• php soapclient returns null but getPreviousResults has proper results

  I've ran into trouble with SOAP, I've never had this issue before and can't find any information on line that helps me solve it. The following code $wsdl = "path/to/my/wsdl"; $client = new SoapClient($wsdl, array('trace' => true)); //$$textinput is passed in and is a very large string with rows in <item></item> tags $soapInput = new SoapVar($textinput, XSD_ANYXML); $res = $client->dataprofilingservice(array("contents" => $soapInput)); $response = $client->__getLastResponse(); var_dump($res);//outputs null var_dump($response);//provides the proper response as I would expect. I've tried passing params into the SoapClient constructor to define soap version but that didnt' help. I've also tried it with the trace param set to false and not present which as expected made $response null but $res was still null. I've tried the code on both a linux and windows install running Apache. • Problem with Global Array in PHP

  Hi guys,, need some help pls.. i have a PHP code here that lets a user send a message to multiple recipients using the "phonebook" (from database) as the main list. I used an array to temporarily hold all the desired recipients for the current user. So I have a two box, with each for displaying. The user will clicks the name from the phonebook lisy and clicks "Add" button to add on the temporary list on the other select box. • First time using select(), maybe a basic question?

  Hello people, i've been working for a few days with this server using select(). What it does, is that, i have two arrays of clients (one is "suppliers", and the other is "consumers"), and the mission of the server is to check whether the suppliers have something to send to the consumers, and in case affirmative, send it. The second part of the server is that, when the consumers have received the suppliers' info, they send a confirmation message to the same suppliers that sent the info. When a client connects, it gets recognized as "undefined", until it sends a message with the word "supplier" or "consumer" (in Spanish, as i'm from there), when the server puts it in the correct clients array. Well, what the server does is not very important here. What's important is that, i'm doing both parts with two different "for" loops, and that's where i'm getting the problems. When the first user connects to the server (be it a supplier or a consumer), the server gets stuck in the first or second loop, instead of just continuing its execution. As it's the first time i'm using select(), i may be missing something. Could you guys give me any sort of help? • Doing XML extracts with XSLT without having to read the whole DOM tree into memory?

  I have a situation where I want to extract some information from some very large but regular XML files (just had to do it with a 500 Mb file), and where XSLT would be perfect. Unfortunately those XSLT implementations I am aware of (except the most expensive version of Saxon) does not support only having the necessary part of the DOM read in but reads in the whole tree. This cause the computer to swap to death. The XPath in question is //m/e[contains(.,'foobar') so it is essentially just a grep. Is there an XSLT implementation which can do this? Or an XSLT implementation which given suitable "advice" can do this trick of pruning away the parts in memory which will not be needed again? I'd prefer a Java implementation but both Windows and Linux are viable native platforms. EDIT: It appears that STX may be what I am looking for (I can live with another transformation language), and that Joost is an implementation hereof. Any experiences? EDIT: I found that Saxon 6.5.4 with -Xmx1500m could load my XML, so this allowed me to use my XPaths right now. This is just a lucky stroke so I'd still like to solve this generically - this means scriptable which in turn means no handcrafted Java filtering first. EDIT: Oh, by the way. This is a log file very similar to what is generated by the log4j XMLLayout. The reason for XML is to be able to do exactly this, namely do queries on the log. This is the initial try, hence the simple question. Later I'd like to be able to ask more complex questions - therefore I'd like the query language to be able to handle the input file.

  Background: I use a ton of NSDictionary objects in my iPhone and iPad code. I'm sick of the verbose way of getting/setting keys to these state dictionaries. So a little bit of an experiment: I just created a class I call Remap. Remap will take any arbitrary set[VariableName]:(NSObject *) obj selector and forward that message to a function that will insert obj into an internal NSMutableDictionary under the key [vairableName]. Remap will also take any (zero argument) arbitrary [variableName] selector and return the NSObject mapped in the NSMutableDictionary under the key [variableName]. e.g. Remap * remap = [[Remap alloc] init]; NSNumber * testNumber = [NSNumber numberWithInt:46]; [remap setTestNumber:testNumber]; testNumber = [remap testNumber]; [remap setTestString:@"test string"]; NSString * testString = [remap testString]; NSMutableDictionary * testDict = [NSMutableDictionary dictionaryWithObject:testNumber forKey:@"testNumber"]; [remap setTestDict:testDict]; testDict = [remap testDict]; where none of the properties testNumber, testString, or testDict are actually defined in Remap. P.S. : I'll probably end up scrapping this and going with macros since message forwarding is quite inefficient... but aside from that does anyone see other problems with Remap? • Socket php server not showing messages sent from android client

  Hi I am a newbie in these kind of stuff but here's what i want to do. I am trying to implement a chat application in which users will send their queries from the website and as soon as the messages are sent by the website users.It will appear in the android mobile application of the site owner who will answer their queries .In short I wanna implement a live chat. Now right now I am just simply trying to send messages from android app to php server. But when I run my php script from dreamweaver in chrome the browser keeps on loading and doesn't shows any output when I send message from the client. Sometimes it happened that the php script showed some outputs which I have sent from the android(client).But i don't know when it works and when it does not. So I want to show those messages in the php script as soon as I send those messages from client and vice versa(did not implemented the vice versa for client but help will be appreciated).   I am trying to create a jsf application which, upon page refresh increments the hit counter and generates two random numbers. What should be displayed on the window may look something like this: On your On your roll x you have thrown x and x For this program I decided to create two Beans, one to hold the page refresh counter and one to generate a random number. • Setting a DataGrid background color based on the previous row

  I'm trying to setup a grid where I do column sorting, but I wanted to do zebra striping, only rather than every other row or every x rows, I want it to be based on the value of cells. i.e. All cells that contain 0 have a blue background, the next value would have a white background, the next value would be blue, etc.... The problem I have is that I can't seem to find where to actually do the setting of the background colors. I'm using a custom sorter and I tried setting it in there after I re-order the list and set the data source, but it appears that when the data source is set, that the rows don't exist yet. I tried using the DataContextChanged, but that event doesn't seem to be firing. • ANDROID: inside Service class, executing a method for Toast (or Status Bar notification) from schedu

  I am trying to execute a {public void} method in Service, from scheduled TimerTask which is periodically executing. This TimerTask periodically checks a condition. If it's true, it calls method via {className}.{methodName}; However, as Java requires, the method needs to be {pubic static} method, if I want to use {className} with {.dot} The problem is this method is for notification using Toast(Android pop-up notification) and Status Bar To use these notifications, one must use Context context = getApplicationContext(); But for this to work, the method must not have {static} modifier and resides in Service class. So, basically, I want background Service to evaluate condition from scheduled TimerTask, and execute a method in Service class. Can anyone help me what's the right way to use Service, invoking a method when certain condition is satisfied while looping evaluation?   Hi, I have a prblem with my code. I have a viewController and a singleton class. When i call the method readXml and run a for my program update the UITextView. • Combine config-paramters with parameters passed from commanline

  I have created a SSIS-package that imports a file into a table (simple enough). I have some variables, a few set in a config-file such as server, database, importfolder. at runtime I want to pass the filename. This is done through a stored procedure using dtexec. When setting the paramters throught the configfile it works fine also when setting all parameters in the procedure and passing them with the \Set statement (se below). when I try to combine the config-version with settings parameters on the fly I get an error refering to the config-files path that was set at design time. Has anybody come across this and found a solution for it? • Creating Entity Framework objects with Unity for Unit of Work/Repository pattern

  Hi there, I'm trying to implement the Unit of Work/Repository pattern, as described here: http://blogs.msdn.com/adonet/archive/2009/06/16/using-repository-and-unit-of-work-patterns-with-entity-framework-4-0.aspx This requires each Repository to accept an IUnitOfWork implementation, eg an EF datacontext extended with a partial class to add an IUnitOfWork interface. I'm actually using .net 3.5, not 4.0. My basic Data Access constructor looks like this: public DataAccessLayer(IUnitOfWork unitOfWork, IRealtimeRepository realTimeRepository) { this.unitOfWork = unitOfWork; this.realTimeRepository = realTimeRepository; } So far, so good. What I'm trying to do is add Dependency Injection using the Unity Framework. Getting the EF data context to be created with Unity was an adventure, as it had trouble resolving the constructor - what I did in the end was to create another constructor in my partial class with a new overloaded constructor, and marked that with [InjectionConstructor] [InjectionConstructor] public communergyEntities(string connectionString, string containerName) :this() { (I know I need to pass the connection string to the base object, that can wait until once I've got all the objects initialising correctly) So, using this technique, I can happily resolve my entity framework object as an IUnitOfWork instance thus: using (IUnityContainer container = new UnityContainer()) { container.RegisterType<IUnitOfWork, communergyEntities>(); container.Configure<InjectedMembers>() .ConfigureInjectionFor<communergyEntities>( new InjectionConstructor("a", "b")) DataAccessLayer target = container.Resolve<DataAccessLayer>(); Great. What I need to do now is create the reference to the repository object for the DataAccessLayer - the DAL only needs to know the interface, so I'm guessing that I need to instantiate it as part of the Unity Resolve statement, passing it the appropriate IUnitOfWork interface. In the past, I would have just passed the Repository constructor the db connection string, and it would have gone away, created a local Entity Framework object and used that just for the lifetime of the Repository method. This is different, in that I create an Entity Framework instance as an IUnitOfWork implementation during the Unity Resolve statement, and it's that instance I need to pass into the constructor of the Repository - is that possible, and if so, how? I'm wondering if I could make the Repository a property and mark it as a Dependency, but that still wouldn't solve the problem of how to create the Repository with the IUnitOfWork object that the DAL is being Resolved with I'm not sure if I've understood this pattern correctly, and will happily take advice on the best way to implement it - Entity Framework is staying, but Unity can be swapped out if not the best approach. Ideally, I'd like it to work like MessageBox.Show(), where the entire application halts until an input is received from the user.   I'm attempting to determine whether a user is a member of a given group using System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagment. I'm doing this inside a SharePoint WebPart in SharePoint 2007 on a 64-bit system. Project targets .NET 3.5 Impersonation is enabled in the web.config. The IIS Site in question is using an IIS App Pool with a domain user configured as the identity. I am able to instantiate a PrincipalContext as such: PrincipalContext pc = new PrincipalContext(ContextType.Domain) Next, I try to grab a principal: using (PrincipalContext pc = new PrincipalContext(ContextType.Domain)) { GroupPrincipal group = GroupPrincipal.FindByIdentity(pc, "MYDOMAIN\somegroup"); // snip: exception thrown by line above. } Both the above and UserPrincipal.FindByIdentity with a user SAM throw a DirectoryServicesCOMException: "Logon failure: Unknown user name or bad password" I've tried passing in a complete SAMAccountName to either FindByIdentity (in the form of MYDOMAIN\username) or just the username with no change in behavior. I've tried executing the code with other credentials using both the HostingEnvironment.Impersonate and SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges approaches and also experience the same result. I've also tried instantiating my context with the domain name in place: Principal Context pc = new PrincipalContext(ContextType.Domain, "MYDOMAIN"); This throws a PrincipalServerDownException: "The server could not be contacted." I'm working on a reasonably hardened server. I did not lock the system down so I am unsure exactly what has been done to it. If there are credentials I need to allocate to my pool identity's user or in the domain security policy in order for these to work, I can configure the domain accordingly. Are there any settings that would be preventing my code from running? Am I missing something in the code itself? Is this just not possible in a SharePoint web? Other people have reported similar errors with other XML documents. The way I worked around this was to do a StreamReader.ReadToEnd, then do Regex.Replace on the result of that to yank out the script block, before passing the modified string to XmlReader.Create(). Feels like a hack. Has anyone got a better approach? I don't like this because I have to read in a 125k string into memory. Is it valid rss to include "complex content" like that - a script block inside an element?

• Wildcards in jnlp template file

  Since the last security changes in Java 7u40, it is required to sign a JNLP file. This can either be done by adding the final JNLP in JNLP-INF/APPLICATION.JNLP, or by providing a template JNLP in JNLP-INF/APPLICATION_TEMPLATE.JNLP in the signed main jar. The first way works well, but we would like to allow to pass a previously unknown number of runtime arguments to our application. Therefore, our APPLICATION_TEMPLATE.JNLP looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <jnlp codebase="*"> <information> <title>...</title> <vendor>...</vendor> <description>...</description> <offline-allowed /> </information> <security> <all-permissions/> </security> <resources> <java version="1.7+" href="http://java.sun.com/products/autodl/j2se" /> <jar href="launcher/launcher.jar" main="true"/> <property name="jnlp...." value="*" /> <property name="jnlp..." value="*" /> </resources> <application-desc main-class="..."> * </application-desc> </jnlp> The problem is the * inside of the application-desc tag. It is possible to wildcard a fixed number of arguments using multiple argument tags (see code below), but then it is not possible to provide more or less arguments to the application (Java Webstart will no start with an empty argument tag). <application-desc main-class="..."> <argument>*</argument> <argument>*</argument> <argument>*</argument> </application-desc> Does someone can confirm this problem and/or has a solution for passing a previously undefined number of runtime arguments to the Java application?   I have a WCF Server running on IIS 7 using default application pool, with SSL activate, the services is installed in a SBS Server 2008. I implement client application services with wcf and SQL 2005 for setting the access control in my application. The application run under windows vista and is make with WPF. In my developer machine the application and the WCF services run well, the IIS i'm use for the trials is the local IIS 7 and the database is the SQL Server 2005 database hosting in my server. I'm using Visual Studio Project Designer to enable and configure client application services. using https://localhost/WcfServidorFundacion. When i'm change the authentication services location to https://WcfServices:5659/WcfServidorFundacion and recompile the application, the following error show up. Message: The web service returned the error status code: InternalServerError. • SSRS Report from Oracle DB - Use stored procedure

  I am developing a report in Sql Server Reporting Services 2005, connecting to an Oracle 11g database. As you post replies perhaps it will help to know that I'm skilled in MSSQL Server and inexperienced in Oracle. I have multiple nested subreports and need to use summary data in outer reports and the same data but in detail in the inner reports. In order to spare the DB server from multiple executions, I thought to populate some temp tables at the beginning and then query just them the multiple times in the report and the subreports. In SSRS, Datasets are evidently executed in the order they appear in the RDL file. And you can have a dataset that doesn't return a rowset. So I created a stored procedure to populate my four temp tables and made this the first Dataset in my report. This SP works when I run it from SQLDeveloper and I can query the data from the temp tables. However, this didn't appear to work out because SSRS was apparently not reusing the same session, so even though the global temporary tables were created with ON COMMIT PRESERVE ROWS my Datasets were empty. I switched to using "real" tables and am now passing in an additional parameter, a GUID in string form, uniquely generated on each new execution, that is part of the primary key of each table, so I can get back just the rows for this execution. Running this from Sql Developer works fine, example: DECLARE ActivityCode varchar2(15) := '1208-0916 '; ExecutionID varchar2(32) := SYS_GUID(); BEGIN CIPProjectBudget (ActivityCode, ExecutionID); END; Never mind that in this example I don't know the GUID, this simply proves it works because rows are inserted to my four tables. But in the SSRS report, I'm still getting no rows in my Datasets and SQL Developer confirms no rows are being inserted. So I'm thinking along the lines of: Oracle uses implicit transactions and my changes aren't getting committed? Even though I can prove that the non-rowset returning SP is executing (because if I leave out the parameter mapping it complains at report rendering time about not having enough parameters) perhaps it's not really executing. Somehow. Wrong execution order isn't the problem or rows would appear in the tables, and they aren't. I'm interested in any ideas about how to accomplish this (especially the part about not running the main queries multiple times). I'll redesign my whole report. I'll stop using a stored procedure. Suggest anything you like! I just need help getting this working and I am stuck. If you want more details, in my SSRS report I have a List object (it's a container that repeats once for each row in a Dataset) that has some header values and then contains a subreport. Eventually, there will be four total reports: one main report, with three nested subreports. Each subreport will be in a List on the parent report.

I've confirmed that my issue is not the same as http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1177292/hudson-git-clone-error because git is in the path and I don't get any error about the git executable on Hudson's Configure System page. This leads me to believe that the problem is that the user who owns the Tomcat/Hudson Windows service (Local System) has no SSH key set up to be able to clone the git repository. My question is, how can I set things up so that the git plugin/msysgit know to use a particular SSH key when trying to clone? I don't think Pageant will work because the Tomcat service is running as the "Local System" user, but I may be wrong. I have tried setting Pageant up as a service (using runassvc.exe), passing the appropriate key, and having it run as "Local System". The Tomcat/Hudson service doesn't seem to be able to see the key from the pageant service. Are there any other techniques for setting up a key? Thanks. EDIT: The discussion on http://n4.nabble.com/Hudson-with-git-and-ssh-td375633.html shows that someone else had a similar question. ssh-agent was suggested and this tool does come with msysgit but I'm not sure how to use it in conjunction with the Hudson service. • Subclassed django models with integrated querysets

  Like in this question, except I want to be able to have querysets that return a mixed body of objects: >>> Product.objects.all() [<SimpleProduct: ...>, <OtherProduct: ...>, <BlueProduct: ...>, ...] I figured out that I can't just set Product.Meta.abstract to true or otherwise just OR together querysets of differing objects. Fine, but these are all subclasses of a common class, so if I leave their superclass as non-abstract I should be happy, so long as I can get its manager to return objects of the proper class. The query code in django does its thing, and just makes calls to Product(). Sounds easy enough, except it blows up when I override Product.__new__, I'm guessing because of the __metaclass__ in Model... I have variously tried super(A, cls), Top, super(A, A), and all of the above in combination with passing cls in as the first argument to __new__, all to no avail. Why is this kicking me so hard? Do I have to figure out django's metaclasses to be able to fix this or is there a better way to accomplish my ends?
