    I am in the process of setting up a new server which I share with 2 colleagues. Is it possible to get a folder structure into IIS7 at all (in the MMC) so we can keep our sites seperate? In the IIS7 management console I would like a set of folders foreach of my colleagues so that each of our websites are within their own sub folder.

Now, I got the following (nested) object: obj: { subObj: { 'hello world' } }; next thing I do is to reference the subobject like this: var s = obj.subObj; now what I would like to do, is to get a reference to the object obj out of the variable s. Something like: var o = s.parent; Is this somehow possible?

  • How to inherit constructors with arguments in .NET?

    I have a "MustInherit" .NET class which declares a constructor with an integer parameter. However, Visual Studio gives me an error when I create any derived class stating that there is no constructor that can be called without any arguments. Is it possible to inherit the constructor with arguments? Right now, I have to use Public Sub New(ByVal A As Integer) MyBase.New(A) End Sub in the derived classes. Is there any way to avoid this?

    Hi, i'm creating a mvc application and i'll use under subdomain like _http://myapp.mycompany.com, this subdomain is pointing to app subdirectory, but my actions are generated with applicationPath (subdirectory) always: _http://myapp.mycompany.com/myapp/Home/About. i want _http://myapp.mycompany.com/Home/About only, without applicationPath prefix. Exists any configuration for this??     My final goal is to write the program which can run on the Unix OS. I know that there are many Unix versions, and don't know exactly for now which one I need to support. I cannot install any Unix OS right now. The only thing I can do is to use free OS which is close to Unix as much as possible. Is FreeBSD a good choice for this?     I want to put a Background image centered in the body (backgroundPosition). And then I want all the content(text, tables....) I will add to the page to be aligned with the background, for example, If I zoom the Page, the proportions Background-Content should be respected. I tried almost everything and I don't know if Its possible, I know if I use position top-left for background position and then content in float:left proportions will be respected, but If I want background centered?
