  • Google Chrome Application Mode: Possible to isolate multiple instances?

    I want to run multiple Google Chrome application windows logged into the same web site (Twitter.com, say), each with different credentials. Is this possible? If so, how? My initial testing shows that multiple Chrome app windows are not sufficiently isolated to do this. Logging into the second account logs me into the second account in both windows, suggesting that they are sharing information just as two Chrome tabs might.

    Ok, so I was perusing the mono site and noticed there are Novell tools I can purchase for Visual Studio that will let me choose to compile in Mono? My confusion is, if I am using a tool set such as MVC 2 and other Frameworks, and I use those tools to compile to mono, how exactly does that play into things? I mean don't those tool sets need to be recompiled using Mono?

    I couldn't find a place to feedback about this so apologies if I shouldn't have post this as a question here. Would it be possible for the admins of the site to change the links we post in our answers to have their target as _blank. It is quite hard when it is _self as we look at those urls in correlation with what the post is about so I wouldn't want it to replace the post.

When a file to be downloaded is clicked, I get the following in the Internet Explorer Information bar: To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this site from downloading files to you computer. I added a registry key to, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\ then a REG_DWORD value named "http" with value==2 as given in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/972345/programmatically-add-trusted-sites-to-internet-explorer but still facing same issues. Can some1 advice on this....

I wanted to also convert to an mp4 format that will "stream" to an iphone and blackberry, or allowed to be downloaded to either, for later viewing.   • Fireworks CS4 download link?

    I'm trying to find a trial download link for Fireworks CS4 for windows and it has apparently disappeared off the face of the internet. The adobe site only has a "Coming soon" placeholder for CS5, and most of the other usual suspects like softpedia and brothersoft just redirect you to adobe.   • Is it bad to use a model directly from a view in codeigniter?

    I know normally the data is passed thru to the view with the controller. however, currently in my view I load my model ($this-load-model('Db_model');) so i can use it in a loop to retrieve a users profile picture path from a array of IDs that is passed from controller. Will loading the db model in the view to accomplish this make my site more vulnerable or bad form? To me it seems to be outside of MVC concept but its working atm. thanks

    I have created a number of forms using various Joomla components which have more or less worked successfully. Recently I have attempted to create mult-page forms - the forms work...but they are slow as molasses. Having spent a couple of weeks trying to resolve this and not seeing any signs of improvement ......
