• Could not able to register the third party DLL using regsvr32

  i have been trying to register the third party dll file using the regsvr32 command, but it keeps giving me the error that 'the dll doesn't have a entry point, dll could not be registered'. Is it possible to register the dll and use it as a COM component in .NET ? Or I want to use that dll as a COM component in c#.NET. Is there any way to use that dll as COM Component. When i tried to use it as COM component, the dll file, its methods, interfaces are visible in .NET. but when i tried to use any of that interface it gives me error as 'Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {C4CC4F47-2AF6-41FA-A43D-01E8B3050D3F} failed due to the following error: 80040154.'. Plz tell me any solution.

• Rails + RSpec problem

  I have just installed Rspec and Rspec-rails. When i try to run the test, it says: rake aborted!   Hi! I've developed a plug-in for Firefox, that can read and manipulate the content of the currently opened document. I would like to apply a XLST to the document in case it is XML. I have no problem to read the XML document and apply a XSLT to it in memory, however, I have no idea of how to replace the existing document with the newly created one. Thus, I see two possible scenarios: a) I replace the document with the result of the transformation b) I apply the XSLT directly to the XML All my attempts to realize one of both possible solutions have failed... • OpenCv not initializing usb camera

  I am trying to capture video from usb camera using OpenCv. #include <highgui.h> #include <iostream> using namespace std; using namespace cv ; int main() { VideoCapture cap (-1); if(!cap.isOpened()) cout << "Cam initialize failed" ; else cout << "Cam initialized" ; return 0; } It is failing to initialize the camera. cap.isOpened() is returning zero. • Is `eval`ing in a CPAN module without localizing $@ a bug?

  I think I've encountered a bug in Params::Validate, but I'm not sure whether I identified the problematic code piece correctly. The code in question failed to pass exceptions up the chain (using Try::Tiny), so I started debugging and found out that a class used inside the try block has a destructor. This destructor calls object methods which use Params::Validate and looking into Validate.pm source I see an eval without $@ localization, i.e. the global $@ gets overwritten. Now I see two options: Params::Validate should always localize $@ and thus it's a bug that should be reported. The bug is in the class in question, because it shouldn't use Params::Validate in a destructor. Params::Validate can stay as it is now. Which one is it? How I should I handle this situation? PS: I think that CPAN modules should be rock-solid and neither break themselves nor their environment, hence the question title.

  Hello, we have application where database contains large parts of business logic in triggers, with a update subsequently firing triggers on several other tables. I want to refactor the mess and wanted to start by extracting procedures from triggers, but can't find any reliable tool to do this. Using "Extract procedure" in both SQL Developer and Toad failed to properly handle :new and :old trigger variables. If you had similar problem with triggers, did you find a way around it? EDIT: Ideally, only columns that are referenced by extracted code would be sent as in/out parameters, like: Example of original code to be extracted from trigger: ..... if :new.col1 = some_var then :new.col1 := :old.col1 end if ..... would become : procedure proc(in old_col1 varchar2, in out new_col1 varchar2, some_var varchar2) is begin if new_col1 = some_var then new_col1 := old_col1 end if; end; ...... proc(:old.col1,:new.col1, some_var);

The rename of Domain went well but the rename of Exchange Server 2003 is having issues. • How to return an enum ID instead of the enum text in WebAPI

  I am using the WebAPI with .NET 4.5. I have a enum called DareStatus which is a list of statuses and their corresponding integer ID's. To minimize bandwidth traffic I want to send the int values of the enums, not the full text as it is currently doing. (I have control over the client so I can map it on the clientside). • Does Postgresql varchar count using unicode character length or ASCII character length?

  I tried importing a database dump from a SQL file and the insert failed when inserting the string Mér into a field defined as varying(3). I didn't capture the exact error, but it pointed to that specific value with the constraint of varying(3). Given that I considered this unimportant to what I was doing at the time, I just changed the value to Mer, it worked, and I moved on. Is a varying field with its limit taking into account length of the byte string? What really boggles my mind is that this was dumped from another PostgreSQL database. So it doesn't make sense how a constraint could allow the value to be written initially.

  I have seen this question. It seems that regardless of the cast, the temporary object(s) will "survive" until the fullexpression evaluated. But in the following scenario: void foo(boost::tuple<const double&> n) { printf("%lf\n", n.get<0>()); } int main() { foo(boost::tuple<const double&>(2));//#1 foo(boost::make_tuple(2));//#2 return 0; } 1 run well, but 2 do not. And MSVC gave me a warning about 2: "reference member is initialized to a temporary that doesn't persist after the constructor exits" Now I am wondering why they both make a temporary "double" object and pass it to boost::tuple<const double&> and only 2 failed.

  Hi, I'm trying to unpack a Weblogic 10.3 domain on one of our production servers (SunOS 5.10), but get the following error: $ /opt/bea10/wlserver_10.3/common/bin/unpack.sh -template=/tmp/CM.jar -domain=/opt/bea10/user_projects/CM Error: failed to create the temporary script file Assuming that this is a priviledge problem: where actually the unpack utility tries to create its temporary script files? The unpack script calls a Java class com.bea.plateng.domain.script.Unpacker, so reading the script itself does not reveal the location. I need to ask the sysadmin for the priviledges, so an exact directory location is needed. Of course, the error message is so vague that this might also be some other issue. Any ideas? BR, Marko P.S. Sorry for cross-posting. I tried this question also on Serverfault but got no replies. Perhaps programmers (like myself) do this kind of stuff anyway.

• PHP: Mapped Network Drives

  Hello all, I have mapped a network drive to a computer in my home network. Now I am trying to access it via PHP - I did this quick test: echo opendir('Z:\\'); This gives me: Warning: opendir(Z:\) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No error in C:\wamp\www\webs\tester-function.php on line 3 What have I done wrong here? I don't want my users typing in the UNC path so is there a way to get the UNC path for them and maybe that will work when I try to access it? This is possible in Microsoft languages but I am not sure how to get PHP to do this - maybe using a cmd.exe command? Please note, the mapped drive does exist as I can see it and I can access it. It also does not appear to be a permissions problem as I am assuming it would of complained about this IF it could access that drive...right? Thanks all for any help

  Configuration SQL 2005 (Server A) replicates to SQL 2008(Server B) which replicates to SQL 2008(Server C). I recently added a column (to Server A) to a replicated table via script & the DDL change replicated to Server B with out a problem. When the DDL change replicated to Server C, I received the error below.   I have an Ant script running a standard -task after taking in an inputed password: <input message="Password:" addproperty="password"> <handler classname="org.apache.tools.ant.input.SecureInputHandler" /> </input> <exec executable="/bin/sh" input="${password}" failonerror="true"> <arg line='-c "myScript.sh"' /> </exec> The script myScript.sh prompts the user for a password, and, it was my understanding that from the Ant documentation that input is supposed relay input into whatever the <exec> task is executing, but instead I get (for entering the password foobar) [exec] Failed to open /usr/local/foobar which is followed by a stack trace from my script complaining about an incorrect password...so obviously I've understood the documentation wrong. Does anybody know how to handle prompted input from external scripts in Ant?

• Hudson - Maven is failing (cannot create /dev/null/.m2) on Tomcat-6 - Gentoo

  Hi there. I'm having major issues with getting Hudson up and running on a gentoo server with Tomcat 6. I'm able to deploy Hudson just fine, and I can browse the web-application, configure it and set up builds etc. However, when I try to run a build (in example "clean test" on a Maven2 project) I get this error ERROR: Failed to create /dev/null/.m2 I've google'd and for some it seems to be helping to put -DHUDSON_HOME=/home/hudson and -DMAVEN_HOME=/home/hudson in /etc/init.d/tomcat-6's JAVA_OPTS. However, I've tried that and by doing the same in /etc/conf.d/tomcat-6 , but I'm still getting this error. Has any of you had to deal with this before?

  In PHP I have an array that looks like this: $array[0]['width'] = '100'; $array[0]['height'] = '200'; $array[2]['width'] = '150'; $array[2]['height'] = '250'; I don't know how many items there are in the array. Some items can be deleted which explains the missing [1] key. I want to add a new item after this, like this: $array[]['width'] = '300'; $array[]['height'] = '500'; However the code above don't work, because it adds a new key for each row. It should be the same for the two rows above. A clever way to solve it? An alternative solution would be to find the last key. I failed trying the 'end' function.

(After breaking change in October 2014, status field not return. Please try uploading the file again." } But after about 10s, I refresh again, and operation_status change to: "operation_status": { "code": 200, "description": "Normal" } My quetions is: how to check this audience's status is waiting ( uploading file) , like when I create on facebook not my our system.
