    Hello I have just set up the Eclipse Android SDK environment.   • Building the WAR with m2eclipse in combination with WTP (handling webResources)

    I have a situation where I have a web application that is built using maven (i.e., maven-war-plugin). For each code modification, we have had to manually launch maven and restart the application server. Now, to reduce build cycle overhead, I want to use WTP to publish the webapp. Now, we have resource processing with Maven, and there are some additional Maven tasks defined in our POM when building the webapp. Therefore m2eclipse seems like a natural solution. I have gotten far enough that the Maven builder is running these tasks and filtering resources correctly. However, when I choose "Run on Server", the WAR file does not look like it would if I built it in Maven. I am guessing that this is because WTP actually builds the WAR, and not the m2eclipse builder. So even though we have configured the maven-war-plugin in our POM, those settings are not used. Below is a snippet with our maven-war-plugin configuration.     For the life of me, I can't install the JDK on Windows Vista. I keep getting the error, "This Software Has Already Been Installed on Your Computer. Would you like to reinstall it?" Problem is, it's evidently not on my computer, since I can't a) run Eclipse - I get "Could Not Find Java SE Runtime Environment" or b) Find any reference to Java from the command line when typing java -version - I get "Error opening registry key 'Registry/JavaSoft/Java Runtime Environment." Any ideas?

  • MSBuild command-line error - Silverlight 4 SDK is not installed

    My MSBuild command line is as follows: msbuild e:\code\myProject.csproj /p:Configuration=Debug /p:OutputPath=bin/Debug /p:Platform=x86 /p:PlatformTarget=x86 The project builds fine on my development machine in VS2010 but not with the command above.     Short version: How can I prevent a spawned Java process in Windows from blocking the spawning process from ending? Long version: I'm trying to spawn a multi-threaded Java program (Selenium RC, not that it should matter) from a program launched from the Windows command line (NAnt's <exec> task, again, not that it should matter). I'm doing it using the Windows "start" command, and the spawned process is started and runs correctly. The spawning process receives control back and finishes (NAnt says "BUILD SUCCEEDED"), but doesn't actually exit to the command line. When the spawned process finally terminates (could be hours later), the command process returns and the command line prompt occurs.     Hi I use autocompletetextview with SimpleCursorAdapter to get data from sqlite. I'd like to get its drop down list started by the entered key. In my autocompletetextview, the list is not shown or filtered by input text. eg, If user enter "an", all text started with "an" will be seen in this list.   • MS Access group development

    We are planning to redesign quite a huge MS Access application. Is there any way to work concurently on the same application or is it possible to merge two seperate instance of the same file (not the data, but the forms and code). Now Access contains the data, but in the future version MySQL will host the data and Access will be only the frontend (via ODBC)
