this form the data is serialized and posted via ajax to update the database. This works well with all records except the first one. Nothing is posted to server for update only for the first record. alert(serializeddata); is empty. Similarly, The first form element in every record chosen for editing does not show the actual value the first time. Once you cancel editing and close the dialog and reopen you can see the fields accurate data. How do I resolve this?

After this point i am unable to get inside and grab data and i am not sure why? For example, i would expect: doc.xpath("//LyricArtist") To kick back the artist but it does not. I have tried the same thing with other feeds, such as the default RSS feed that any wordpress installation provides and if i do something like: doc.xpath("//link") I get a list of all the "links". I am definitely missing something and would love your input. thank you!!

  I have been trying to read a file in "cp037" encoding scheme using JAVA. I able to read a file in basic encoding schemes like UTF-8, UTF16 etc...After a bit of research on the internet i came to know that we need charset.jar or international version of JRE be installed to support extended encoding schemes. Can anyone send me a link for international version of JRE6 or JDK6. or is there any better way that i could read a file in cp037 encoding scheme. P.S: cp037 is a character encoding scheme supported by IBM Mainframes. All i need is to display a file in windows, which is being generated on IBM Mainframes machine, using a java program.   I was actually going through this link. which explains how we can share global variable across multiple js. but the point is what need to be done if I am getting some variable into one js and need to pass to another one mentioned in same document after the 1st one. approach which followed was: Script 1 <script type="text/javascript" src="js/client.js"></script> body added some hidden input with id myHiddenId, where values are set using client.js Script 2 <script type="text/javascript" src="js/anotherJS.js"></script> inside script 2 I am simply using $("#myHiddenId").val(); and using for my purpose. I want to know whether I am following correct approach, because that hidden field may have some data which client should not get aware of. is there any other way through which I can pass the variable values across the js files ? Since I am at beginner level hence digging up some resources/books but still no luck.

  For a personnal page I use the MultiViews options in Apache to determine which page he should see depending on his locale. Here is what I do. Options MultiViews AddLanguage fr .fr AddLanguage en .en <IfModule mod_negotiation.c> LanguagePriority fr en </IfModule> I am wondering if it is bad for SEO to do this since Googlebot will probably fall on 'fr' or 'en' but not both. Would it be fixed if I add a link inside my page to the different language page.

• Shared WCF client code between .NET and Silverlight apps?

  I'm developing a .NET application that will have both a WinForms and a Silverlight client. Although the majority of code will be in the server, I'll need to have quite a bit of logic in the clients as well, and I would like to keep the client library code the same. From what I could figure out so far, I need to have two different project types, a class library and a Silverlight class library, and link the files from one project to the other. This seems kind of lame, but it works for simple code. My problem, though, is that the code generated by the SVCUtil.exe to access WCF services is different from the code generated by the slsvcutil.exe, and the silverlight code is actually incompatible with the .NET one: I get a bunch of problems with the System.ServiceModel.Channel classes when I try to import the class into .NET. Has anybody done anything similar to this before? What am I doing wrong?

  Hi all, I can't really find good guidelines through google searches of the proper way to escape variables in URLs. Basically I am printing out a bunch of results from a mysql query in a table and I want one of the entries in each row to be a link to that result's page. I think this is easy, that I'm just missing a apostrophe or backslash somewhere, but I can't figure it out. Here's the line that's causing the error: echo "<a href = \"movies.php/?movie_id='$row['movie_id']'\"> Who Owns It? </a> "; and this is the error I'm getting: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING If you could elaborate in your answers about general guidelines for working with echo and variables in urls, that would be great. • Javascript parent page redirection from iframe.

  Hello to all. I need to implement parent page redirection from iframe. I know that it is impossible to do in different domains due to browsers security. However I found that links have target attribute and tried to use it in the following way: <a href="http://google.com" target="_top" id="testParentRedirect">someLink</a> It works fine if I click this link manually, but I couldn't find cross-browser solution to simulate it using javascript. document.getElementById('testParentRedirect').click(); This works fine in IE, however Firefox and Safary don't know click function :). I tried to work with jquery, but for some reason they don't simulate click event for links. (see following post) I couldn't find any appropriate solution on stackoverflow. Maybe someone could help me in it. I will appreciate it. :)

• Halting Django's dev server via page request?

  I'm looking at writing a portable, light-weight Python app. As the "GUI toolkit" I'm most familiar with — by a wide margin! — is HTML/CSS/JS, I thought to use Django as a framework for the project, using its built-in "development server" (manage.py runserver). I've been banging on a proof-of-concept for a couple hours and the only real problem I've encountered so far is shutting down the server once the user has finished using the app. Ideally, I'd like there to be a link on the app's pages which shuts down the server and closes the page, but nothing I see in the Django docs suggests this is possible. Can this be done? For that matter, is this a reasonable approach for writing a small, portable GUI tool?

• How to read and write UTF-8 to disk on the Android?

  I cannot read and write extended characters (French accented characters, for example) to a text file using the standard InputStreamReader methods shown in the Android API examples. When I read back the file using: InputStreamReader tmp = new InputStreamReader(in); BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(tmp); String str; while ((str = reader.readLine()) != null) { ... the string read is truncated at the extended characters instead of at the end-of-line. The second half of the string then comes on the next line. I'm assuming that I need to persist my data as UTF-8 but I cannot find any examples of that, and I'm new to Java. Can anyone provide me with an example or a link to relevant documentation?

• How do I program a hyperlink to include a username and password to the target site?

  We have a website with a section restricted to members only. They log in and can view the website. Some of the information is stored on another server. We want that information to ONLY be accessible to those who have logged into the main website. What would be the best way to link the two sites, without making members log in again?   I'm writing a compiler and I have gone through all the steps (tokenizing, parsing, syntax tree structures, etc.) that they show you in all the compiler books. Now my problem is: I just can't find any good resources for learning NASM and assembly in general. The wikibook (german) on x86 assembly is horrible. They don't even explain the code they write there, I currently can't even get simple things like adding 1 to 2 and outputting the result working. Where can I learn NASM x86 assembly?

• Make a usable Join relationship with LINQ on top of a database CSV design error

  I'm looking for a way to fix and/or abstract away a comma-separated values (CSV) list in a database field in order to reconstruct a usable relationship such that I can properly join the two tables below and query them using LINQ and its Join method. Following is a sample showing the Person table and CsvArticleIds field having a CSV value to represent a one-to-many association with Article records.
