  The Latex code provided below shows the usage of the command "\indent" as it appears in the document,but it does not produce the desired indentation within the document. Is there a specific package associated with the command "\indent" or "\="? • XCOPY to remote server

  In order to improve the deployment / build process of my ASP.NET app, I would like to make a .bat that builds the current solution in release mode xcopy the files to a remote server Creating a release build via command line is easy. But how can I xcopy the files to the remote server? I think I have to map the remote destination to a network drive (?). However I could not connect to the remote server, although I have enabled file sharing for the folder on the server. Maybe the firewall is blocking the request? Which port should I open? Or is there another solution? EDIT Thanks for all the answers so far, but I probably need a step by step guide on how to set up the folder sharing on the server. I shared the folder, I opened up port 445 so that I can connect to the server but still, I cant connect from my local machine to the server in order to map the network path to a system drive.

  Hi All, I tried to create linq-to-sqlite dbml using DbLinq but in vain. Each time I get different type of errors. May be I'm somewhere wrong. Can anyone tell me the step by step procedure to create the dbml file from the Dblinq source code. Edit: Steps I Followed: I downloaded the source file from this link. Edited the "run_sqliteMetal.bat" file in \\DbLinq-0.19\src\DbMetal folder as 'DbMetal.exe -database:myDb.db3 -namespace:myNS -code:myCode.cs' -dbml:myDbml.dbml Tried to run the DbMetal project file to produce the executable but there was a runtime error since Options object in Parameters.cs was null. Hence downloaded the readymade exe file from this location Copied it into the \DbLinq-0.19\src\DbMetal folder Executed the "run_sqliteMetal.bat" file I got a blank screen and Windows Error Msg "DbLinq has stopped Working" Any help? • Automatically extracting inline XSD from WSDL into XSD file(s)

  I am using a third party Web Service whose definition and implementation are beyond my control. This web service will change in the future. The Web Service should be used to generate an XML file which contains some of the same data (represented by the same XSD types) as the Web Service plus some extra information generated by the program. My approach: create my own XSD referring to the XSD definitions of the WSDL of the called web service (This XSD also includes XSD types for the extra information obviously.) use a Java XML databinding framework (like ADB or JiXB) to generate the databinding classes from my own XSD file from step 1 use a Java SOAP framework (like Axis2 or CXF) with the same databinding framework to generate the databinding classes from the WSDL (This would enable me to use the objects retrieved by the web service directly in the generation of the XML.) The XSD types I am going to use in my own XSD file, but are defined in the WSDL, are subject to change. Whenever they change, I would like to automatically process the XSD and WSDL databinding again. (If the change is significant enough, this might trigger some development effort.(But usually not.)) My problem: In step 1 I need an XSD referring to the same types as used by the Web Service. The WSDL is referring to another WSDL, which is referring to another WSDL etc. Eventually there is an WSDL with the needed inline XSD types. As far as I know there is no way to directly reference the inline XSD types of a WSDL from an XSD. The approach I would think most viable, is to include an extra step in the automatic processing (before the databinding) that extracts the inline XSD from the WSDL into other XSD file(s). These other XSD file(s) can then be referred to by my own XSD file. Things I'd like to avoid: Manually copy pasting the inline XSD into an XSD file (I am looking for an automatic process.) Any manual steps.(Like the determining the WSDL that contains the inline types manually.(The location of that WSDL does change as well.)) Using xsd:any in my own XSD. I would like my own XSD file to be correct. Using a non-Java technology(like .NET) Huge amounts of implementation (but hints on how you would implement such an extraction are welcome anyway) PS: I found some similar questions, but they all had responses like: WTH would you want to do that? That is the reason for my rather large background story.

  I'm going through the pain right now of finding memory leaks in my application using WinDbg. Luckily, I've found a few good articles that give a very good step-by-step process of how to do it. Still, it is a fairly painful process. Does VS2010 have any built in features that can ease the burden of finding a memory leak in a Silverlight application? Of course, a memory leak in .NET sounds a bit like a misnomer, but what I intend to do is to find all objects that are still referencing an object that I believe should be garbage collected. • SQLite file locking and DropBox

  I'm developing an app in Visual C++ that uses an SQLite3 DB for storing data. Usually it sits in the tray most of the time. I also would like to enable putting my app in a DropBox folder to share it across several PCs. It worked really well up until DropBox has recently updated itself. And now it says that it "can't sync the file in use". The SQLite file is open in my app, but the lock is shared. There are some prepared statements, but all are reset immediately after using step. Is there any way to enable synchronizing of an open SQLite database file? Thanks! • ColdFusion 9 Cluster with IIS7.5

  Does anyone know of a step by step process of setting up a ColdFusion 9 cluster using IIS 7.5? Either failover or network load balance would be nice. Without IIS being clusterable in Windows 2008 R2, I'm not sure of the best means to configure the web server and ColdFusion service. Some of the things I'm looking for are..... With load balancing, what do you use out in front of the servers as a load balancer? If you're using a network share on a clustered file server for the website data files, how do you configure the ColdFusion service to run so that it has network access instead of running as Local System?

• Jquery Validate Issue

  I'm using the Jquery validate plugin to validate a multi-step form like this one: http://jquery.bassistance.de/validate/demo/multipart/ Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it to work at all and there is a total lack of documentation to guide me through implemnetation. I think the accordian part of script is firing correctly because the bottom half of the form is being hidden and a 'next' button has been successfuly inserted. • Debugging with Visual Studio 2010 and VB.NET: Immediate fails due to proection level

  It happens quite frequently, more times per day, that with Visual Studio 2010, during the debugging, when I used Immediate commands like: ? NamedVariable I receive the following error: 'NamedVariable' is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level. In this case also other debug features seems gone, but I can set breakpoints, step into, step over, etc. The solution is stop debugging, clean and rebuild the project, and retry. I am developing a VB.NET Windows Forms application, but it happened with VB.NET WPF projects too. I never had this behavior with VS 2008. Is this a known bug or could it be a problem of my environment/installation? Do you have any idea how to solve this little, but annoying issue?

  I've been trying for a couple of days now to learn UDK, but I seem to be stuck at making that leap to understanding how everything works together. I understand the syntax, that's all well and good, and I pretty much get how classes and .ini files interact. As for the API, I have the entire reference as pretty decent Doxygen-style HTML output. What I'm looking for is a sort of intermediate tutorial on game creation from scratch (as opposed to modding UT3 itself), more advanced than just learning language syntax, but not yet to the level of going through the API step by step. I'm looking for some guide to the structure of the internals - how GameInfo and PlayerController interact, where Pawn comes in, etc. - a way to visualize the big picture. Does anyone have a particular favorite intermediate-level tutorials (or set of tutorials) that they used when first learning UDK?

In the meantime, my colleagues did commits to the remote repository. Now, I want to: Check whether there are any new commits from other people on the remote repository, i.e. "origin"? Say there were 3 new commits on the remote repository since mine last pull, I would like to diff the remote repository's commits, i.e. HEAD~3 with HEAD~2, HEAD~2 with HEAD~1 and HEAD~1 with HEAD. After knowing what changed remotely, I want to get the latest commits from the others. My findings so far For step 2: I know the caret notation HEAD^, HEAD^^ etc. and the tilde notation HEAD ~2, HEAD~3 etc. For step 3: That is, I guess, just a git pull.

• Is it possible to simultaneously debug VB6 and a C++ COM dll?

  I have a VB6 dll that is loaded by a VB6 frontend. This VB6 dll calls a C++ ATL dll via its COM interface. So, I can run from code in VB6 and I can debug in C++ also, however I can't seem to step through the VB6 code and then get into the C++ code. I feel that this should be possible. Currently I am doing the following steps Start VB6 debugging Start C++ debugging. This involves starting the VB6 front end and setting the working directory to the VB6 front end directory using the VS2008 Debugging Properties in the Options. Execute the code and step through the VB6 code to the point where I should be entering the C++ code. I see the loaded symbols window changing in the VS2008 IDE. Now, it looks like it should work, but I never hit any breakpoints in my C++ code. I hit the breakpoints if I don't start the VB6 debugging first.

• Where to start on creating finger swipe navigation in an collection of items

  Lets say I want to make a control to select any integer number by dragging on a "bar" with numbers: (156 is selected) Mousedown on "159" and dragging towards the left and then doing mouseup changes the control to this: (160 is selected) I've been experimenting for the past 3 hours but I'm inexperienced in Silverlight so I'm having problems getting started. My current guess is I should seperate this into 2 steps: Step 1: Build this control without swiping behavior. Just 2 buttons to go up a number or go down a number Step 2: Replace the buttons by handling mouse events. With my limited knowledge I think I would manage building a crappy control that does this, with very messy xaml and c# and lots of headaches when trying to apply styling and fancy state transitions, but I was hoping some xaml wizards could get me started with the basic approach? • How to override PHP configuration when running in CGI mode

  There are some tutorials out there telling me how to override PHP configuration when it is running in CGI mode. But I'm still confused because lots of them assume that the server is running on Linux. While I need to do that also in Windows. My hosting is indeed using Linux but my local development computer is using Windows XP with Xampp 1.7.3. So I need to do that in my local computer first, then I want to change the configuration on hosting server. The PHP in my hosting server is already run as CGI while in my local computer still run as Apache module. At this point, the processes that I understand are: Change PHP to work in CGI mode. I did this by commenting these two line in "httpd-xampp.conf": # LoadFile "C:/xampp/php/php5ts.dll" # LoadModule php5_module modules/php5apache2_2.dll Create "cgi-bin" directory in DocumentRoot. My DocumentRoot is in "D:\www\" (I'm using apache with virtual host). So it is now "D:\www\cgi-bin". Change the default "cgi-bin" directory settings from "C:/xampp/cgi-bin/" to "D:\www\cgi-bin": ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "D:/www/cgi-bin/" <Directory "D:\www\cgi-bin"> Options MultiViews Indexes SymLinksIfOwnerMatch Includes ExecCGI AllowOverride All Allow from All </Directory> At this point, my PHP is now running as CGI. I checked this with phpinfo(). It tells me that Server API is now CGI/FastCGI. Now I want to override php configuration. I copied 'php.ini' file to "D:\www\cgi-bin" and modify upload_max_filesize setting from 128M to 10M. Create 'php.cgi' file in "D:\www\cgi-bin" and put these code inside the file: #!/bin/sh /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/php5 -c /home/user/public_html/cgi-bin/ That's it. I'm stuck at this point. All of tutorials tell me to create 'php.cgi' file and put shell code inside the file. How to do the 6th step on Windows? I know the next step is to create handler in .htaccess file to load that 'php.cgi'. And also, because I will also need to change PHP configuration on my hosting server (Linux), is the 6th step above right? Some tutorial tells to insert these line instead of above: #!/bin/sh export PHPRC=/site/ini/1 exec /cgi-bin/php5.cgi I'm sorry if my question is not clear.   In MSVC++ I have a vector. Whenever you go out of bounds of the vector (in debug mode, launched as "Start Debugging"), when you step out of bounds of the vector the program halts with a dialog box: Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library ==== Debug Assertion Failed! Expression: Vector subscript out of range Abort | Retry | Ignore So what I want though is the MSVC++ debugger within visual studio to STOP AT THE LINE WHERE THE OUT OF BOUNDS OCCURRED, not give me this dialog box. How can I cause the program to "break" properly and be able to step through code /inspect variables when an out of bounds occurs on an STL vector?

  Hi, with my RCP program I have the problem that I want to have more than one copy running on my PC. The first instance runs very good. If I start the second instance, everything is fine until I want to access the database. Using this code: .. • How do you debug a unit test in Xcode 3?

  I followed Apple's instructions to set up Unit Testing in my project. I followed the directions for making them dependent, so the tests run with every build of my main project. This works, and when my tests pass the application runs; when they don't, I get build errors on the lines of the unit tests that failed. I would like, however, to be able to step through my application code when the tests are failing, but can't get Xcode (3.2.5) configured properly. The project is a Mac project, not iOS. I tried the instructions here and here, but execution never stopped at the breakpoints I set, neither in the the unit test code or in my application code. After following the first set of instructions, the breakpoints I set turned yellow with blue outlines, and I don't know what that meant, either. What do I need to do to step through my tests?

  OpenSSL documents state that it can safely be used in multi-threaded applications provided that at least two callback functions are set, locking_function and threadid_func.... I've written programs which use OpenSSL API. Moreover, I know how to use pthreads. However, the OpenSSL documents are written in the form of a manual, and I can't see a step-by-step guide on what I have to do when using OpenSSL in a multi-threaded app. Is there a tutorial on using OpenSSL with pthreads? (I searched the web, but no satisfactory result appeared.) PS: I'm working in Debian Lenny & Ubuntu Lucid/Maverick. PS2: OpenSSL includes a sample, but it's far too complicated to start with.

There is a comment on the guide above suggesting it cant be done with Msysgit because gitosis requires the use of an SSH Server and Bash ?   Hi all, I tried sample example given at this link - Collection View Programming Guide It is simple and it worked. Considering it as a reference I tried a simple application which will show a collection view of web views with some web page displayed over each web view. The model class has two properties: NSString *pageName, and NSURL *pageURL. I then followed each and every step written in tutorial above with required modifications but I was caught in the step - How to bind web view to collection view item? In binding tab it shows three possibilities : Editable, Hidden, Tool tip but none of these is working. Can anyone suggest me way to accomplish my requirement? Thanks, Miraaj
