• flex data provider not working if XML has single node value or less

  hello, i get this error when i retrieve an XML that only has 1 node (no repeating nodes) and i try to store in an ArrayCollection. -When I have MORE than 1 "name" nodes...i do NOT get an error. My test show that XMLListCollection does NOT work either. TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert "XXXXXX" to mx.collections.ArrayCollection. this error occurs as the line of code: myList= e.result.list.name; Why can't ArrayCollection work with a single node? I'm using this ArrayCollection as a dataprovider for a Component -is there an alternative I can use that will take BOTH single and repeating nodes as well as work as a dataprovider? • Getting list of Facebook friends with latest API

  I'm using the most recent version of the Facebook SDK (which lets to connect to something called the 'graph API' though I'm not sure). I've adapted Facebook's example code to let me connect to Facebook and that works... but I can't get a list of my friends. $friends = $facebook->api('friends.get'); This produces the error message: "Fatal error: Uncaught OAuthException: (#803) Some of the aliases you requested do not exist: friends.get thrown in /mycode/facebook.php on line 543" No clue why that is or what that means. Can someone tell me the right syntax (for the latest Facebook API) to get a list of friends? (I tried "$friends = $facebook-api-friends_get();" and get a different error, "Fatal error: Call to a member function friends_get() on a non-object in /mycode/example.php on line 129".)   Hello, I am trying to do something that I thought would be simple. I need to create a WCF service that I can post to via JQuery. I have an operation in my WCF service that is defined as follows: [OperationContract] [WebInvoke(Method = "POST", BodyStyle = WebMessageBodyStyle.WrappedRequest, RequestFormat=WebMessageFormat.Json, ResponseFormat=WebMessageFormat.Json)] public string SendMessage(string message, int urgency) { try { // Do stuff return "1"; // 1 represents success } catch (Exception) { return "0"; } } I then try to access this operation from an ASP.NET page via JQuery. • Setting up magic routes for plugins in CakePHP 1.3?

  I'm working on upgrading my project from CakePHP 1.2 to 1.3. In the process, it seems that the "magic" routing for plugins by which a controller name (e.g.: "ForumsController") matching the plugin name (e.g.: "forums") no longer automatically routes to the root of the plugin URL (e.g.: "www.example.com/forums" pointing to plugin "forums", controller "forums", action "index"). The error message given is as follows: Error: ForumsController could not be found. Error: Create the class ForumsController below in file: app/controllers/forums_controller.php <?php class ForumsController extends AppController { var $name = 'Forums'; } ?> In fact, even if I navigate to "www.example.com/forums/forums" or "www.example.com/forums/forums/index", I get the same exact error. Do I need to explicitly set up routes to every single plugin I use? This seems to destroy a lot of the magic I like about CakePHP. I've only found that doing the following works: Router::connect('/forums/:action/*', array('plugin' => 'forums', 'controller' => 'forums')); Router::connect('/forums', array('plugin' => 'forums', 'controller' => 'forums', 'action' => 'index')); Setting up 2 routes for every single plugin seems like overkill, does it not? Is there a better solution that will cover all my plugins, or at least reduce the number of routes I need to set up for each plugin?

  I have made an Installer by PackageMaler3.0.6 on Mac OS 10.8. Also I have add a JavaScript function in Distribution,This function use for detect the certain App is running or not. Some code like this: var allProcess = new Array(); allProcess = system.applications.all(); var allProcessCount = allProcess.length; ... If I normally install (With Installer UI) this pkg on 10.8,10.7,10.5, it's Ok, all function works fine. If i use command line to silent install On 10.8,10.7 it's OK, no error. But if i silent install on 10.5.8, there will be an error in terminal(JavaScript error), can't install. If i remove the code of "var allProcessCount = allProcess.length;" It can silent install on 10.5.8, once if added the code like "allProcess.length" ,there will be an error,it looks like can't use the array property in silent install on 10.5, but 10.7,10.8 it's OK and install with UI it's also Ok on 10.5. Did anyone knows how can i slove this issue? Thanks!!!

  I am trying to implement Sylius Cart Bundle, but every time I add a product to the cart, a new product is created. To solve this issue: Either explicitly call EntityManager#persist() on this unknown entity or configure cascade persist this association in the mapping for example @ManyToOne(..,cascade={"persist"}) According to the doctrine doc, this error occurs when you set a new object. But I am only getting an existing object By ID: $product = $this->getProductRepository()->find($productId); $item->setProduit($product); //this generates the error $item->setUnitPrice(5); //this works fine I don't understand why it's save as a new object. • MySQL Can Connect Remotely but not Locally

  This is a weird problem and I'm not sure what's going on. I installed MySQL on a linux box I have running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I can access mysql via SSH mysql -p and perform all my commands that way. I added a user, and I can use AddedUser to connect remotely from my machine, but not from the local machine. It makes no sense to me... • Xcode: how to know a header file is actually imported?

  To be specific, I am using RestKit framework. I want to use a framework class category called RKObjectManager+RKTableController in my view controller mainTVC. Here is my #import section in mainTVC.m: // framework headers, which should be enough #import <RestKit/RestKit.h> #import <RestKit/UI.h> // my project headers, not relating to framework #import "MainTVC.h" #import "Photo.h" // Do this to guarantee import does happen. But still got error, see below #import <RestKit/RKObjectManager+RKTableController.h> However, Xcode issue an error: No known class method for selector 'fetchRequest:groupedBy:inContext:' For reference, this method is a class method declared only in category header RKObjectManager+RKTableController.h, but not in 'RKObjectManager.h`. Also, I added -ObjC and -all_load to "other linker flags" in build settings, if that's relevant. I suspect the error is caused by the fact that category header is not actually imported somehow. How can I verify that? Or the error is caused by other reasons that I am not aware of. What am I doing wrong?

  I'm trying to add some custom filter methods to my magento module. I though it would be simple but I can't figure out why it's not working. My model which extends the catalog/product class contains this: public function filterProdType($prod_id) { $this->addAttributeToFilter('attribute_set_id', $prod_id); } Then in my template I have this: $collection = Mage::getModel('configurator/product')->getCollection()->addAttributeToSelect('*'); $collection->filterProdType(50)->addAttributeToFilter('type_id', 'bundle'); foreach ($collection as $item){ echo $item->getName() . ', '; } Just to try things out. But I don't get any results, no error, and it doesn't finish rendering the page (missing footer). When I do this instead, it works: $collection = Mage::getModel('configurator/product')->getCollection()->addAttributeToSelect('*'); $collection->addAttributeToFilter('attribute_set_id', 50)->addAttributeToFilter('type_id', 'bundle'); foreach ($collection as $item){ echo $item->getName() . ', '; } I'm just wondering what I'm missing. UPDATE: I didn't realize error reporting was turned off, after turning it on I get the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method Mage_Catalog_Model_Resource_Eav_Mysql4_Product_Collection::filterProdType() I assumed after instantiating $collection using my custom model, it would find my new method.

  I am attempting to clone an object in Javascript. I have made my own 'class' that has prototype functions. My Problem: When I clone an object, the clone cant access/call any prototype functions. • JSTL <c:out> where the element name contains a space character...

  I have an array of values being made available, but unfortunately some of the variable names include a space. I cannot work out how to simply output these in the page. I know I'm not explaining this well (I'm the JSP designer, not the Java coder) so hopefully this example will illustrate what I'm trying to do: <c:out value="${x}"/> outputs to the page (artificially wrapped) as: {width=96.0, orderedheight=160.0, instructions=TEST ONLY. This is a test., productId=10132, publication type=ns, name=John} I can output the name by using <c:out value="${x.name}"/> no problems. The issue is when I try to get the "publication type"... because it has a space, I can't seem to get <c:out> to display it. • How to make command-line options mandatory with GLib?

  I use GLib to parse some command-line options. The problem is that I want to make two of those options mandatory so that the program terminates with the help screen if the user omits them. How can I tell GLib to fail parsing if the user doesn't pass both options on the command-line? Maybe I'm just blind but I couldn't find a flag I can put into my GOptionEntry data structure to tell it to make those fields mandatory. Of course I could check if one of those variables is still -1 but then the user could just have passed this value on the command-line and I want to print a separate error message if the values are out of range.

• Random problem connecting to MySQL

  Environment: RHEL 5 servers, MySQL 5.1.43, PHP 5.1.6 (using MySQLi). Currently only available within our internal VPN network. Servers ServerA: Webserver ServerB/C/D: Database server (1 master 2 slaves) The error (on ServerA) [Tue May 25 11:12:17 2010] [error] [client CLIENTIP] PHP Warning: mysqli::real_connect() [function.mysqli-real-connect]: (HY000/2003): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'ServerB' (4) in /home/**/Database.php on line 67, referer: [website] Problem description It appears that at completely random times, our website is unable to connect to one of the MySQL servers - usually the Master. Except for the forementioned error message, there is nothing to be found in any of the logs as far as I can see, and most of the times the connection is succesful and everything works as it should. It's just at completely random times, this error pops up. There's no firewall blocking any internal traffic, timeout value is 3 but it doesn't take 3 seconds before it fails to connect. With the default mysql client I can connect from ServerA to ServerB,C and D and haven't encountered a problem yet. Does anyone have a clue what I might be overlooking / could be the problem? Because I've run out of ideas myself.

What am I missing, why do I get this error?

• How do I load PersistentDocuments into the same window

  I want to open NSPersistentDocuments and load them into the same window one at a time. I'm almost there but missing some steps. Hopefully someone can help me. I have a few saved documents on the hard drive. On launch my app opens to an untitled NSPersistentDocument and creates a separate NSWindowController. When I press the button to load file 1 off the hard drive the data appears in the fields but two things are wrong that I can see: 1) changing the data doesn't make the document dirty 2) choosing save updates the persistentstore (I know this because when I open the file again I see the changes) but I get an error: +entityForName: could not locate an NSManagedObjectModel for entity name 'Book' Here's my code which is in the WindowController that was launched initially with the untitled document. This code isn't perfect. For example, I know I should processPendingChanges and save the current doc before I load the new one. • Execute a block of database querys

  I have the following task to complete: In my program a have a block of database querys or questions. I want to execute these questions and wait for the result of all questions or catch an error if one question fails! My Question object looks like this (simplified): public class DbQuestion(String sql) { [...] } [...] //The answer is just a holder for custom data... public void SetAnswer(DbAnswer answer) { //Store the answer in the question and fire a event to the listeners this.OnAnswered(EventArgs.Empty); } [...] public void SetError() { //Signal an Error in this query! this.OnError(EventArgs.Empty); } So every question fired to the database has a listener that waits for the parsed result. Now I want to fire some questions asynchronous to the database (max. 5 or so) and fire an event with the data from all questions or an error if only one question throws one! Which is the best or a good way to accomplish this task? Can I really execute more then one question parallel and stop all my work when one question throws an error? I think I need some inspiration on this... Just a note: I´m working with .NET framework 2.0

  I am trying to create a preview window for my texteditor in my blog page. I need to send the content to the server to clean up the text entered before I can preview it on the preview window. Please try again.'); } }); Whenever I tried to click on the preview button it returns an XMLHTTPRequest error. The error description - Description: Request Validation has detected a potentially dangerous client input value, and processing of the request has been aborted. This value may indicate an attempt to compromise the security of your application, such as a cross-site scripting attack. You can disable request validation by setting validateRequest=false in the Page directive or in the configuration section. However, it is strongly recommended that your application explicitly check all inputs in this case. The ValidateRequest for the page is set to false. Is there a way I can set validaterequest to false for the ajax call.Please advise Thank you for reading my post.
