  • Prevent Apache from logging 404 Errors, logging all other errors

    I would like to disable 404 errors from appearing in my Apache error logs. The reason for this is that I have a custom page that handles 404 errors, performing any necessary redirects. If no valid redirect is found in this 404 page, then a nice page appears and the url and other information are logged by the script. Because of this, I do not need 404 errors in my Apache error log. Is there any way to just disable 404s short of doing a custom pipe?

  • determine if javascript blur/focusout event is from selecting flash or leaving browser

    In IE when I select flash, document.onfocusout is fired. When this event is fired, I would like to distinguish between selecting flash and leaving the browser. When I handle the callback, document.activeElement is the previous html element with focus (what I just left), so this is not helpful for solving this problem. Clearly there has been a change in focus to warrant calling the blur method -- is this information available somewhere? Or is there a better way to do this?

And it should remember the highlighted text so that when i open it next time it should highlight the same text automatically...which information i got to store so that i can highlight the same in the next time ? any library is available which makes my work simple?

    Right now, I'm programming the networking for my online game, and I'm not really sure what to do about receiving data. The problem is that I can't really guess the packet's size, so I thought of reading just 4 bytes from the packet and converting them to an int to know what's the packet's size. Then I'll just create a buffer in that size and receive the rest of the packet, is that a good idea? For your information, I'm using non-blocking i/o.

I need something that searches the internet for URLs only...I don't need links, descriptions, etc. What is the best way to do this without getting too technical?     I'm trying to use Apache Lucene for tokenizing, and I am baffled at the process to obtain Tokens from a TokenStream. The worst part is that I'm looking at the comments in the JavaDocs that address my question. http://lucene.apache.org/java/3_0_1/api/core/org/apache/lucene/analysis/TokenStream.html#incrementToken%28%29 Somehow, an AttributeSource is supposed to be used, rather than Tokens. I'm totally at a loss. Can anyone explain how to get token-like information from a TokenStream?

    I would like to have layers of buttons over video playing in the background on my IPHONE application. Basically, I'm looking to adjust the Movie Player code, in order to allow the application user to tap on different portions of the screen while a video plays and call other commands (for example a video of puppets talking, if you touch one of the puppets, the video pauses and a second (smaller) window appears with a list of information about that puppet; when you exit that list, the video continues where it was paused).

  • Highcharts Area graph, use 2 fill colors above / below X axis

    In Highcharts, I'd like to fill an Area graph with 2 colors, positive values get one color, negative values get another color. I've been able to do this with a linearGradient, but this must be adjusted based upon the size of the container. Is there a more general way of doing this, e.g. setting values 0 color 1, values < 0 color 2? See my JSFiddle for more information and an example: http://jsfiddle.net/GNvur/2/

    I set up a few pages with OutputCache profiles and confirmed that they are being cached by using multiple browsers and requests to retrieve the page with a timestamp which matched across all requests. When I try to enumerate the HttpContect.Cache it is always empty. Any ideas what is going on here or where I should be going for this information instead?

    I programatically added almost every type of contact field to a contact and they all work except for Relation. Relation types get added to the contacts database, but they don't show up in the Contacts app. I don't see a way to add Relation information through the Contacts GUI for a standard Gmail contact either. Does the Contacts app just not support this data type?

    after showing the ModalPopupExtender, there are two radio buttons that are displayed as part of the popup. When you select the second radio button, I display more information in a gridview control. When the ModalPopupExtender first displays, I have it set at 40% for width and height for the panel associated with the popup. After clicking the second radio button, I would like to resize the popup to 80% for width and height. My question is how do you resize ModalPopupExtender after it's initial popup?

I mean, I don't want to download all the bytes of the remote image -- just enough to detect if it exists. And while on the subject but with just a slight deviation, I'd like to download just enough bytes to determine a JPEG's width and height information.
